Again, after installing a kitchen faucet on a previous job, Adam Goldman did an excellent job at replacing rusty parts (including galvanized nipple, ptrap) under my sink which were very problematic to remove due to their degree of rustiness. One really can tell that he is an extremely competent plumber with much experience. Beyond his professionalism, Adam is very witty and lively and relates extremely well with the customer. Adam and Lucky form a very upbeat team. Super job all around!

I can't say enough about what a great job Angelo and his crew from Discount Plumbing did with our rental home in Oakland. Angelo called me right away to set up a next day estimate. He and his crew were on time and very thorough. originally, it look like it was going to a straight forward trenchless project and Angelos's quote came in well below several other bids.

Angelo and the crew got to work on time the next day and we were lucky enough to get the once in a blue moon plumbing disaster. A city tree had a root that grew into the line and ran over 52 feet to the house from street. Angelo called me right away and kept myself and my up-to-date with multiple messages as our simple trenchless project turned into a massive multiple trench sewer excavation. After seeing the extensive work that had to be performed it was an incredible relief when Angelo gave us the additional expense from the original quote which was incredibly reasonable. At this point we were at his mercy and I felt that he made sure that he didn't take advantage of the situation. In this day I think this type of honesty is hard to come by and it almost brought me to tears.

Angelo and his crew worked long hours for two days on our little sewer project and they we so professional. The kept the area as clean as possible and communicated clearly with my neighbors, my renter and myself. Angelo was so extremely helpful and positive even as the project got bigger and bigger.

We found Discount Plumbing through all of the fantastic BBB and we could be more pleased than with the support, They earned my highest recommendation and I mean earned it!

So I’ve used Lutz plumbing on numerous occasions and I have nothing but great things to say. My most recent experience was with my Kohler Numi toilet that sprung a leak. When I called Kohler all they wanted to do was charge me 700 for a part and good luck installing. I knew I was out of warranty. I called Lutz (Phil) plumbing and not only did they coordinate the whole thing they got Kohler to pay for the part! And this was the second time Lutz did this for us. I would never use anyone else in San Francisco.

I was able to get a prompt appointment to replace my disposal and Basilio did a great job. He called to let me know when he was on his way and was very quick and courteous. Highly recommend!

I totally agree with others. This monster named Phil will totally rob you .I had a burnt out burner on my water heater this morning,. since heater is still under warranty with whirlpool, I was referred to him. His labor which I had to pay out of pocket was as follows
$375 to diagnose,
$175 labor charge for switching out the burner.
let me tell you, there was no diagnosis needed. The blinking light on panel was already indicating change burner. I told him what to do but he still charged me that for diagnosis.$375 JUST TO WATCH A LIGHT BLINK FOR 10 SECONDS.
So total was $550 for just exactly 8 minutes of work. Which equals to $68.75/ minute. The burner which he probably picked up from Lowes costs $33 and I am sure he will bill whirlpool for a 1000% markup on parts.
On top of this he snooped around looking for other things to do on my water heater and suggested that there was readjustment needed for my exhaust vent and would cost me another $350.Really Mr. Phil? I have had it that way for years and had never had any issues, if I need to get it done, I can adjust it myself for $0 cost.
I work with heart surgeons, even their rate is not $68.75 /minute to save peoples life.
PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS GUY.
