Charles was on time and gave me a good explanation of current and future repairs.

After two visits with Freddy's and $500 later the main sewer was still taking water slowly. I hired Drain Busters to run a camera down the full length of the line and was told there was a large ball of tree roots. I told Freddy's before he started the cleaning that we have tree roots at '75 feet down. I knew this because the line was scoped in the past for different reasons by the city. Now I have to pay again for the line to be cleared correctly. Also didn't put down a tarp and got sewer juice on the carpet that we had to sanitize ourselves. He did assure me that he cleared the full length of '120 but the camera clearly shows he only went 95'.

Outstanding! He is OUR HANDYMAN for anything else going forward. His professionalism, punctuality and knowledge are exceptional. I highly recommend that if you have something you can't figure out at your home, call John!!!

I had a pluggable problem in my sewer system. My bathtub and toilet downstairs was filling up with household waste. I called Rumpca and within an hour they were at my door ready to help. This was apparently the low points in my drainage system and it was plugged. The drainage problem could of been accessed from the bathtub or the toilet. The bathtub drainage was unaccessable so the toilet had to be removed to get to the problem. Rumpaca removed the toilet and put a camera down the line to see where the pluggable problem was and look for the problem. The drain had to be reamed out several times to 100% clear the line. It must of had a lot of build up because this has never been cleaned out and the house is over two decades old. Rumpca fixed the drainage problem and put the toilet back into place. I was expecting a mess to clean up, however the technical took the initiative and cleaned my bathroom mess up and put the towels into the laundry room! I was pleasantly surprised! Great job Rumpca! Called to get a water heater replaced. On their website it says same day water heater replacements. We are already had centerpoint here to tell us we need a new one. Rotorooter wanted to charge $99 but couldnt get anyone here for two days. That is false advertising and we just want to buy a water heater not have someone look at it again.

Good people and honest. Will do the work right with compassion.

I have used Gust on two occasions.  The first was when another plumber wasn’t able to complete work in a tight crawl space (in my basement below the bathroom) and so he referred me to Rusty, the owner.

Rusty completed the work and gave me a lot of helpful information, including info on the replacement of my tub faucet, not accessible through the wall behind it. Thanks to this his help, I was able to repair the faucet without putting a hole in the wood-paneled wall where an access should have been.  Two other faucets were repaired quickly on this second service call.

Rusty really seems to care about his customers and explains things in a way that allows me to do some of my own research and legwork. If I had the funds, I’d just let him do all repairs without looking over his shoulder or investigating further, and I’m sure he has plenty of customers who trust him enough to do that. That said, he has been great about educating me as he does the work.

From the estimate (Joe Rascher), selection of product, scheduling to installation, clean up & invoicing our experience was great. Our installer (Dennis) was very responsive and considerate (covid safe). He also asked for our input throughout the process as he completed the project. Couldn't have been happier to have hired local and have Rascher do this work. Glad to support local business that backs up it up with quality work!

I own Lindstrom Electric, LLC and have worked on some of the same projects with Semlak Plumbing. The quality of his work is the best I have seen and he is easy to work with. When the trades work together on projects the customer receives the best finished product.

We had a pipe leak over the weekend. approx $200 just to come out and diagnose problem (fair). It was a pinhole leak that was present for over a day so the leak looked worse than it was. Standard copper pipe, 10 feet of replacement with standard fittings, 100% visible/ accessible. service was fine but he charged 1600 dollars! Didn't tell me how much more the service would be until after he performed the repair and tried to tell me he was giving me a discount. I felt compelled to pay because we were in a bind but I think this situation should be visible to other potential customers so they can make up their own minds about ethics and pricing.

AC went out and I was able to quickly get an appointment, and my AC replaced in a reasonable amount of time. All the technicians have been friendly and professional. Highly recommended

Called to discuss options for new water heater. They were very responsive and provided a quote after some discussion. Price was competitive with no hidden charges. Scheduled an installation a week out due to my schedule. They arrived on time and completed install as ordered and were done in 1 hour and 45 minutes. Very pleased with no issues. Would highly recommend.
Referred them to a friend a week later who had a leaking water heater and they installed a new one within 2 days. Friend was very pleased with install and price.

Technician came to my home to inspect a waterline issue. I had water leaking from a pipe in my basement ceiling. He did not access and view the pile/line and made a false report claiming it was a pre existing issue. People please dont trust them on any inspections. They are terrible. They are not certified. Dont let the apprenance fool you.

Worst experience ever. We hired him to install a tub and what he put us through was living hell. Takes short cuts everywhere he can with total disregard to property. Our expensive new tub and surrounds got scratched & chipped. So unprofessional and messy that he literally destroyed our carpet downstairs with concrete mix stained all over it. He dropped his tools onto our vanity and ceramic bathroom floor leaving a big chip on the edge of the vanity top and cracking the floor tile. Talks big like he knows it all but don't believe it for a minute. Shows up late and disappears for hours. We tried to be patient and give him respect but eventually we couldn't take his BS any longer and just told him it's over. Had enough of his games and watching him destroy our house. We paid him anyway just to get him out of our house and our lives. We had to hire a new plumber to come in and redo everything he messed up on. It's unbelievable to me that someone like him is still operating out there. This guy shouldn't be allowed to carry a license or do any kind of business. There's so much more I can say about our nightmare experience. I'll just say STAY AWAY from this scam artist. Don't fall for his fake & cheeky demeanor.
