We had a sewer backup and roto-rooter where able to come and take care of it same day. They were there right when they said they would be and they were able to quickly diagnose and fix the issue. They were also patient and polite with all our questions and explained everything that was going on.

Fixed a leak in my Sink in 1 hour at a low price. I would highly recommend them.

Hudson did a nice job diagnosis issues with our A/C unit and being direct about parts/repair costs. The company as a whole was prompt answering our request for service, and we will certainly use them as needed in the future.

We have a private well and septic and they were able to work on it, which, if you don’t know, not all plumbers will work on wells and septic. Alan was very friendly and professional. They were super quick getting the job done and showing up on time. They also gave me a military discount which was greatly appreciate it. Overall just a really good experience and no more clogged drain so I feel like it was a win!

We've used able plumbing a few times. Jake has always done quality work and exceeded expectations. It's hard to find an honest or competent contractor so to find both in 1 company feels like a win. Highly recommended

The technician was fabulous! The price was less than they even quoted on the phone, because he was able to find an access point other than my toilet. They are honest and reasonably priced. I had first called another company, who wanted to charge me four times as much. I would highly recommend this company!

We decided to replace our furnace and AC. The crew (Andy, Joe & Donnie) that completed the installation worked very efficiently. We have used discount plumbing and drain cleaning on more than one occasion. The last visit was for a main drain clean out. Our drain was completely plugged. Could not use sinks, toilets or any water or it would come right back out of the floor drain. I called and they came out in two hours. The technician was friendly. Wore shoe covers and even put covers on the tires of the drain snake machine to protect my carpet. He explained what he was going to do and even showed me the tree roots he removed that were causing my issue. The area that he worked in was clean after he was done and my water is flowing freely. I would highly recommend this company. Lastly I called around just to check, and they were also the best price. A win all around.

Buyer beware! Our furnace went out during a week-long deep freeze. Apollo quoted us $6,700.00 for a new furnace, installed. That is $2,600 and $2,400 higher than two other HVAC companies. Sure felt like they were taking advantage of our desperate situation in freezing weather. We chose another company and are happy with the outcome.

Dave and Matt were outstanding! We had an electrical fire with our old water heater. Hero came out quoted several thousand more than White Bear Plumbing. My wife set-up an appointment to have an undermount bathroom sink bowl installed, to replace a sink bowl that had cracked. Joel arrived within the service window. It was immediately apparent that it was not work he wanted to do, for whatever reason. He informed me that it's a 'very rare' job...which is hard to believe as these are quite common. I had a replacement sink bowl purchased and ready to go. After pondering it a bit, he came back with a quote of $752. According to several contractor friends I'd spoken with, this is DOUBLE what the high-end cost for this job should've been. Joel noted that the job would take about 2 hours; it's was only sealing the sink to the marble and the reconnecting the pipes. So almost $400/hr for his time? I feel it was a straight-up swindle and he just inflated the cost so he'd walk out without any work and the $69 visit fee. I'm assuming this is a common practice with Soderlin, to inflate prices and then laugh all the way to the bank when they've conned the customer or walk away with $69 for 10 mins of poking around. We were scammed. I would caution working with this outfit, especially without any price range estimate before the service visit (which Joel said they don't do). Phil and Howie were great to work with. Very professional and identified the problem right away. Significantly less expensive than I was expecting. Their plumbing expertise was invaluable in identifying problems from frozen pipes over the winter. Will definitely call on St Paul Pipeworks for future plumbing needs.
