Saved me from an impossibly stuck shower valve..a few hours before tub refinisher was coming! Professional office staff & plumbers.

Luke showed up to inspect my furnace. He found a few issues, explained them clearly and in detail with accompanying photos. He suggested several options to improve the system and explained how each work and recommended the one I would have picked anyway. Good communication and accommodating attitude. I've used Service Today! in the past and Luke maintained their reputation for quality and integrity.

Our AC went out the other day. Made a call to McQuillan Brothers and had someone out the very next morning. Dan was great at troubleshooting the issue and telling us what was wrong. We ended up going with a new AC/Furnace install since it was so old and it wasn't going to be too costly. They were able to get someone out that same day to measure (Mike Krauth) and even got a new install set up the very next day. Saying that, we just had Michael and Troy here who did the install and were very professional and just great people all around. We've recently moved to Hastings, so it's been great all around with these guys. I also want to give a shout out to Zong whom came out last week to do an inspection for us (he had warned it may have issues based on the previous owners) and was very informative and also Aaron who inspected our water softener. 100% Recommend this company and their people for your needs!!

Hands down, Kevin, Ron, and their team are the best service providers we have ever worked with. We discovered a belly in our home's sewer line that we wanted fixed and lined for peace of mind. When our wall mounted boiler (radiant floor heat & hot water supply) suddenly went out I searched for someone familiar with this technology and Krinkie's was listed on the manufacturer's web site. They responded immediately and the tech who arrived was able to diagnose the problem, it turned out that the itemized cost to repair was not worth sinking into equipment that was beyond expected lifetime. He arranged for Joe, Master-Plumber, electrical wizard and all around engineering wizard to provide an estimate for replacement with design tweaks to enhance system and cut energy costs. They installed the system the next day (Saturday) and have since upgraded/replaced our thermostats to Alexa-enabled, remote-sensing Ecobee's that provide incredibly easy-to-use zone heating throughout the house. It's pure luxury to adjust temps anywhere via Alexa and to be able to monitor our home's temperatures, humidity and air quality from anywhere. I can highly recommend all of the technicians at Krinkie's and am blown-away by the depth of knowledge and technical prowess of Joe specifically!

I had noticed a miscellaneous leak coming from around my laundry tub for awhile. I finally decided it was about time to get it fixed. I called TJK Plumbing and they came out that same day! DJ and Kyle located the leak and also noticed a lot of corrosion on my 20+ year old laundry tub. After explaining everything they found, they fixed the leak and were also able to replace the laundry tub. About 2 weeks later I had another plumbing problem. I noticed orange stuff coming from my softener. I called TJK Plumbing again and they were able to get Brad out same day on the weekend. He saw right away that my softener had blown and was starting to leak resin. He was able to install a new one same day and made sure all my lines were clear. Everyone who I had out was very professional, friendly, knowledgeable, and clean. I will definitely be calling them for any future plumbing issues.

My wife set-up an appointment to have an undermount bathroom sink bowl installed, to replace a sink bowl that had cracked. Joel arrived within the service window. It was immediately apparent that it was not work he wanted to do, for whatever reason. He informed me that it's a 'very rare' job...which is hard to believe as these are quite common. I had a replacement sink bowl purchased and ready to go. After pondering it a bit, he came back with a quote of $752. According to several contractor friends I'd spoken with, this is DOUBLE what the high-end cost for this job should've been. Joel noted that the job would take about 2 hours; it's was only sealing the sink to the marble and the reconnecting the pipes. So almost $400/hr for his time? I feel it was a straight-up swindle and he just inflated the cost so he'd walk out without any work and the $69 visit fee. I'm assuming this is a common practice with Soderlin, to inflate prices and then laugh all the way to the bank when they've conned the customer or walk away with $69 for 10 mins of poking around. We were scammed. I would caution working with this outfit, especially without any price range estimate before the service visit (which Joel said they don't do). My old water heater broke, so I did what I normally do with this sort of thing and went down to Home Depot to get a new one, planning to watch YouTube videos and figure it out. But after looking at what the job would entail, seeing that there was going to be both solder and gas lines involved, I decided to call in a professional. Jake found time on a Saturday evening to come by to do the job (with his son as his helper, a real family business). They looked over the job free of charge before beginning work, and after a five minute inspection they gave me the price I would pay. It was a little higher than they had said over the phone but there was an obsolete valve that needed replacing -- I Googled 'grease-pack ball valve' and it was totally legit. And the overall price was right.

They handled the job just under three hours and hauled my old unit out of the basement. The installation looks nice and professional. Nice guy, and it's clear that he loves his business -- would definitely trust him again for future work.

I called late on a Sunday evening because one of our bathroom sink valves inexplicably broke and was spraying water all over the bathroom. I expected them to charge an arm and a leg for an emergency visit but Ken calmly talked me through a quick fix that would hold us over until Monday morning when a technician could come during regular hours. Our tech, Corey, came over right away on Monday morning and fixed the issue. Ken saved us hundreds by talking me through a fix instead of sending someone and Corey was awesome and fixed the pipe within 30 minutes. I was blown away by how quickly they were able to respond and help. I highly recommend!!!

Alto was referred to me by another customer. So I set up appointment, I'm gonna cut to the chase. I was charged $250 for the first 90 mins and $175 per hour after, and I was told it would be $2 per additional foot to run the snake beyond 100 feet. He ran the snake an additional 50 feet. I paid almost $800. I had to call another company out to actually clear out the wipes stuck in the drain. They charged $198 and actually unclogged the drain.
I spoke with the person that referred me to Alto, whose opinion I trust because he is knowledgeable, I explained to him what Rick did and what he charged me...he couldn't believe it and was not happy as that's not what Alto even charges for multi dwelling plumbing issues.
I'm told they get commission..I guess being a woman that doesn't know much about plumbing, Rick decided I would be his target that day.
The person that referred me is going to try and help me recoup some of the money back, he felt really bad, and has not had this type of experience(work or price) with Alto before, and knows who Rick is.
All it takes is 1 person/employee to give a business a bad reputation.
Due to the experience I had with Alto, I will not recommend this company, and I advised the person that referred me(even though he meant well) not to refer them.

After going a week with backed up sewer in basement I called General Rooter. They did a complete fix on biggest problem and in one day I had water and no backup in basement. This company is very professional, and honest. I was updated on every step they did to fix problems. It was wonderful that Jason and team helped me. I highly recommend this Company!!!
