Matt Solko at Abbott Ferraro designed the HVAC system to heat/cool a new second floor on my home. The new 2-zone system is doing a great job of keeping the second floor as cool as the main floor. On top of bringing a superb level of competence, Matt is a very honest person with a great work ethic.

Jon was knowledgeable, pleasant and skilled. He did a good job of communicating what the repair challenges were and how he would approach them.

We signed up for a maintenance inspection in early Octobber 2022 and have had our appointment cancelled twice after waiting most of the day (1/9/2023 the most recent cancellation) for the tech to show up. Like the first cancellation, no appointments were available for another month or longer. I wonder how many others have had inspections done who signed up weeks after our first appointment?

Called to discuss options for new water heater. They were very responsive and provided a quote after some discussion. Price was competitive with no hidden charges. Scheduled an installation a week out due to my schedule. They arrived on time and completed install as ordered and were done in 1 hour and 45 minutes. Very pleased with no issues. Would highly recommend.
Referred them to a friend a week later who had a leaking water heater and they installed a new one within 2 days. Friend was very pleased with install and price.

Mike H and Josiah M did a fantastic job fixing a 100 year old leaking and broken main toilet pipe in our family’s very old house. It took creativity and experience to tackle this project in a way that was both fixed the right way up to code, and yet still cost effective! They did a superb job with their communications all along the way, performed high quality installation, and cleaned up nicely. They were respectful and pleasant to work with. All of the other team members at Mr. Rooter were also great at communicating and keeping us informed along the way. Great team, great company! I will be using Mr. Rooter again for my next project!

When our wall mounted boiler (radiant floor heat & hot water supply) suddenly went out I searched for someone familiar with this technology and Krinkie's was listed on the manufacturer's web site. They responded immediately and the tech who arrived was able to diagnose the problem, it turned out that the itemized cost to repair was not worth sinking into equipment that was beyond expected lifetime. He arranged for Joe, Master-Plumber, electrical wizard and all around engineering wizard to provide an estimate for replacement with design tweaks to enhance system and cut energy costs. They installed the system the next day (Saturday) and have since upgraded/replaced our thermostats to Alexa-enabled, remote-sensing Ecobee's that provide incredibly easy-to-use zone heating throughout the house. It's pure luxury to adjust temps anywhere via Alexa and to be able to monitor our home's temperatures, humidity and air quality from anywhere. I can highly recommend all of the technicians at Krinkie's and am blown-away by the depth of knowledge and technical prowess of Joe specifically!

We have used discount plumbing and drain cleaning on more than one occasion. The last visit was for a main drain clean out. Our drain was completely plugged. Could not use sinks, toilets or any water or it would come right back out of the floor drain. I called and they came out in two hours. The technician was friendly. Wore shoe covers and even put covers on the tires of the drain snake machine to protect my carpet. He explained what he was going to do and even showed me the tree roots he removed that were causing my issue. The area that he worked in was clean after he was done and my water is flowing freely. I would highly recommend this company. Lastly I called around just to check, and they were also the best price. A win all around.

I had a gas-powered garage heater installed in mid-November. I got quotes from Apollo and 3 other companies. Apollo's quote was on the higher end but the sales person told me that they could get the installation done sooner than other companies (1 week out versus 2-4 weeks for other companies). My goal was to get one installed before the bitter cold arrived. In the end, they delivered on that. However, I was also told that everything could be done in one day, whereas other companies told me that 2-3 separate visits were required and we'd be at the mercy of the city inspector's availability to sign off on the gas line which can take days or weeks. I went with Apollo after they offered a price more similar to other companies and because of the fact that they could probably get it done in one visit in one week's time. I do emphasize probably because it was never promised.Turns out that the gas line needs to sit for 24 hours before the city can test it, thus REQUIRING multiple visits on different days to complete the install since Apollo needs to come back out and hook up the gas line after it's been inspected. I felt a little deceived, I imagine my sales person had to have known this. I can't be the first person that's had a gas line installed by Apollo.Additionally, I called Apollo to see if they can offer and/or install a programmable thermostat instead of the non-programmable one they installed. I was told that my sales person would call me to discuss but I didn't receive a call. I called back a few days later and just asked if they can tell me any programmable model that would work with the unit I purchased so that I could just buy and install it myself, was told that I'd get a call back, and again never did. I also had hoped to connect with my sales person so that I could provide this feedback privately rather than on a public review.After removing the thermostat from the wall to move it to a different location, I found that they had put an unnecessary fist-sized hole in the dry wall behind it, which is odd since the wire wasn't put behind the wall or anything.On a positive note, the installers that were here for the installation of the unit and gas line were very friendly and other than the hole in the wall, did some very nice work. They asked my preference on where the gas line should run, and they did a great job of keeping it tight to the wall and as out of sight as possible. Same for the guys that came by to hook up the gas line, also very friendly and provided great service.All said, I'm satisfied with the work that was done, I would just recommend that Apollo reps don't dangle all-in-one-day service if it's not even a possibility. I felt like I was purposely over promised in order to get the sale.

I called Soderlin Plumbing because they have been around South Minneapolis for years. From the first call, to problem solved, I was impressed.
The issue was, I have had such horrible water pressure going to my outside water faucet for years. My sprinkler was only able to get about 3 feet high.
Ken came over and assessed the issue within 10 minutes and recommended a solution. I agreed and he got to work. Ken was trustworthy and experienced. I am 100% pleased with the results and I no longer have sprinkler envy of my neighbors. Thank you so much Ken!

Forced into using their services pretty much, multiple different quotes none of which were accurate and then dropped a massive bill on me because I had to use a commercial service for my residential low income housing I was living in. I wouldn't recommend from my personal experience.
