Mike H and Josiah M did a fantastic job fixing a 100 year old leaking and broken main toilet pipe in our family’s very old house. It took creativity and experience to tackle this project in a way that was both fixed the right way up to code, and yet still cost effective! They did a superb job with their communications all along the way, performed high quality installation, and cleaned up nicely. They were respectful and pleasant to work with. All of the other team members at Mr. Rooter were also great at communicating and keeping us informed along the way. Great team, great company! I will be using Mr. Rooter again for my next project!

When our wall mounted boiler (radiant floor heat & hot water supply) suddenly went out I searched for someone familiar with this technology and Krinkie's was listed on the manufacturer's web site. They responded immediately and the tech who arrived was able to diagnose the problem, it turned out that the itemized cost to repair was not worth sinking into equipment that was beyond expected lifetime. He arranged for Joe, Master-Plumber, electrical wizard and all around engineering wizard to provide an estimate for replacement with design tweaks to enhance system and cut energy costs. They installed the system the next day (Saturday) and have since upgraded/replaced our thermostats to Alexa-enabled, remote-sensing Ecobee's that provide incredibly easy-to-use zone heating throughout the house. It's pure luxury to adjust temps anywhere via Alexa and to be able to monitor our home's temperatures, humidity and air quality from anywhere. I can highly recommend all of the technicians at Krinkie's and am blown-away by the depth of knowledge and technical prowess of Joe specifically!

Called Apollo early on Saturday am and wanted my A/C fix, on the hottest day of the summer. They showed up on time and fixed the problem quickly. Great job.

I gathered quotes from several HVAC providers in the twin cities. Cities1 gave me the best quote. They didn't try to pressure me into anything. They kept things simple: showed up, installed the furnace, charged what they said they would. Can't ask for more!

Living in a townhome association, we were all informed of a resident dealing with an unforeseen incident, as a result of the water pressure/incoming water pressure valve. Colton and Tyler diagnosed this being a potential issue for me today and replaced my non-functioning water pressure valve, which exceeded the expected lifespan and the water pressure exceeding the recommendation. Metro Plumbing installed a new water softener for us. Jesse was professional, experienced and extremely knowledgeable. It was installed on time and the business was great to work with.

While the work Silver Tree performs is acceptable, their pricing is frankly outrageous. We had a water heater (originally installed by Silver Tree) that failed after just three years. As part of the warranty process, Silver Tree installed the replacement at a labor price of $675 for less than two hours of work. If cost is a factor at all for you, I recommend looking elsewhere for plumbing and HVAC.

Charly and his helper were quick to help, polite, and flexible. Working with them was a delight. Charly is irreplaceable because he (built vanities and sinks) is very good. We called in three separate businesses to fix a problem with our exterior drains. Kevin and his guy gave us a precise arrival time, arrived promptly, and performed a MUCH better job diagnosing and repairing the problem. People had quoted us thousands of dollars, but he fixed it for hundreds, and he was friendly and simple to work with.

My wife set-up an appointment to have an undermount bathroom sink bowl installed, to replace a sink bowl that had cracked. Joel arrived within the service window. It was immediately apparent that it was not work he wanted to do, for whatever reason. He informed me that it's a 'very rare' job...which is hard to believe as these are quite common. I had a replacement sink bowl purchased and ready to go. After pondering it a bit, he came back with a quote of $752. According to several contractor friends I'd spoken with, this is DOUBLE what the high-end cost for this job should've been. Joel noted that the job would take about 2 hours; it's was only sealing the sink to the marble and the reconnecting the pipes. So almost $400/hr for his time? I feel it was a straight-up swindle and he just inflated the cost so he'd walk out without any work and the $69 visit fee. I'm assuming this is a common practice with Soderlin, to inflate prices and then laugh all the way to the bank when they've conned the customer or walk away with $69 for 10 mins of poking around. We were scammed. I would caution working with this outfit, especially without any price range estimate before the service visit (which Joel said they don't do). The plumber arrived 35 minutes late to replace a faulty toilet shut off valve that was soldered in place. He didn't have a mask with him so we supplied one. In our upstairs bathroom placed his tools on our bath mat instead of a work towel. He used a torch to loosen the defective valve, and in the process scorched/burned the paint behind the toilet. He failed to use a heat shield to protect our wall. No apology. No response from the owners.

Took three days for him to put in a utility sink. Then had to call him back twice because one of the pipes he put in leaked. Charges by the minute and spent 20+ minutes trying to sell us on a specific faucet. He is not worth the hassle. Also, plumbers crack showed the whole time.
