Great overall experience!

Matt S. is a tech at Aabbott Ferraro. Matt was sent to repair our room air conditioner. He was on-time, polite and knowledgable! Matt had our AC unit back up and running quickly. But he noticed that our unit had a faulty board that would not shut down the AC in the event of a water leak. Matt came back the next day and installed a new board. Fabulous service!

I bought a voucher on Amazon Local to have my furnace inspected and cleaned thinking that would be a good way to try out a local HVAC company to become my regular HVAC company. The tech came early (which was fine) and was very pleasant. He explained what he was going to do so I let him do his work. After 15-20 minutes he came upstairs and explained that I should replace the start capacitor for my blower since it was reading off-spec. I can only assume that was true as I didn't see him actually test it nor do I know how to test it. He explained that a weak start capacitor will eventually ruin the motor for the blower so replacing the cheaper part would save replacing a much more expensive part. He also explained to me that the ignition system was dirty and various parts could be replaced (shouldn't that be part of the cleaning??). He showed that to me but it looked mostly fine to me. He showed me the prices to do these services and others and, let's just say, sticker shock didn't even begin to explain my feelings. I relented on the start capacitor (for $155) since it sounded plausible that my 12 year old furnace needed a new one. I have no doubt that it actually needed a new one. He replaced it with a new one and I can only assume he actually did the rest of the services described by the voucher (I didn't hover as I know how annoying that can be and I had work to do). After he left, I thought I should just do some searching to see how much these parts can be. Some light searching brought up prices between $10 and $45 for parts that looked very similar to the one he showed me. I don't think I saw ANY over that price, but I don't know the exact model, so I can't be sure. Reading some forum posts across the internet suggested that $155 for the part was a ripoff.Now, I could see paying $155 if he had to come out and diagnose the problem and take it out and replace it. But if the part actually costs less than $50 and he was already there to test the capacitor as well as do other services (which I already paid for), then the price should be the cost of the part + some expected markup.So, I probably won't be calling them back in the future. Whether or not I was actually cheated, I don't know, but I feel cheated. I also feel that I was hit up for expensive parts namely because I chose to use an Amazon Local deal, but that's probably in my head.In summary... the tech seemed knowledgeable and was very pleasant. He did his job as far as I know. I just feel that the markup is exorbitant and felt like I was taken to the cleaners just to make up for using an Amazon Local deal.

This is an addition to my first review. I will never use anyone else as long as they preform like have. . These guys are the best. Read the review below if you want to, but these folks are friendly, on time, do what they say they are going to do. Great Job.(Last Summer) We needed a gas line ran, called Genz Ryan first, they made and canceled my appointment wanting to reschedule after I had appliances being delivered. I called McQuillian brothers and they came the same day, gave me a detailed estimate and came the next day to do the work. I will never use anyone else after they pulled my butt out of the fire. Great folks.

Called to discuss options for new water heater. They were very responsive and provided a quote after some discussion. Price was competitive with no hidden charges. Scheduled an installation a week out due to my schedule. They arrived on time and completed install as ordered and were done in 1 hour and 45 minutes. Very pleased with no issues. Would highly recommend.
Referred them to a friend a week later who had a leaking water heater and they installed a new one within 2 days. Friend was very pleased with install and price.

Our A/C stopped working and Drew came quickly the day I called! He was able to fix the issue and provide tips of other things that would need to be fixed soon but not yet. I never felt pressured to fix anything else but figured he was there so why not. He fixed everything needed and was gone in less then an hour. So friendly, kind and easy to work with!

Our experience with Ryan this past Sunday was fantastic. First, he answered the phone when I called at approximately 11:15 PM the night before to inquire about an AC repair once we realized that it had broken. Then, he arrived promptly at 11:00 AM the following morning (having given us an arrival time window of 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM) and began assessing the problem. He worked diligently until our AC was fixed, finishing up within approximately one hour. It has worked great ever since! While no-one wants to face the hassle or expense of an unexpected appliance repair I would absolutely recommend Krinkie's to anyone with Heating or AC needs. They've been great!

Paul did an EXCELLENT job! He came here expecting to do one repair, but ended up fixing/replacing other things that I let go for too long. He did advise of potential safety issues, which, ultimately, led to me having all the items fixed. I’m so pleased! I’m single and have to rely on, and trust, people like Paul. I feel safer and happier, already, and he just finished the work. I will only use Aquarius Home Services for all my home repair needs.

Terrible customer service. Our old water heater broke days before Christmas 2020 causing water damage. They were able to get one installed before the holiday. 3-months later, it broke while on vacation and flooded our entire kitchen/ceiling below. We had to file another claim with our insurance and are NOW being kicked off our insurance since Majeski said it wasn’t their fault the new water heater broke. The fitting used was fastened too tight, causing a slow leak that eventually broke loose. Majeski told us to sue the fitting manufacturer instead of them. I will never recommend them to anyone. This has been 2-years on ongoing hell and construction.

Kurt installed a water heater for me in my very small furnace room. He was fast efficient, very courteous and knowledgeable. He checked everything before he started making sure it would be done right. I’m very happy with the work he did.

After a service call identified potential larger issues with our furnace Cities One quickly came out and gave us a competitive estimate and got the installation set up for the same week. Adam did an excellent job on the install. He added an extra cold air return box under the new furnace to increase and optimize the return air volume and furnace efficiency. He ensured all duct seams were taped. He was very courteous and informative and excellent clean up at job completion. I have had Cities One install and service my boilers and hydronic in floor heating system with excellent results on two homes. They are my go to HVAC contractor.

My wife set-up an appointment to have an undermount bathroom sink bowl installed, to replace a sink bowl that had cracked. Joel arrived within the service window. It was immediately apparent that it was not work he wanted to do, for whatever reason. He informed me that it's a 'very rare' job...which is hard to believe as these are quite common. I had a replacement sink bowl purchased and ready to go. After pondering it a bit, he came back with a quote of $752. According to several contractor friends I'd spoken with, this is DOUBLE what the high-end cost for this job should've been. Joel noted that the job would take about 2 hours; it's was only sealing the sink to the marble and the reconnecting the pipes. So almost $400/hr for his time? I feel it was a straight-up swindle and he just inflated the cost so he'd walk out without any work and the $69 visit fee. I'm assuming this is a common practice with Soderlin, to inflate prices and then laugh all the way to the bank when they've conned the customer or walk away with $69 for 10 mins of poking around. We were scammed. I would caution working with this outfit, especially without any price range estimate before the service visit (which Joel said they don't do). I called Janecky from a referral through a friend of mine. They took my call, responded to my needs quickly, scheduled an installation same day, dealt with removing my water softener, water meter and other things to get them out of the way in my compact utility room so that they could remove my 13 year old water heater which was behind all of that, then installed the new water heater. They reinstalled all of equipment back to spec and restored our hot water without any leaks all for the exact price quoted to me by phone.
