I was speaking to John about replacing a sprinkler system back flow. We had agreed on a price but was just awaiting a part (that he had me order online) to come in. 5 days ago I got the part and sent John an email advising him that the part was in. I haven't heard from him since. And this was a referral!! Guess what I told his friend who referred me!

What a cavalier way to do business. No matter. I got another plumber who showed respect and I saved $75.00 at the same time. Looks like pricing and job scheduling are issues for this company; at least in my experience and at least 5 other reviews where scheduling seems to be a problem..

I recently realized I was going to need a new water heater. I checked BBB, YELP, and another site to find the highest rated companies to talk to. From there, I received about four bids. Maplewood Plumbing had one of the best bids and were the highest rated! They also were going to install the highest rated brand of water heater. I did have to wait an extra couple of days for installation compared to the next best bid, but I thought the better rated brand and higher customer ratings would be worth it. I was right!Maplewoods team was on time for the installation and went to work immediately. I had had one of their estimators out a couple of weeks before to make sure of an accurate estimate as it would be a tight squeeze getting the new tank into the space and to install a drain pan. This information had not been relayed to the install team. And the supplier did not drop off the drain pan. But they handled it excellently. They called for another employee to assist in lifting the new tank into place! And the employee picked up a drain pan and hose from Home Depot. It took an extra 1/2 hour or so but no grumbling and they took great care to make sure there was no scratches, dents, or dings on the new tank , doorways, steps or flooring! No extra charges either!! Very Professional!! Though I won't have to for many years, I would easily hire them again for any plumbing job I needed!! They deserve the high customer satisfaction ratings!!

We have used Performance Plumbing for minor plumbing issues for years and when we wanted to remodel our bathroom, we were excited to work with them. Rick and his team were great to work with, both answering all of our questions in getting everything for the work to start and giving all of the possible options to stay within our budget. During the install, Rick and his team were friendly and professional throughout the entire time. As they ran into some issues, they took care of them and noted them later, without charging extra or causing significant delays to the overall project. They had originally quoted 5 days to finish the job and were able to walk out the door in 4. All of the work was top notch and I wouldn't hesitate to hire them back for further work in the future.

Service was provided within two days of reaching out for non-emergent water heater installation. I bought the water heater from Lowe’s so only paid labor and permitting, and they had the cheapest rate of companies I looked at. Work was done promptly and efficiently, with no snags related to either the plumbing or the billing.

Did not complete the job. Overcharged. Refused to supply copy of license or insurance. Refused to provide itemized invoice. And left my house in need of repair.

Representative was two hours late to our appointment and wasted more time talking about his children’s careers than our service needs. Then ghosted without providing the promised estimate or scope of work. 0/10 for bad service and unreliable staff. If this is what the process looks like at the beginning, I’d hate to see what happens next. Steer clear.

Roto-rooter did a great job with my drains. They were kind and professional. Al and Chris were helpful and great at explaining everything that was wrong. I really appreciated everything they did.

They overcharged me over $1500 more then estimate. They held us hostage because we had to close on our house and couldn't dispute the charge.
