I was speaking to John about replacing a sprinkler system back flow. We had agreed on a price but was just awaiting a part (that he had me order online) to come in. 5 days ago I got the part and sent John an email advising him that the part was in. I haven't heard from him since. And this was a referral!! Guess what I told his friend who referred me!

What a cavalier way to do business. No matter. I got another plumber who showed respect and I saved $75.00 at the same time. Looks like pricing and job scheduling are issues for this company; at least in my experience and at least 5 other reviews where scheduling seems to be a problem..

We had Brooks Plumbing come in and put a main stack in & Vents installed. They showed up with their crew did an awesome job was very professional and courteous. Gave them their own keys to enter the house for the time that they were working. Not one problem I would recommend this company to anyone who has plumbing needs this was a big job and they tackled it was no problem at all. Thank you Brooks Plumbing!

My water heater went out and they had someone there first thing the next morning! He was friendly, fast, and explained what he had done and how the new one worked, as well as how much more efficient the system was and why.
They also told me about a substantial rebate that would help alleviate the unexpected cost of a new major appliance.

I purchased a very expensive boiler (20k) last winter for them for our radiator heat.  They came to try to fix the old unit and said that our only option was a new one.  After some debate, we moved forward.  The installation itself was OK.  They left the basement door open for most of the time, and I had to ask them several times to close it because we were freezing.  I tried to ask them how it was going while they installed it, and they would barely respond.  Given the cost, I don't think this was unreasonable.  After the install, it stopped working completely after about 7 days.  I was pretty upset. They sent out a technician off hours who had no idea how to fix it. It turns out that the reason it stopped working was because the exhaust valve was installed incorrectly.  Apparently, it wasn't windy the day of the install, but there was more wind later on, so it needed to be installed differently.  Yikes. It works well now in terms of heating up the home.  I will say that the cost savings from this unit were not at all what they told us. The salesman made all sorts of claims about all the money we would save to run the unit.  All of that wasn't true.  It is cheaper to run our forced air units (although the radiator heat is much better; it heats evenly, there is no dust blowing around, etc.). We do love the radiator heat, but it isn't cheaper.  Maybe it is cheaper than a 50-year-old boiler, but he knew that wasn't our situation.  We weren't using the radiator heat at that time, which is why they were there in the first place.  All of this was really disappointing, but today, after switching back from Hoffman, I had someone out for a separate issue, and he was asking me about the unit.  Apparently, we could have gotten a similar unit and used it for our hot water as well.  He said it would have been another ~$1,000 (compared to getting a new $3000 water heater).  I remember the salesperson mentioning that as an option very briefly, and I expressed some interest.  I don't really know what happened in that particular part of the discussion after that, but at the very least I didn't understand the options, because it appears like it would have been a no-brainer based on what I am hearing today.  I have no idea what to believe on this particular issue, but it just added to my overall disappointment about the experience, which is why I am writing this review.

I had a leaking toilet and called Roto Rooter. The technician showed up in a timely manner but was unprofessional. He said the parts on the toilet needed to be replaced and I agreed, however, the price was approximately $300 more than I've spent in the past on an entirely new toilet. I explained this to him and he seemed unconcerned, stating that the price was non-negotiable and that he had nothing to do with it, that Roto Rooter had fixed prices for all parts. I let him install the new parts but I feel as though I was swindled.EDIT:I emailed the person that replied to this post twice and never got a response.

We called at 10 am with the water having been turned off the night before. The earliest availability they had was tomorrow morning but ended up working something out doe this afternoon. They were an hour behind and I left a vm.....however, once they arrived they assessed the situation quickly and had the fix done in less than 30 mins. They also said to call if there is still water. Will definitely use them again! Polite. Professional. Courteous.

Great service, very knowledgeable technicians. They went out of their way to get emergency help to us and could not have been nicer or more responsive. Highly recommend them for any plumbing job.

Their services were required through the company we used to remodel our bathroom. One of the guys was very rude. (He's the one to the right in their Facebook business profile pic). They did a horrible job communicating with the other company to make sure they left the tools needed in order to do their job in a timely manner. Instead the rude brother came in and asked where is the Stuff as if we knew what he was talking about. We reached out to the company to assist with getting an answer but no one replied...time passed the rude brother walked in and out the house then went to the bathroom. We asked did they find the item he replied well You were on the phone. Past tense, and furthermore we were trying to get answers for him. He could've communicated when he found the items instead of walking in and out with an ittitude. They damaged the wall and didn't say a word to us. They didn't know how to install the faucet to the tub, so we had to have someone else complete their job. Later on we discovered the water pressure was off because a bad piece was installed which should've been tested by them
but they didn't know how to install the piece. I asked a question to the rude brother and he told me to ask my daughter because his brother was already explaining it then he walked out. The customer service was poor. I was told by someone that works with them regularly they are not friendly and they argue like a married couple . While I didn't witness the arguing, it's good to know, I'm not wrong in how we were treated.
