I work for the company and they are amazing one of the best companies I have ever worked for and we do plumin Hvac and electrical we have alot of really great employees.

I purchased a very expensive boiler (20k) last winter for them for our radiator heat.  They came to try to fix the old unit and said that our only option was a new one.  After some debate, we moved forward.  The installation itself was OK.  They left the basement door open for most of the time, and I had to ask them several times to close it because we were freezing.  I tried to ask them how it was going while they installed it, and they would barely respond.  Given the cost, I don't think this was unreasonable.  After the install, it stopped working completely after about 7 days.  I was pretty upset. They sent out a technician off hours who had no idea how to fix it. It turns out that the reason it stopped working was because the exhaust valve was installed incorrectly.  Apparently, it wasn't windy the day of the install, but there was more wind later on, so it needed to be installed differently.  Yikes. It works well now in terms of heating up the home.  I will say that the cost savings from this unit were not at all what they told us. The salesman made all sorts of claims about all the money we would save to run the unit.  All of that wasn't true.  It is cheaper to run our forced air units (although the radiator heat is much better; it heats evenly, there is no dust blowing around, etc.). We do love the radiator heat, but it isn't cheaper.  Maybe it is cheaper than a 50-year-old boiler, but he knew that wasn't our situation.  We weren't using the radiator heat at that time, which is why they were there in the first place.  All of this was really disappointing, but today, after switching back from Hoffman, I had someone out for a separate issue, and he was asking me about the unit.  Apparently, we could have gotten a similar unit and used it for our hot water as well.  He said it would have been another ~$1,000 (compared to getting a new $3000 water heater).  I remember the salesperson mentioning that as an option very briefly, and I expressed some interest.  I don't really know what happened in that particular part of the discussion after that, but at the very least I didn't understand the options, because it appears like it would have been a no-brainer based on what I am hearing today.  I have no idea what to believe on this particular issue, but it just added to my overall disappointment about the experience, which is why I am writing this review.

We came home from a week long cruise to find a waterfall in our beautifully finished basement. While we were gone a pipe had burst in our 1st floor bathroom and water could have been flowing for the entire week damaging both levels of our home. After shutting off the main water supply, we called Midwest Flood Restoration. They arrived at dawn the next morning, reasuured us that all would be well, then tirelessly worked for 5 days, removing wet drywall, pulling up carpeting, hauling away our damaged personal items, packing up items to be saved then drying out/sanitizing the entire area. We were ready for reconstruction in less than a week! Midwest Flood Restoration workers were truly our heroes and we would highly recommend them to anyone needing this type of flood restoration work.

I needed my sewer line from the downspout repaired due to damage. I received a same day quote and got excellent service. The people who came out were very polite and did great work. I will be doing future work through this group.

Isaiah did an amazing job. He was on time, and very friendly. He explained the issue and fixed it in a timely manner.

I have used this company before and I liked how affordable it was and the response time. My a/c unit outside went out. They came and found that my compressor was bad on the unit. due to the age they suggested to get a new one and I did. The helped me through the financing, which was real easy and was told it would be a week before they could install it. I told them I have kids and it's about to get hot again, is there any way we can do it sooner and they were able to do it the next day. They came out and got it done. I couldn't been anymore grateful for them and making this happen. Thanks again and will definitely be using them on my next hvac needs. Every point along the journey to get our HVAC system back was a great experience with this company. All of the technicians were incredibly knowledgeable in every facet of their skill. I could tell I was getting real answers to questions I had, not phony marketing lines that try and upsell features.Brian was incredible to work with on the estimate side of things because he had 15 yrs experience as a tech. There was nothing about the install or equipment that he didn’t have a firm understanding on. And, he treated me like a human being the whole time, not some commission to win or demographic to pander too. (Looking at you Jerry Kelly)They were able to get an install going the very next morning - which was actually pretty important as I live out of town from this rental property.Jon led the install and was remarkably straightforward and personable, they cleverly worked around some inclement weather, air intake regulation scenario, and a gas line hookup issue through phone calls or texts- and had the job wrapped up by the end of the day.It was no doubt a huge expense for the house, but gosh, they sure didn’t make it feel that way. I feel very confident that - between the quality of the American Standard manufacturing, the high level of skill installing it, and the reliability that this company has shown - I won’t have to think much at all about HVAC issues for the next 15-20 years. And that is worth every penny. (And it was ⅔rds the cost of the Jerry Kelly private label BS)
