I highly recommend Alvin with Serieux Plumbing. My wife and i hired him to hydro-jet and scope our main line in our 110 year-old home in Curtis Park. Alvin was up front from the beginning, charged us a fair rate to hydro-jet our main line and scoped out our pipes with his camera to verify they were in good condition. This was a major source of stress for us, and Alvin approached the situation sensibly and honestly. We haven't had any backups since hydro-jetting our mainline 4 months ago. I'm also crazy busy in grad school and he was able to handle this for me over the phone while I was in school. He's also a consummate gentleman, and my elderly mother-in-law--who lives with us and dealt with Alvin directly--was impressed with his professionalism and friendliness. If you're looking for an honest plumber with fair prices look no further. Alvin with Serieux plumbing get's the job done right, in a timely fashion and with a smile. Thank you, Alvin. I went with this company based on the good reviews they got on this site but I would say Using them was the biggest mistake I’ve ever made. I recently paid 18k for a new heating and AC System and had them updated the insulation in my roof as well. I will just highlight the major problems without boring everyone.

1. Once they get your money they could care less if your system is working or not. Their install rep Morgan is so stuck up that even if you called, left messages, and emailed she wouldn’t respond. Our system broke 1 week after installation and I had to chase after her down like she was some celebrity and when I finally got ahold of her, her response was “I saw your call and your emails but my lunch and meeting are way more important than responding.”

2. Poor workmanship the insulation was not even filled to the top like it was suppose to. Since they ran out of materials on the day of instillation they just left it 3/4 of the way full. If I the AC didn’t brake and another inspection was not done we would have no idea that the insulation was not completed. They would had just left it that way. The duck work and sealing were not competed either.

3. Poor management. After receiving such poor service, trying to get them out there to finish filling up the insulation and duct work was a struggles as well. No one followed up on the work that needed to be done and appointments would be cancel over and over. The mangers would say they would follow up but they never do. Even when after talking to their owner he didn’t even give a proper apology I never got one for that stuck up install rep Morgan as well.

So based on experience I would never ever use this company again. Not only did that cause me a world of stress but also jeopardise my family health as well. The install process from start to finish took about 2 months. Who knows how long it would have take if I wasn’t proactive.

These plumbers are timely, courteous, and upfront about prices and procedures. The job was flawless, and every area was left spotless!

We had such a great experience with Jeff's plumbing. Syreeta was excellent with customer service and making sure that we're taking care of as quickly as possible. Adam, Corey, Calvin and Vince were awesome also. It was a big job and they did a fantastic job in making it less stressful! They identify the issue immediately. They were assuring and were trustworthy! There was a tree root that grew over years and broke a pipe which led to us not being able to use our ONLY bathroom without overflowing! Unfortunately this job was not able to be done from the outside so they had to go inside the room to do it!

Thank you guys so so much for everything. I would definitely use them again!

Same Day came out at about 1pm to unplug, later that afternoon I called them to inform that toilet was still not flushing. They advised that they were working on schedule and would call me back with a time. They never called, I followed up the next morning and was advised that I would have to wait for Monday. Very dissatisfied that they did not do the work correctly the first time and now they are having me wait for 3 days. But they sure did take my $$$$

I have had this company out 3 times for my water heater. The first time they came out they replaced the most common cause of the water heater going out. Understandable, but still wouldn’t stay lit. Second time was to see what was wrong and order the part. Almost 3 weeks later after my water heater going out, they come and replace the gas control unit in front, what they didn’t do is put the pilot ignition switch back onto it because “the bracket wasn’t the right one.” I looked in the bag of parts and there is the correct new bracket that is supposed to be used that, under my impression, they didn’t want to bother installing. So they left it dangling. So when I go to try and restart the pilot light I will sometimes get shocked doing so. Needless to say this is a hazard in itself and the corners they cut are a definite safety concern. There are also other new parts that they didn’t replace in the bag. As well, they forgot to even turn the water valve back on before they left. If they can’t pay attention to detail I don’t want them to work on anything anymore. Definitely would stay away from this company as they seem to not do a job professional and fully.
