We recently moved in to an older home (built in 1914), so the first thing we knew we needed to replace were the pipes and water heater. Dave immediately impressed me upon our first meeting and I felt comfortable throughout the entire process. One of our main concerns was being without water for too long, and he made sure that the job was done quickly, but correctly...and ensured that we had water each evening when we returned from work. We love new pipes and the the tankless system, and he was even able to replace the drain pipes that were not part of the initial estimate while he was here. Gary arrived at the appointment time and I was greeted with a smile. He studied the situation with my water back-up and determined the plan of action to remedy the problem. He also discovered a problem pipe that he was also able to replace. Gary advised me about the McDonald Value Program to save money on any future work I might need done and I signed up for that program. Living in an older home, it seemed like a great plan.

I called with an emergency as my shower handle broke while the shower was running. I had water pouring out and needed a plumber ASAP. They came out in a timely manner, which I appreciated. Everything was relatively fine until they replaced my handle. I had a nice handle before and it was replaced with an absolutely ridiculous knob... it's not even close to comparable. After paying $650 (which seemed high) to have the knob replaced, I now have to buy my own replacement and try to install it myself. I can't keep this hideous alternative. I was told the brand I had was hard to find, but I'm frustrated that there was no communication or attempt to talk about options or what replacement I would like instead. I spent too much money to now have to deal with this myself. At least I don't have the water running and that was done expeditiously, so I appreciate that.
