We converted a bath tub to a shower and a dual lav to a single. Lots of plumbing involved. We engaged Mike Salazar of On Point Plumbing for the job. The quality of his work is outstanding. From the soldering of the copper pipes to the re-alignment of the lav plumbing, Mike’s superior skill was demonstrated. The supplier of fixtures and parts was less than efficient and Mike had to make repeated visits to install them as they came in. He did so without complaint, without added charges over a period of two months. A1 Plumbing did a great job and was very professional. I signed up online for a quote for a sewer line replacement and they came out about a week later, they were real busy, and gave me the best quote that I had out of 6 quotes. They performed pipe bursting on my 55 year old sewer line, that was completely buried under a driveway, sidewalk and street, and replaced it from under my house all the way to the main sewer line in the street for under $7,000. Much lower than a lot of other quotes that were only going to replace a portion of the pipe leaving me with a partially repaired line. Jay told me it was going to take a month before they could get to my house because of the backlog due to bad weather and they were there one month later and knocked it out in a couple of days with no unforeseen problems or costs. Recommend them highly for a sewer line replacement and I'll be using them for any future plumbing needs.

Called them for help with a relatively minor problem with my hot water heater. They were out the next day; problem was found and fixed quickly, at a competitive price. Great to deal with.

Highly recommend. Absolutely great company with personable and professional employees. Put in a call on a Saturday and they were at my house in North Tahoe within an hour. The plumber, Ryan, had everything ship-shape in less time than I expected and the price was fair.

Wow! That was my wife's, daughter's and my remark after using Dr. Plumber for the first time. Jack was great! We called him at 2 PM and told him we were having a going away dinner for our daughter and we had a plugged up kitchen drain line which presented a problem. He said he could help us out even though one of his employees had called in sick that day and he was busy with his regular appointments. He fit us into his schedule, arrived on time and fixed our kitchen sink problem, and then the GOOD news, the price was GREAT - really GREAT. When I find a great service provider in the Reno/Sparks area I want to pass this information on to others. Yes, I would use him again in a heartbeat! By the way, I suggest you start using Google+, not Yelp. Yelp started charging $$$ to the business for listing client information!

Absolutely incredible service from Van Allen Plumbing! We had a huge issue with another company that wanted to charge us double the amount of Van Allen Plumbing and we couldn't even get ahold of them to discuss payment options and the service after the first time they came out. VAP came out and diagnosed the issue, sent it to the home warranty company immediately after leaving our house and we had a new water heater installed within a week after fighting the other company from the beginning of August until now,Beginning of November. Josh is who helped us along with Carlos and they were both very professional and awesome to work with! Josh explained in full detail everything for us of the full diagnosis and what needed to be replaced and what the out of pocket most likely would be. We had no problem paying the out of pocket to them, the service,how fast they were and how professional they handled everything and took us seriously, made it worth it! I highly recommend using them for all your water heater needs and I will definitely be doing Buisness with them again in the future should we need it.

schedule to come out to check septic tank same day, called me to verify and said yea ill give you a call right before I get there. Did not bother to let me know they would not be coming out after all. Poor communication. DO NOT RECOMMEND.
