A-1 plumbing did an excellent job replacing a collapsed lateral sewer line to a 1950s old Reno home. There was potential for many complications but work went really smoothly, their crew knew what they were doing and finished a day early. The price was very reasonable, I highly recommend them !

Great honest company

I had been making calls and getting estimates for a couple of weeks to get our water heater replaced. Other places I called in town were too busy to send someone out to give me a quote and couldn’t get me on the schedule for a few weeks. Then other places came out but were more expensive or didn’t back to me with a quote. I called Root-o-matic and even though they were busy too, someone came out right away. When he saw how bad our water heater was leaking he offered to pull it out right then and there and put a new one in the next morning. And also gave me a fair price. Our whole family is so grateful! Thank you Root-O-Matic and especially Darrin. Darrin was very experienced and skilled, and most importantly, kind. I’ll call these guys again if we need them.

We had a very positive experience with Ira Hansen and Sons Plumbing. Sean Simpson replaced our 19 year old water heater today. He was very knowledgeable, conscientious and accountable. He took the time to come early to inspect our old water heater to determine the specific parts he needed. He also kept us apprised of when he would be returning to do the actual installation, and his progress along the way. He represents Ira Hansen and Sons Plumbing very well and we will definitely contact them again for any future plumbing needs!

Dr. Plumber (Jack) fixed a leaking gas line for me pronto.Finally a contractor that cares about his reputation and quality of work while at the same time being reasonable during these tough economic times. Great communication all the way through.

Beware of this company unethical methods , they purposely will not have the parts so they charge $120 per hour commute to bring it. The charge time starts from the moment they leave their office . Replacing a hydrant that required 1 1/2 feet deep digging was going to cost over 650.00. So I paid for the digging and let them go .
Employees were courteus and professional , but I will never call this company again , EVER .

Replaced my water heater and brought it up to code through my home warranty provider. They were professional and did a nice job. The extra I had to pay to bring it up to code was reasonable.

We had a great experience with Royal Service Plumbing. Marcus was every bit of wonderful! He showed up on time and fixed our leak/valve perfectly. Most importantly, he was kind, professional, honest, and highly skilled. Top notch customer service and attention to detail.

Our air-conditioning went out last night. I called BRIX and they were here this mornning. They had all the parts on the truck and fixed our air-conditioning very quickly. Very professional, knowledgable service. I asked how they got to me so fast? I was told the Business is based out of South Reno. So South Reno residents, if you want a neighbor to work on your house, BRIX specializes in South Reno.

We used Freedom Plumbing to replace a hot water heater. They came out the day after we called and did a great job at a reasonable price. Also used them a few weeks later when our garbage disposal went out. Very satisfied with their service, prices and response time.

I called Hansen & Sons because I was having a water hammering with pressure dropping problem in my house. The guy showed up at the appointed time and we went over the issue and the guy was explaining to me what was going to happen and began telling me, You have to disconnect the main line and put a pressure gauge on the line to check for a blockage. Several times he told me, You have to do this, You have to do that to which I got frustrated and asked him, Aren't you the plumber? Shouldn't you be fixing this and finding out what the issue is? He told me we will be doing the work and taking care of the problem. I told him okay, let's get this scheduled and taken care of as soon as possible. He told me that he would confirm with the office and would be letting me know when he is returning to fix the problem. I called the office the next day and they told me the appointment would be Tuesday between 10-11am. On the following Tuesday the day of the appointment at 10:45 the plumber called me and told me he was not going to show up and they refused to do the work. So they had me waiting all week, without any intention of coming back to fix the problem, and instead of letting me know prior they call me last minute to cancel. If they knew that they were not going to come back and fix the problem, why wasn't I informed prior to the appointment date, instead of leaving me to suffer with the problem, and causing a delay for me to call another plumber to come out and look at my water line? I did make it a point to talk to the owner and find out why last minute they told me they were not coming back out, his answer was good luck in getting your problem solved. In my opinion customer service is very important and there was none from this company. I find it incredibly irresponsible, disrespectful, and unprofessional. I HIGHLY recommend you don't use this company, unless you want to get screwed like I did.
