TCR is my absolute go to for plumbing and rooter services. The staff is kind, professional, and extremely knowledgeable. They've been able to help me when needed urgently, and always with a smile. Highly recommended.

This is at least our second time using Midtown. Once again, I'm very impressed. The tech called and arrived almost an hour before schedule which was awesome, since our kitchen sink and dishwasher were out of commission due to a clog. They are always prompt, courteous and efficient. I will definitely call them again and highly recommend!

Update: I originally had a 5 star review but I am changing it to one star. I expected more diligence from this company especially being a repeat customer. I was quoted a $4000 repair after the technician worked on my unit for over an hour. I knew something was not right after reviewing the work order I was sent. I got a second company to check behind them just in case. After about 20 minutes it turns out all I needed was wire replacements which cost $170 total. I no longer trust this company. Please always get second or third estimate from other companies before making a decision with Michael and Son.

Dalton Hogan is a excellent technician. He has a pleasing personality and very knowledgeable about his work. He is patient and explains all the details of the work . He goes above and beyond to satisfy his customers. I rate him 5/5 and I am sure he would a asset to any company, he works for.

Owner came out and spent significant time explaining exactly what I needed and the pros/cons of upgrading to a tankless vs a straight replacement. Answered all of my questions and after the replacement helped me with my denied home warranty claim.

My mother-in-law called to have someone come out and look over the plumbing in and around the house for leaks because she received an unusually high water bill of over $50. Typically she pays around $30. The gentleman came out and looked around the bathrooms and kitchen and then, without asking, replaced two floats in two toilets, which were fairly new and not leaking. He charged her $309.

My mother-in-law didn’t think the floats were the issue, but waited for the next water bill to make sure. She soon received the next month’s water bill of $908. Finally, a family member came over and after much looking under the house and anywhere there was a water supply line, they found a faucet in the back yard was on and the attached hose was leaking. They turned it off and the problem was solved. My mother-in-law called the plumbing company and spoke to a young lady and told her how the man replaced two good toilet floats, didn’t look around and how much he charged. The young lady basically said there was nothing she could do.

I called today and spoke to the office manager. I let him know what the service technician did when he came out and he said that if he would have talked to her, he would have come out and looked around. He also said for her to call and talk to him if she had another plumbing need. I told him my mother-in-law was a little gun-shy now of Carolina Plumbing and I didn’t think she would be calling them again.

My main frustration is that the service technician didn’t look around, didn’t ask where any supply lines or outside faucets might be or look under the house at all for water leaks. In my opinion, this isn’t good customer service and borders on taking advantage of someone who doesn’t understand plumbing.

Two days ago we were without heat as our 3 year old gas boiler furnace suddenly quit working. I called the man who installed it but his voice mail said he wasn't available. And he wasn't available yesterday morning. I was referred by my AC vendor to Newcomb and Co. doubting that a large company with mixed reviews would respond to a new customer who was without heat. The receptionist's first words were, You're without heat? I'll get someone out there as soon as I can! Wow! Three hours later Richard showed up, replaced an internal switch, cleaned up the boiler unit, and departed leaving me grateful for rapid response and comfortable heat in our house. Ned Yellig, MD

I called and found them very helpful and mindful to protect my kitchen cabinets as they analyzed how to fix a water leak while taking care of the integrity of the rest of my kitchen.

The technician was John as he worked very hard all day to get the new plumbing in and the new fixtures while explaining why he was doing it the way he was doing it.
