Best Heater Repair in Raleigh NC

When you have water pouring into your basement that won't stop when you cut off the main water valve, you need professionals and you need them fast! Billy Soames and Eric Grimes crawled underneath my very wet house, determined the source of the leak (which is not so easily done in a plumbed and re-plumbed 1890 home) and dug and dug in the pouring rain. I almost cried with relief when they were able to completely repair the broken pipe without having to dig a huge trench from the house to the main water line. Kudos to the office staff, Valerie and Amy, who managed to get them out for this emergency and are always understanding and ready to help. A great company and wonderful people.

Linwood Mosly was the Newcomb serviceman that came to my house. He was right on time and provided excellent service. I am considering replacing some of my toilets and Linwood took stock of the three toilets and advised me on estimated installation costs and also some other details and advice on what to order, etc. He also took care of a minor problem I was having with one of the toilets. I've had Walston Plumbing fix a few things in my home, from small leaks to big-time pipe replacement and they are always professional, clearly explain what is happening, and get the job done in a reasonable amount of time. everytime i've ever had to call these guys they are fast and efficient to come out and help me. they are fairly priced and do a great job. total professionals, they're the only plumbers i use!

Used their service to replace my old electrical water heater with Hybrid water heater, they did not finish their job of connecting the electrical cables to new water heater as cables were short, they left saying that an electrician has to do the job, which they did not give an estimate before starting the job.
They did not use CPVC pipes, did not put the water heater on existing stand, and they were asking for more to add extra CPCV pipes that are required for my new water heater.
Basically i can tell they were very unprofessional, but they charge as other professionals do. DON'T HIRE THEM.

Appreciated the call to advise what time they would be arriving. Work was done well. Final caulking around the base of the toilet could have been better but was happy with the completed job.

Walter and the folks at at Air Experts (previous Raleigh Heating and Air?) are a top notch organization based on my first experience with them (certainly not my last). I called them for a second opinion from a diagnosis of a potential carbon monoxide (CO) leak from my heat exchanger on a 7 year old Trane from my previous HVAC company. The previous company 'red tagged' my system, shut it down and presented me a quote for replacement that was well over twice the standard replacement cost. Walter applied his experience, analysis and common sense and quickly determined no present danger of CO, in fact at the exhaust of the furnace CO was 18 ppm and you start getting concerned at over 1000 ppm. So, no issue, no concern for panic. I have three CO monitors in the house, none of which has 'beeped' a warning.
It is so refreshing to find a technician like Walter and the company he represents with a combination of ethics and experience.
