Raleigh Plumbing and Heating is a local company that not only has a staff of trained plumbers but has a fabulous showroom called Splash Galleries that showcases everything from kitchen faucets to entire walk in lipless showers.

We called PK Plumbing to install a tankless gas water heater. Edwin was prompt to respond and provided excellent communication regarding appointments and cost estimates. He took the time to explain the installation process and functionality of the system we purchased and was very patient while answering my many questions. He was very professional, friendly, and respectful of our space by cleaning up and maintaining social distancing. We called Edwin back to repair leaky laundry faucets and he worked just as efficiently and helped us stay within our budget. ARC had been referred to me by my realtor. I purchased a home and a week later the water heater started leaking. I called ARC and they sent someone out the next day to take a look at my hot water heater. Benjamin gave me 3 options in regards to repair or replacement. Since the part was hard to find, I ordered it online and called ARC back when it had arrived for installation due to multiple issues with my hot water heater. I would recommend them to anyone. Benjamin is super knowledgeable.

We were very happy with the service that they provided - the plumber arrived early and was friendly, informative and competent. He was able to quickly assess the problem, which was a clogged drain, and he had the necessary equipment and spare parts.

Wow. I mean WOW. Needed a water filter installed under our sink. Remove the old system and install the new system. No major drilling or level of difficulty because the hard work had already been done by previous plumber.Manufacturer says no plumber needed which is true. Not complicated to intall, just takes time, time I don't have.Two separate Roto Rooter plumbers (plumbers...ha ha ha ha ha...that's hilarious) said they couldn't install it. I read the manual and it isn't rocket science. In case you want to review the instructions yourself online it is Waterdrop RO.1) Screw faucet into existing hole in counter, connect hose to filtered.2) Existing water line plugs into input.3) Waste line connector already present just plug it it so it drains.4) Insert 3 provided filters5) Plug into existing electrical outlet1st appointment- 12 & 4pm. Showed up at 7:30pm. At least dispatch called to let us know.2nd appointment next day- they called me at 7:15 am. Plumber will be there in 45 minutes. 9 am no call-no show. I called in- oh your technician had to be re routed. Then they sent someone else who wouldn't install the system.The quality of people they are sending into homes is downright scary. I gave them two stars because both plumbers were polite otherwise it would have been one star. Poor quality and not on time twice.Roto Rooter will never touch anything plumbing related that belongs to me because I do not have faith that they know what they are doing. Eesh! Thumbs down. 👎

If you want delays, aggravation, frustration, cost overruns, Carolina Plumbing and Repair is your company. I hired them to do plumbing for my new residential construction, my biggest mistake!

They failed rough-in inspection and took almost three weeks to comeback and correct it. These guys have more on their plate than they can chew. They are grossly understaffed, they lie about scheduling, they don't do it right the first time, and hope to get by.

They are always in a rush, and do not dedicate time and effort to do it right the first time. For example, they ran the water leak test for rough-in inspection and did not take the water out from the drain lines after inspection. With cold temps the water froze and busted the pipes, this was on January 10th 2018, as of today they haven't come back to fix it. We are 3 weeks away from closing and two weeks from final inspection, these guys are still dragging their feet. They have held up other trades from completing their jobs. There are many more examples, and if I wrote them all - I would end up writing a book titled: 101 Reasons Not to Hire Carolina Plumbing and Repair.

I would not recommend them for new construction or new additions.

Do not use! I chose John Hutchins’ company because he seemed very knowledgeable and was priced reasonably. The project started off well enough to get the big draws, but then started dragging and dragging. It was like pulling teeth to get them to do work. Finally they just stopped showing up. I had another plumber come in to finish the job. The mistakes he had to correct from John’s guys have cost me thousands of dollars.

The Newcomb technician was very helpful and knowledgeable about my heating system. I will definitely use them in the future!

Many experiences with this well run and honest company...from our own needs to those of my MIL . Never had anything but the best service with fair prices. Companies with this level of integrity are too few and far between now.

We had Santy come out and help us with our kitchen remodel. Not only was he on time, he was very professional. He updated some of our old plumbing pipes, installed a new PRV, toilet, vanity, and sink. Santy has years of experience and it shows! Would highly recommend to anyone residential and commercial.

I could not use my shower. It was difficult to turn on the faucet. Mr. Joe H. diagnosed and fixed the problem. He took the time to explain what he was doing. He saw that there were problems with some prior plumbing on my hot water heater. I appreciated the information. I am motivated to get the rest of the plumbing work done with Progressive.
