CK's Plumbing and Backflow ran a natural gas line from our crawlspace to the new grill. From the beginning they responded quickly, had someone over for a quote in no time, and provided wonderful customer service throughout always letting me know what was going on. As for the work, they did an amazing job and did it efficiently with no reason for concern on my part. The crew were friendly and respectful of my house and property. I definitely would recommend them!

Scott was great! He quickly was able to detect the problem under the house and start the repair on our leaking pipes right away! And he even repaired an additional leak that he found while testing the water pressure, that we didn't realize was there. I didn't expect him to be able to get to it today but I'm so glad he could! He was very thorough and explained everything well and even advised us on what we could do for our next steps! Thank you for your quick, thorough work!

We had Santy come out and help us with our kitchen remodel. Not only was he on time, he was very professional. He updated some of our old plumbing pipes, installed a new PRV, toilet, vanity, and sink. Santy has years of experience and it shows! Would highly recommend to anyone residential and commercial.

Poor communication. Poor outcomes

I had an estimate done by another company (ARS) since Matthew's was pretty booked up. While I've had good luck with ARS in the past I wasn't very impressed with what I got this time, and the job I needed done was going to be very expensive. I kept my appointment with Matthew's and they came out with two technicians. They were very knowledgeable and polite. End result: in two hours they finished about 2/3 of the work that I had originally wanted estimated, and for about 1/5 of the estimated cost. (I chose not to have the other 1/3 of the project done just yet.)
In fairness to ARS, they stand by their quotes so they may very well have estimated high (and actually charged me less when the problems ended up being simpler to solve), but I was still very happy with the service from Matthew's and will absolutely look to them first in the future. They were super competent, efficient, and easy to work with.

My well pump stopped working. I actually have a home warranty contract, but they said they didn’t have any contractors in my area to fix a pump. Finally, after complaining about paying for a service and not getting it, they found one to come out in 10 days. Seriously, try not having a shower or being able to flush your toilet for 10 days! (First American Home Warranty if you’re wondering). I tried contacting some plumbers but for some reason got no call backs. When I called Affordable Plumbing I got someone right away and gave my information. Eddie called me back and set up an appointment and was there when he said he would be. Unfortunately,
my system was set up differently than most apparently, and he said he would be back that evening or the next day. He came back that evening and installed the new upgraded system that I had requested in in a short time . Now I have better water pressure and a much quieter pump. I would use this company again.

I hired Omar twice, once at my rental unit to fix a leaky gas line and once to swap out a gas control valve on my water heater. Both times Omar showed up on time and did a clean professional job. Having used Omar's services twice now I can highly recommend his services. I know he's the first call I'll make for future plumbing needs.

Jerry and Jared arrived in Wake Forest 6/4/19 to determine source of water flooding our crawl space. Jerry went into the crawl space and thru the smaller entry to the laundry crawl space. Found the leaking connection and replaced it quickly!

Went with another company that did not require an upfront service fee

I worked for this company they scam all their customers into believing there are worse problems then there really are ... they are trained from day one how to scam save your money and go with someone else .... if I could give negative stars I would

I ask for a quote on installing a water softener they told me they charge 1100 to 1500 dollars on an install that would take an hour. Normally I pay 400 to 500 dollars for this install. Be careful using this company
