It’s never convenient to discover you have a main water leak leading to your home, but even more so during a pandemic just days before Christmas. Sutherland Plumbing was incredibly accommodating diagnosing the problem, recommending solutions, coordinating the myriad of prework and players involved, and then completing the work quickly and efficiently. Their professionalism and friendliness was spot-on from Courtney who coordinates scheduling, to Ty who fielded my long list of questions and texts, to the crew who completed the work (Ty, Cameron, and Nathan), and even to the post-work review and paperwork. But it’s not only the quality of their work, work ethic, and how they interacted with me that makes them stand out. It’s the way they treat each other … they have such a rhythm working alongside each other, no hesitation to get in and get the job done, a sense of camaraderie and mutual respect for each other that just put me at ease during a stressful situation. While I hope I won’t have any more plumbing emergencies, I know that I’ll call on them again for any job ... big or small.

This particular location only houses storage for plumbing materials and supplies and some off street parking. Their primary focus is on Residential and Light commercial plumbing service and repair. So at this location they have no retail.

Pex to the rescue! I'd been quoted a truly huge number by another local plumbing service and I was so worried about how I was going to pay for the repipe and my mortgage. Greg came over right away, he was even a little early. He was really thorough and my dogs both liked him.

He told me how the repipe would go, when his team would arrive, what I should keep an eye on and even which plants would probably die as a result of the new water system install (it's fine, I didn't like that one anyway). He showed me pictures of the new hardware they would install and talked me through everything that would happen after they were done from the inspection to the drywall fix, which was included in the price of the repipe (the other company I'd gotten a quote from did not include repipe or guarantee against any damage to the house).

I appreciated that he gave me a discount for paying with check, and that he didn't pressure me to make a choice right away. Even though my problem was slightly urgent, he trusted me to know when I was going to be making my housing decisions. Also, his price-point was almost too good to be true after what the other company quoted me. I looked up average prices for a repipe in Portland and it was the other company who was way off base price-wise. They most have thought I didn't have another option.

The day of, Enrique, Gaven and Jason arrived when we expected them to, they did what they said they would do and even wiped down and re-arranged the cleaning products under the sink when they were done. My kitchen sink has always been backwards but they fixed it while they were piping, they also did a new toilet install the same day because I'd mentioned that I always hated my toilet and it turns out it was really affordable to add it on.

While they were working they used drop cloths to protect our floors and other furniture and they left things clean and tidy. The repipe itself took one day and the only spots where you could even tell someone did major work is where the drywall had to be cut. Also, they were patient with our dogs who were barking a lot at all the noise.

I'm so relieved to have this done and taken care of, Deanne in the office was quick to respond to my questions and pleasant to talk to every time.

Well i’d say they got the best plumbing services . Their working skills is unbelievable .

Tim is incredibly helpful. He stopped by my house twice to help consult on a tricky shower valve that wouldn't shut off. The value stem end up having the washer stuck inside causing to have a significant leak. The repair required access through the porcelain surround which needed a larger whole cut. Not a service he provides. However, once I gained the access Tim came by a second time to see if the solution worked. A $20 part once the access was there.

He provided excellent advice on how best to research and resolve the issue and ultimately didn't even charge me. The dude rocks!

Our technician Steve J. Did a swift and thorough job repairing the kitchen faucet. He took his time answering any questions we had and provided full detail what he did for future issues.

Really great experience with plumbers doing work and performing an inspection. Will be a repeat customer should the need arise.

Jason & Chris were very efficient in installing my new kitchen faucet. They called in the window they promised, were here on time, removed the old stubborn faucet, installed the new one and answered all of my questions. Next time I need a plumber, I definitely will call them.
