Having to do a sewer line repair from our house to the street is not something you look forward to doing. But if you've got to do it (and apparently you do or you wouldn't be reading this review), Sewer Renewal Specialists makes it a lot easier to deal with. Initial contact was with Cindy in the office. She was very friendly and helpful. Joe came out to do the estimate. Took the time to show me and explain what he was seeing with the camera. Discussed the process and answered my questions. After receiving the bid, David, the owner, was very responsive to my follow up questions. Joe's and David's professionalism won them the job and the rest of the crew were just as good. Taylor and Jose did the bulk of the work with the excavation and insertion of the pipe lining. Kamryn and William arrived the next day to finish the job with pulling the balloon, closing up the pipe and refilling the hole. Finally came Garrick to do a great job with the concrete to seal the hole. All of them clearly knew what they were doing and worked very well together as teams. And they all let me hang around to watch and ask questions about the process which I enjoyed a lot. I also need to compliment them on the software they use which kept me well informed about appointments and arrival times. The bid and invoice documents were also very clear and easy to read.

Highly recommend Erik and Portland Star Plumbing. So easy to work with and looking forward to using them on an upcoming larger project. Also happy to finally have a great plumber to recommend to others.

This company was referred to me by our home inspector. I called in the morning and was greeted with excitement and great service. I was told it would be no problem to get a septic inspection set up, had a temporary account setup and was told to ask the owners to call in and state we had permission to schedule an inspection. I was told I’d get a call back to confirm the inspection. 4 hours after getting confirmation from my realtor that the owners had called and granted access, I called rose city back as id not received a call from them.
I was told they could no longer do the inspection as they stated to me hours before that they could. I asked why I was given conflicting information and I was hung up on. I would not recommend this company to anybody who expects any level of customer service in their transactions. They might be cheap, but if their service is anything like their customer service, you’ll want to avoid it like the plague.

Awful way to treat a paying customer. I am completely appalled at how I was just treated. Don't be surprised if they aren't sorry to lose your business.
EDIT in response to your response: I'm very sorry, but not surprised, to hear that the information you were given is completely inaccurate. I called to apologize and pay for the trip at which I was met with the threat of escalating the situation. I NEVER said that my assistant wasn't authorized, I said that she failed to update me that you were scheduled to come out that day which is why I did not answer the call. I wasn't available and I was sorry about that. I got ONE phone call from you all after that trip and it was from the technician himself, no other calls were made to me. I followed up the next day to cover that trip and approve the repairs, but your extremely rude dispatcher didn't let me get two words in to even apologize before she was threatening escalation. I did not think it was unreasonable for you to secure payment, I thought it was unreasonable that she was speaking to me the way she was and that's when I got upset. Not before. And I wasn't even rude to her, I was SHOCKED. I told her to just tell me how much and I'll pay it and be on my way to which she said she'd have her boss call me to collect payment. I'm sorry you are getting grossly incorrect information. You don't have to worry about me calling you guys ever again, believe that. I'll take my 9 locations business elsewhere happily. I would suggest you monitor the way your dispatcher speaks to your customers before you lose more clients. And I HOPE beyond HOPE that EVERYONE sees this exchange and realizes that this is how you run your business, because I would RUN the other direction.

We have had an issue where we have to run our water for far too long to get either cold or hot water. I wanted to bring in someone new to review our situation and, after checking reviews, brought in Terry Massey Plumbing. Terry and his son came in and in and, in the process of checking out the water lines, determined that the duct work for our dryer was totally shot and needed to be replaced. We set up an appointment to run a hot water line to the kitchen sink AND replace the duct work. I'll attach photos later showing how bad the duct pipes were- unbelievable and not something that the home inspector had caught when we bought the house just 2 years ago or, for that matter, the company we brought in to clean all the ducts sometime after we moved in. My wife and I are very grateful to Terry Massey Plumbing for finding this and bringing it to our attention. So the duct work has been replaced, a new hot water line to the kitchen sink- everything done on time and per their quote- and we're quite happy!

I had been dreading my sewer repair since I purchased the house. Mario made the whole thing seamless. My life wasn’t disrupted. He was on time, professional, kept the area tidy, communicated well, worked hard, and was cost effective. The repair was done quickly and I sort of wondered why I had been so dramatic. But I thought sewers were dramatic??
You should hire him! (My repair was done in anticipation of the new sellwood sewer line connection.. and now it’s all ready to connect next summer!)

They were the first to call about our need for service. They were professional courteous covid concerned. They were the most reasonable quote allowing for senior discount and cash discount. Saved us almost 300$ from the next service estimate. Installed a gas hot water heater. Then cleaned up the area and answered many question. Would certainly use them for any new problem. Excellent.

They listened to my needs and provided efficient services. Some areas in my crawl space were hard to access, but they managed to finish the job. The quality of work was great.

Our water heater went out and started leaking in attic. We contacted our Us warranty company. The plumber was able to work with us on his schedule the same day. He explained the problems. He informed the options that might be good. Great 👍👍

This is hands down the best plumbing company we have ever used. Quality products, professional crew and office staff, not to mention the owner who is honest, professional and accessable. They repiped our entire house in a day. The owner went way above and beyond when faced with some odd, complex issues. It would be hard to match this company and all it offers.

I called Steve about 9:30 am Monday morning. He was at my house by 10:15 am, had my drain unclogged and no longer gushing water out of a pipe by 11 am. He was extremely knowledgeable and quick! I was expecting a huge bill but the cost was reasonable as well. I hope I don't need a plumber again for a long time but if I do, I know who I will be calling.

Avoid Happy's Plumbing by all means. The owner; Jack is extremely ill tempered and disrespectful. I cant believe people like that are even allowed to have a CCB license. His prices wont make you happy and his profanity and insults don't add any value to the deal.
