We are expanding into our basement and decided to scope our sewer line to be sure it was still in good condition as to avoid needing to rip out sewer lines in a finished basement later on. However the problem was in our front yard where we had a product that was quickly found to be an inferior product (orangeburg) years ago. It needed to be replaced ASAP.

Learning more about our options, David and his crew came highly recommended as an option. Instead of needing to rip up our front yard David was able to line our existing sewer line from the street to just inside our foundation after cleaning and de-scaling our entire underground sewer line. The cost was more affordable and far less intrusive than trenching a new line in. They could have come while we were gone for the day and would never have known the work had been done! All the members of his crew, David included, were friendly, happy to answer questions, and worked quickly and methodically. They cleaned up when they were done to the point I wouldn’t have known they were there. Our yard looks no different t as there is no trench. They are a well oiled machine.

We are happy to have avoided any plumbing issues and also happy with the end result as we are confident this job was done at a top notch professional level as by the looks of the product and its install requirements demand.

Down the road, if the rest of the sewer line under our house needs replacement, lining it is still our go to option and would certainly call Dave back.

One of my roofers accidentally broke an exhaust vent pipe from the water heater and couldn’t fix it, it was noticed at the end of a long hot day and we all wanted to go home, after getting put on hold and no call backs from multiple plumbing company’s and expecting to be there until midnight, Tony came within 15 minutes due to location being nearby and had the customer as well as I satisfied within another 15 minutes. Give that guy Tony a raise, it was a pleasure to have him fix my problem.

We are not on city sewer and have a septic tank with a warning alarm where we live. The alarm was tripped on a Sunday afternoon and we knew we either needed the tank pumped or maybe our pump failed. We experienced this before and knew we needed to get service ASAP. Monday morning I called PDX Sewer Solutions to help us out. Rob took my call and discuss options with me. He came over quickly (within 1-2 hours) to take a look and assess our situation. He was able to what we needed and he helped us right away. Rob was so kind and easy to work with. He explained everything in detail and the price was lower than other companies we have used in the past. I am an extremely happy customer and they will be my first call the next time we need service. Gary was a life saver! Our water main pipe broke late last night and gushed for several hours before our neighbor alerted us. Thankfully my husband was able to figure out how to shut off the water from the meter but it wasn't easy (he didn't have the key) and so it took 45 minutes.

Gary was able to come over mid-morning after hubby got up at the crack of dawn to dig a hole where he suspected the broken pipe was. GARY FIXED THE BROKEN 2 PIPE AND CHARGED US a very fair hourly rate (even on a Sunday).

We will definitely call him again if we have plumbing problems. We live in Forest Heights and he is less than 10 minutes away.

Mr. Rooter Plumbing of Portland was fabulous for our sewer replacement job. Brian gave us a quick and accurate bid and really knew what was involved for our specific situation. It was a big job with lots of equipment and workers but the care that was taken to keep our plants and yard from being damaged was incredible. The inspector was impressed with the quality of the work and gave them an A. We highly recommend them.

I had Steve out to deal with a drain at my preschool, and a week later ( two old houses!) Austin came to scope out sewer line in our 1916 home.
They were on time, on both occasions, great communication, and just very nice to deal with.
I cannot tell you how reassuring it was to have a calm competent person help, when I had 16 preschooler and a mystery leak.

I have used These guys on 3 plumbing projects, both for myself and aging parents. Each time, they did great work, on time, and with no drama.

Mike and his guys were knowledgeable about products (water heaters) and gave great advice about a tankless heater that fit the bill perfectly. All of the crew was nice to deal with, showed up on time, and left the job site clean and neat.

There was one problem-the computer gizmo that controls the new water heater went out shortly after the install. The board was replaced within a day of calling, no drama, no questions, no charge and even an apology-even though it wasn’t their fault.

Are they the cheapest? No idea, but the work was certainly priced within my expectations. They will be my first call for all future plumbing projects.

We have had a very good experience with John - he is very knowledgeable, excellent and very professional and detailed with his work.
