Best Drain Cleaning in Portland OR

We had a plumbing pipe break on the 2nd floor. Unfortunately, the water wrecked a ceiling on the 1st floor, which we had to do some sheetrock repairs too. We called Best Portland Plumbers and they came right out and fixed the plumbing issue. Their prices were fair, and the plumber got the work done very quickly. Hopefully I do not have to use them again, or it is under better circumstances. Broken pipes are no fun.

David was great! He called ahead to confirm the time, answered my questions, and got our sink drain, line, and faucet hooked up fast! His work was clean looking and solid, reasonably priced, and just what we were hoping for!

A somewhat mixed review. The electrician was late (I get it, things happen, and company notified me early in the a.m.), unfortunately this meant I was unable to stay for the electrician's later arrival and rescheduling for another day was problematic. I signed off on the original estimate to install a 220 outlet for a range, and was good with that, nothing else discussed. While the electrician was on site, the electrician made arrangements with my spouse to install the pigtail, which had I known was going to be an extra $250 upsell, I would not have agreed to. That's a lot of money for attaching 4 wires to a stove, not requiring an electrician, without contact to me. Stove is in, though, and works fine.

My initial reason for calling a plumber was a faucet replacement, but Treven had no problem with my laundry list of additional issues while he was here. He was patient answering all my questions about our aging plumbing. I had to decide how extensively he should address the older plumbing lines connecting to the sink and he gave me enough info that I felt comfortable leaving that part until a future repipe of the house. In short, he didn't insist I replace something now that will be replaced when we repipe the house in the near future. I also didn't anticipate that I could get a discount on the faucet I wanted through s specific provider until I spoke with the gal in the office to set up the appointment. Perhaps that's something most plumbers offer, but I didn't expect it and it really saved money!

We were without any plumbing at a business and previously had out two other plumbing companies, one wouldn't touch the problem and the other gave us a price that was almost $5k and involved cutting out concrete in an employee's office. Rescue Rooter/Jack Howk Portland came out and within 3 hours had the problem fixed for less than 20% of the other company's price without cutting out any concrete. Employees were very professional and informative. It has been over a week and everything is still working great. Would highly recommend Rescue Rooter/Jack Howk Portland!

Mike was courteous and very helpful explaining how to fix the issue with our disposal ourselves, if the same situation occurred again. Mike is very honest and informative. I will definitely recommend him to everyone.

We had an accumulation of relatively minor issues that needed addressing, so I wasn't sure if they could all be done in a single day. Seth managed to fix them all within a few hours. Meticulous Plumbing is indeed meticulous in their work as well as their customer service.

I scheduled the appointment over the phone and received communications via both text and e-mail. They texted me 20 minutes before Seth's arrival with a photo so there'd be no question the right person showed up. He arrived within the 1 hour window given and when he saw I was masked, he masked up before stepping inside. He explained all the work that needed to be done in a straightforward manner, gave me a comprehensive estimate, and then proceeded to do a fantastic job. When he was done working he cleaned everything up and gave me a walkthrough before I signed off on the work. I now have the paid invoice in my e-mail inbox, plus a detailed estimate on some non-urgent work I'm considering.

I'm very happy with the work done, and even happier with the excellent customer service at every stage of the process.

Had some re-plumbing done today by Tim Rowe. He did a great job at a fair price. If you're looking for an experienced plumber that does a great job, I highly recommend Tim. I'll definitely be using him again.

Do yourself a favor and read the other 1 star reviews. I don't write 1 star reviews often. And I've taken a week to really consider whether I should but I wished I would have taken the other reviews to heart and hired someone else.

I recently moved into a new place in Portland and had 2 simple tasks for a plumber. Connect a cold water line to my water filter and assemble 2 bidets to the toilets. My plumber in Seattle did these things in less than an hour and charged me $50. It was a completely different story with Detemple. Tom V took 4 hours and charged me $744!

The water filter didn't take too long but Tom said the bidets didn't fit my toilets too well. One he got to work and the other he decided to go back to the shop and find a new toilet seat and it really doesn't fit like it should but he decided he'd force it and spend 3 hours on this job.

Unfortunately, my building only allows residents to use 2 plumbing companies. The other had worse reviews so I've let them know my experience and have requested that residents be allowed to find another company with much better reviews.

Call the company for the first time a man answer the phone did not tell me the company name just said hello super standoffish I asked if he can come out to check out my home he said no he can’t I asked him if he can refer to anybody he said no and hung up on me super weird I would not recommend them
