Nigrelli plumbing was fantastic I have dealt with many plumbers in the past and have had difficulty in finding one that is dependable let alone trustworthy and one that is trying to to do what is best for the customer. And John is all of those I couldn’t be more pleased with his work and his pricing. I have finally found a plumber that I can count on!! Thanks John again for the new water service. We had an emergency on the weekend and David came by within 30 minutes of the call. He not only diagnosed the the symptoms, but was able to narrow down the bigger problem for us and our entire building. He was with us for over 3 hours and did really thorough research. He was incredibly responsive, knowledgeable, and honest. Thanks so much and I would highly recommend.

Rich and Bill have worked to fix another plumbers subpar work. Also I’ve had them install a new kitchen sink, fix a toilet and leaky old plumbing from 1955. They have both been prompt, wear shoes covers and never leave a mess. I will use them again!

Talk about awesome service! Nathan and his guys are the nicest people. Friendly, responsive, reasonable in the pricing. Krupp Whitney saved the day for us and has been absolute top-notch. We have worked with several other plumbers/plumbing companies in the North Hills area and I would never use anyone but Krupp Whitney again.

First of all folks I'm not even from Pittsburgh, but we are visiting some friends in the area. Found the site and called when my friends toilet went all nasty. Not the thing to have happen when you have guests over for the week. My friend made the call and they showed up super fast. Tried to help contain the mess before it got way out of hand (OMG that was nasty- those people have iron stomachs for sure). These guys were so professional - and they did an awesome job. They ended up having to take the whole toilet up to get a diaper out of the toilet that swelled up half way down the pipe. They cleaned up the job (too bad she couldn't convince them to do the floors while they were there) and were super friendly and professional. This is honestly my first review. I figured a business that went that far out of their way was worth doing a review. Thank you Pittsburgh Plumbing!

OUTSTANDING service! Chris is excellent with his communication and accommodating with our business schedule. He dots the i's and crosses the t's so that everything is taken care of. We are blessed that he shares his skills with a BIG smile and complete knowledge!

At this point we've yet to work together but I'm thrilled that Cindy got back to me fast and Chuck came out to look at the project as soon as he was available. Furthermore, I've not had a more productive and constructive conversation contractor yet.

Update 2/8/23: I had Proudfoot come and install another tankless water heater at our new house. Painless process, they were done within a few days of my initial request. I highly recommend these guys to anyone in need of their services.

I have nothing but good things to say about Proudfoot. They replaced our old cast iron boiler with a combi-unit that acts as both boiler and on-demand water heater, and it works great. It's more efficient, saves money on gas, and provides unlimited hot water. They also fixed some long standing issues with our plumbing. The owner Hugh Williams was straightforward, knowledgeable and honest, and clearly took a lot of pride in doing the job right. Highly recommended! I will certainly be calling up Proudfoot for any plumbing or heating issues I encounter in the future.

We received 4 inches of rain in two days and my basement floor drain clogged. Our 120 year old basement usually takes on some water during heavy rain and it's usually not a big deal because the floor is intentionally sloped toward the center drain, but because of the clog it started to pool and became a few inches deep.

Bob from the Brookline Plumber was able to make a service call the same morning I called and professionally solved the problem and cleaned out the drain and trap. Reasonably priced, too. Would use again and recommend.

I honestly wouldn't recommend this plumber. He broke the part and came back 2 weeks later saying he couldn't find the part he was looking for. We still paid for the service. Now the handle is just hanging there with the nail sticking out. That handle controls the temperature and I sometimes have to unscrew it middle of shower to get right temperature water.

They did a great job at reasonable prices, and they're nice to the annoying cats! After they updated our dryer fixtures, we had them back to do the kitchen, and now our furnace!

I was having issues with my 18-year old air conditioning unit and called John here at South Hills Plumbing & Heating and he came right out. We could have kept the older unit going, but John was able to quote me a new unit on the spot which was competitive with what we have been quoted on in the past.

John scheduled for an installation a few days later and returned with (2) other technicians to help remove the old unit and install the new one. They did a great job with cleanup and now my house is so much more cooler than it was before.
