They were good communicators, worked well, were professional and I will be delighted to use them in the future for any plumbing issues. Mike came for both visits (2 over 3 days, as planned) along with Anthony and then Noah. All 3 were great.

Steele is not only a great plumber, but he is an incredible member of the Shadyside community, always looking for ways to improve the city and neighborhood and bring people together. He installed a new toilet (and suggested a great toilet brand I never would have known about) and also helped in an emergency leaking situation. He is my go-to! Hired this company to hydro-jet my downspout runs. They communicate very well, arrived on time, and did their work correctly and efficiently. I have worked with Taggart on several occasions since becoming a homeowner of a 100+ year old home, and I am impressed every time. They have had availability that is so convenient, and the work they do is minimally invasive, professional, but most importantly, efficient.

This most recent go, I had a leak in old copper piping that had flooded out the ceiling in the floor below it. I did the old duct tape patch job to mitigate the spread, then immediately called Taggart (it was late afternoon). They had availability early the next day, and I was provided extremely useful information, suggested outcomes, current and future state suggestions, to boot. The work took maybe 2 hours, and the original leak, plus a leak I originally didn't know about were replaced cleanly, with PEX.

While I hope I don't need to call them too often, I'm always impressed when I do. Thank you, team!

Kyle Quimby was my technician. He was doing my fall air conditioning and furnace check. I had a question regarding a button on my humidifier. He took the cover off and showed me how in the summer you should turn it to summer so the humidifier doesn't flow. You only want this in the winter. He changed the filter on my furnace and suggest a combination of three items that I could choose to replace to make my furnace last longer if I wanted him to install them which I did.. He checked my Rinnai water heater and added bioOne to my humidifier. He was very thorough and professional. I have been dealing with Wahl for over 10 years and highly recommend them.,

We had water coming into our living room and called 6 plumbers who were unable to come out for various reasons. 412 Plumbing answered right away and had someone out to our house within a few short hours. Greg, the plumber who arrived, was professional and personable. He set our mind at ease regarding what happened (a flooded toilet) and what the next steps would be.

Things I particularly appreciated were that Greg put shoe covers on every time he entered our home-- this was not necessary but demonstrated respect, which I appreciated. He also had to snake our toilet, and he put the tools in a bag before heading back through our house. I'm sure this is standard procedure, but we haven't had cause for many plumbers, and I appreciated that Greg took care of our house.

At a certain point, Greg had to address something in our basement, where we had a litter of foster cat + 5 kittens. Greg was very patient and gentle as I moved the cats out of his way. At one point, the foster cat mom even walked across Greg's shoulders! Again, he was very nice to the pets.

We would definitely call 412 Plumbing in the future should we have additional plumbing needs.

Thanks guys! Rick responded to a backed up sewer that happened this morning after a call into our protection plan. They were here by mid-day, efficient, polite and got the job done. Also offered some practical advice for how we can try to avoid future issues. John in the office was empathetic and quick to help out this mom of 5 get the water flowing again!

I never write reviews but FE Johanssen & Sons is truly one of the best I've hired for any type of service work. We've called 4 times over the last year for 4 different issues and they have gone above and beyond each time. All of their employees are knowledgable, kind, and efficient. They go out of their way to explain the situation and solution clearly to us, which is immensely helpful for us as new homeowners. They are also very affordable and are still willing to wear masks in our house even in 2023.
