We needed our furnace and air conditioner tuned up, and our garbage disposal needed to be replaced. Ed K. was knowledgeable, punctual and got the job done efficiently. Our air conditioner got a complete chemical cleaning, we signed Wahl's maintenance agreement so that when they come check the furnace in the fall it'll be way cheaper than it would have been, and our new garbage disposal is so quiet it's hard to believe we lived with that old one. Thanks Ed!

We've been with Wahl for years now but today was probably our single best service call experience. Randy was our service tech and even though we had never met him, he quickly made an impression for being knowledgeable and trustworthy. If you're going with Wahl for any furnace/AC servicing I would strongly recommend requesting Randy to be your service tech. Guarantee you won't regret it. It's what we'll be doing from now on.

Wife called Wahl because A/C was not working. The tech showed up and told my wife the compressor was blown and the aluminum wire was dangerous and would not run the A/C unit and would need to run a new 220 line to support the unit for a total of $19,000. Or install a $12,000 heat pump. After tell him no I call another company they dye tested the system found the leak in the A Coil and repaired for $1,200. This company will try to up sale or take advantage of you. Call for a second opinion.

Tyler was amazing. He was so knowledgeable and gave us all the information we needed to make an informed decision. He was up front and honest about everything, making him easy to trust. He provided us with good referrals for problems he couldn’t fix himself and answered all of our questions. We will definitely be using again in the future!

Sean M in particular, with Denny S did a superb job diagnosing and repairing burst pipe after that deep freeze a month ago. He/they were polite and respectful, knowledgeable, and experienced, worked quickly, and did a great job cleaning up afterward. Job well done, fella's!

Chuck worked on relocating wiring to the water leak sensors in the pan under my home heating gas furnace. The purpose of relocating the wires was to keep them from being accidentally damaged when removing the furnace filter for cleaning. I was very pleased with the work Chuck did and the new layout is a substantial improvement.

Shawn and Denny were very professional today. They did everything they were contracted to do we have heat water and we really happy with the work.

Our AC stopped working on a hot and humid day last week. We called after hours, around 8 pm, and our technician Kyle arrived within about 30 minutes. We were amazed at the quick response and Kyle was able to quickly diagnose the problem and get it fixed. It was great to have cool air again the same night. We will continue to use Wahl since we appreciate their great customer service.

We had a new furnace & ac unit installed last year and as part of the package we receive the first year of maintenance for 'free'. Wahl called to schedule the time a week or two in advance. Then the day before they called again to confirm and gave me a 12-2pm window. The next day Curt called and said he was on his way and was it ok if he arrived at 11:45am, I said sure. He arrived and inspected the furnace first. He was very respectful and wore his shoe covers in the house. After the furnace he moved outside to the ac unit. Every time he left the house his shoe covers came off and every time he went back in they went back on. I was home with our 2yo daughter and he said hello to her and explained he has a 3yo daughter at home. We talked about them and their chocolate milk for a few minutes and he carried on with this inspection. About 45min later he was done with his inspection and said everything looked good - which I expected given it's only 1yr old. He suggested we do a few things like subscribe for a maintenance plan, have a whole house surge protector installed, etc. but as someone else stated I think they're required to try and upsell stuff. All in all Curt was very professional and I would welcome him back to our home anytime to maintain or repair our equipment.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS! I'm doing you a favor by telling you to not even waste your time with Wahl. We called a them to come look at our 4 year old furnace that was installed by them. I was getting an error code and it wouldn't kick on. I took it a part on my own and saw that the water sensor wire wasn't making a connection. I figured it's under warranty so I'll call them to fix or replace the wiring. After an hour, the technician said he was going to have to replace the whole wiring harness. It would be around $800 plus the $109 service call. I thought ok no big deal all parts are covered under the warranty. He said there is not a warranty. I said why? The whole unit is only 4 years old and Rheem gives a 10 year warranty on parts. He said since we bought the house and weren't the original owners of the furnace that it was no longer covered. WHAT? The warranty covers the unit, not the owners. So we looked over the warranty and sure enough it covers the UNIT and furthermore we looked online and it said on Rheem's website that our warranty was still active. He then said he could replace the whole furnace and buy back this one... I didn't even ask the price, I just laughed. Imagine replacing a 4 year old furnace that just has one bad wire connection. I paid him his $109 service fee went down to the furnace, spliced the wire and reseated it. Took me 30 seconds. Furnace turned right on. Crooks. These guys are crooks. DO NOT USE WAHL.

Kyle Quimby was my technician. He was doing my fall air conditioning and furnace check. I had a question regarding a button on my humidifier. He took the cover off and showed me how in the summer you should turn it to summer so the humidifier doesn't flow. You only want this in the winter. He changed the filter on my furnace and suggest a combination of three items that I could choose to replace to make my furnace last longer if I wanted him to install them which I did.. He checked my Rinnai water heater and added bioOne to my humidifier. He was very thorough and professional. I have been dealing with Wahl for over 10 years and highly recommend them.,

First Ed saved me from cold showers and a water heater about to completely die 4/12/15. He thoroughly explained the state of my current water heater and explained several different scenarios and products I could choose from and helped me set up an account on line. He came back the next day, installed the new water heater, explained how it all worked, recorded pictures of his installation for record and took care to not leave until he was satisfied that I understood everything he had done and had answered all my questions. I felt taken respected as a home owner, taken care of as a client and educated as a consumer. So I arranged another visit to service my furnace, which I'd let go. Again,Ed was thorough in his check list, took his time to document, photograph and explain everything to me. He took the time to write up an array of products and estimated costs and went through each one meticulously, so I knew exactly what I was considering. I feel completely comfortable working with Ed, and very impressed with the Wahl company in general for helpfulness, courtesy, and customer service. THANK YOU!!!! And I have recommended Wahl Family to friends already.

Great service and good price to get a new furnace ac and bigger ducts installed. Friendly people and got it done in days! We are so much cooler now. This is a great family. They really took the time to diagnose exactly what we would need and not upsell us something we didn't. They also helped answer other unrelated heating cooling questions we had, as we have just bought a new house. To highly recommend this family.

Asked them and several others for an estimate on an air purifier. Everyone else just gave me on. Wahl said that they had to charge me a $99 dispatch fee just to provide me with an estimate! But if I didn't want to spend $99 on an estimate, then I could spend $94 on an AC tune up and then at that time I would get the super secret password that would unlock my estimate! Stay away from these people. They're clearly just looking for cheap ways to fleece people.

Best plumbers in the area. After we called they got out here ASAP and their technician, Tyler Williams, was able to solve all of our problems and he was great to work with. I would highly recommend these guys to anyone!

I recently purchased a home and wanted to have some things looked at that were flagged on the inspection. Nick C came over and explained issues that were occurring, walked me through the what the issues are and how they can go about of getting all these issues resolved, as well as providing input on our dated items in the townhome. If i could give more then 5 stars i would. I really appreciate the explanation, cost breakdowns and the exceptional service i received all around from Nick and Wahl.

Aaron did an excellant job on my water pressure problem. He determined that the pressure regulator needed to replaced and did it quickly.

The team at Wahl is top notch! I recently had a Rheem tankless water heater, NUVO whole home water filtration system, Honeywell Home smart thermostat and an outdoor hose bib installed at my home, and WOW, am I impressed! Their team arrived exactly on time and worked diligently through the end of each day to complete all of this work in just 48 hours. They were friendly, knowledgeable and cleaner than I could have ever imagined. I am extremely happy with my home installation and would recommend their services to any local homeowner looking to upgrade or replace their homes equipment.

Wahl’s employees were excellent with helping with my pipe repair and water heater installation. They identified the problems quickly, and made sure to stay until the job was completed correctly. Tony, Sean, and Denny were great with the installation, and Mike G. went above and beyond to make sure our water was turned back on in a timely manner. He explained his work thoroughly. Additionally, Chris, Jared, Jake, and Denny did a wonderful job with the installation of new pipes. They worked quickly and efficiently, and they made me feel at ease with the full installation. I would highly recommend Wahl for your plumbing needs.

They tried to charge me $ 2200 to fix my air conditioner that was only six years old and under factory warranty and an extended warranty provided by them when they installed it. They told me the warranties were void because i didn't have it serviced and that was the reason it failed. I called another authorized Trane dealer they looked at the unit and told me the parts were covered I just had to pay for labor and refrigerant. The repairs were made for a total cost of $750.

Tyler and Aaron diagnosed the tub leak that could have caused extensive damage to my new kitchen ceiling below.

Everyone at Wahl was fantastic! We felt the price was reasonable. Alex, Sean and Jared installed a new furnace and air conditioning unit with extreme professionalism and efficiency. They explained everything thoroughly and ensured I had no questions before they left. They were amazing to work with. Aaron, who completed the diagnostics, reviewed all our options thoroughly and was very understanding of our hyperactive dog. Had an amazing experience with Wahl. My air conditioning broke on a Friday night while having a baby in the house during 90 degree weather. I called Saturday morning and Brad, the technician, was at my home 2 hours later. Brad was so professional. Asking if it was ok to enter my home, if doors should be closed, etc. Made me feel so comfortable. He gave me various options that I was able to pick and choose what I felt comfortable with based on my budget. So thankful they were able to make our home and baby comfortable again so quickly!

Jason and Tony did a very good job installing all new gas lines and removing all old lines including some that were no longer being used. They showed up on time and explained everything that would be done before and after they were done. Work was very professional and neatly done. Replaced main line and lines to four appliances. They all now have their own line and shut off valve. Very pleased with the work

After I had a flood had a new furnace and tankless hot water system installed but 3 weeks later was flooded again and lost the new furnace, tankless hot water tank and air conditioner condenser. All 3 replaced and put on my main floor since basement seems to be getting flooded more ofter. Have to say Alex, Sean, Jarad and Jason did a wonderful job of moving everything upstairs, installing new wiring and duct work and raising up the condenser so no water can get new it. All were there promptly every day and finished the entire job in 4 days. Looks great and they did a wonderful job. They went above and beyond to get the job done and did a great job on the cleanup too. Would highly recommend Wahl Heating to anyone who needs HAVC work done. All were polite and explained every thing they were doing.

Gave me a quote and stuck to it despite a few surprises. On time, called 20 min before appt to say encounte as I was told they would. Three man crew all courteous and pleasant. Explained any odors from new furnace install before it occurred. Went over system and maintenance (for me) to keep it clean and working with no upsell. Left area as clean or cleaner than they found it. Tested everything to ensure it worked on furnace and from thermostat. Quality team work.

GREAT GREAT GREAT! Called Wahl when a/c broke on the hottest day of the year. They sent someone over with in an hour. Unit was old so I knew I was in need of a new one. Patrick came in , investigated the problem, did measurments, recommended a few things, called Jen for price and new a/c was on it's way to me with in one hour. Bob and Jake (installers) were WONDERFUL! They treated my home with respect. Very clean workers. They worked all day until 9pm to get a/c and furnace installed. I couldn't be more happy with Wahl Family Heating, Cooling, and Plumbing. HIGHLY Recommend this company.

My air conditioning shut down of course on a Friday evening.😩. I called Saturday morning at 8 am and a service technician Nick called back within three minutes to discuss my issue. We set up a time for him to come diagnose the problem. Once here he explained the issue, showed me pictures and educated me on heating and cooling. Excellent experience. Definitely would recommend Wahl.

Tyler, Alex, Aron, Jake and Jay did a commendable job replacing the plumbings damaged/leaky drain/stack system on the second floor of the house's bathroom. They removed all the old, damaged cast iron sections and replaced it with new PVC sections.....as well as the drainage section of the bathtub and sink.... and installed 2 toilets. The 5 technicians were courteous, knowledgeable and worked very efficiently.

Chuck always does an excellent job. He is very thorough in his work. Everything is explained completely. Having Chuck to the house for service many times over the years, his familiarity with the complexity of the house is a plus.

Chris and Jason just got done replacing my tankless water heater after a rupture from the freak cold weather. They did a great job and even diagnosed an issue I was having with our furnace that day while they were working - didn’t need to but knocked it out anyway. Great service.

Today Tyrell not only provided the yearly service warranty check on my AC but discovered & corrected a problem with it & then discovered a tiny hole in the humidifier hose as well. Aside from being very knowledgeable he was also polite, personable, low key (which is best for me) & showed respect to me & my home...thorough & patient too.

All of our experiences with Wahl have been great. This time we had a leak from our shower drain, needed a new toilet, and had our sinks replaced. Jay arrived on time, was very professional and courteous, quickly got started, and did a great job on all required services. I would recommend Wahl for all plumbing needs.

Jake, Mike, and Chris did a great great job with replacing our pipes and shower/bath tub install. There was a small leak we found after they left but Wahl stated they will be coming out to fix it whenever they can.

Had a burst pipe on Christmas Day and thanks to Audri she was able to have someone at my house within a few hours. Tyler was great walking me through all of my options and getting me what I needed. Two techs who installed my new water heater, Chris and Jason were again amazing. First time with Wahl. Will never go back to them. My furnace went out last night and they could not fix it due to not making the parts anymore. They could have saved me the $125 service call by asking the model information over the phone, but instead they used the opportunity to try to sell me a high priced furnace and made me pay for the service call without diagnosing the problem. They could have easily researched the model number before coming over. Then comes the sales pitch for the high priced furnace while he is there. Instead of paying for the inflated quote of $5700 for a single stage furnace that could be installed 3 days later in the dead of winter, I called another company and have a higher efficiency 2 stage furnace being installed today for $3500. I do not appreciate trying to be taken advantage of and sold something where I do not have heat on a cold day.

Alex and Khalyl did an excellent job removing and installing a water heater. There was no mess, everything was checked, and they explained what they had done, and went over the features of the new water heater. Overall, a job well done!

On 4/3/2019, Wahl came to my home to perform requested work. The team that came was Aron & Tyler. These guys were fantastic! I had a repair to sewer stack, new laundry tub and faucet installed, kitchen sink faucet installed, a replacement water line to refrigerator, and repair to laundry chute. It was a lot of work. These guys worked wonderfully as a team - and the only evidence that they were there were the upgrades/repairs - nothing for me to clean up. Before leaving they went over everything they did, asking me if I had any questions. They left my house having made it better than when they arrived. I would recommend the professional services of Aron & Tyler.

Team Tiny (aka Sean and Denny) came out to do a two day install that included removal of an undersized furnace, coil, and AC and installation of a new Rheem 96% efficient furnace, Bosch coil and IDS Seer 20 AC, new thermostat, and modification of duct work. They were punctual, professional, took the time to explain anything and everything that I had technical questions about, and did a fantastic job all the way around. I strongly recommend Wahl for any of your needs. Aron, who came out to do the quote for the system, did a great job explaining the systems options including the pro/cons of each. Can’t say enough good things about Wahl. My first interaction with them was 8 years ago when I had a furnace installed and they were nothing but friendly, clean, and professional. When I had an issue with my heat and ac not working they took great care of me. Nick Calabrese was AWESOME. He walked me through the issue, checked out my entire system and gave me great recommendations with no pressure just all the options for keeping my systems in working order.
I opted to have my 20 year old AC unit and water heater replaced. Wahl was there the NEXT DAY to start that work. Jason Warner and Don Bryan were my install team and they were amazing as well. Friendly, thorough, and professional which is obviously indicative of the kind of people Wahl employs.
I will 100% recommend Wahl and their teams to anyone. All of their people I have worked with are trained, friendly, and trustworthy professionals. I had my gas lines replaced. Sean and Denny explained everything they were going to do and did a wonderful job. I'm impressed with their work.

Air conditioner service appointment, very thorough, found leaks in gas line and was able to schedule repairs for the next day. I was kept up to date during the entire process and pricing was up front and honest. The staff was very friendly and the work done was excellent. Very cool: dealing with the folks at Wahl.

EVERYONE that we dealt with, whether on the phone or in person, was friendly, competent and understood the importance of getting our issues addressed quickly. Tyler and Brad were our emergency responders. Both arrived within 30 minutes of me calling and didn’t make me feel like they were in a rush to get home. They explained EVERYTHING thoroughly and made sure we understood. Tony and Alex were our installers for two days. Again, they checked in consistently, explained everything with our new systems and again made sure that we fully understood. 2020 has not been great and this could have been a terrible experience with a different company. THANK YOU for making this as painless as possible and for being a great example of professionalism and skill!

I highly recommend Wahl family heating cooling & plumbing. Tyler Williams did plumbing work for my husband and I and we were very impressed with his work ethic and how great of a job he did! Great company!

Don’t not call these people! They told us our furnace was not under warranty since we did not purchase the furnace but bought the home with a relatively new furnace (2 years old). They wanted $1000 dollars to replace a faulty wire. Called Rheem today, they verified that the furnace is still under warranty. Wahl was not being truthful. Please verify anything these people tell you.

We had extensive work done the week of 12 June, by Tony, Don, Jason, Marcell. They showed up on time and did a very professional job, including small extras like a general gas cutoff valve.

I will highly recommend Wahl heating and cooling to everyóñe! They are extremely courteous, prompt, and efficient. My hot water heater was leaking so I called and got SAME DAY service! I recently hired Walh to work on several issue related to HVAC and plumbing. This is for my rental property that I keep in excellent repair. My tenants are my priority. So, Nick came out with in 2 hours of my first call. After inspection, he called and gave me several repair options to choose from. He was very professional, transparent and efficient. The work was top notch and they are now my go to for heating and plumbing. Ask for Nick when requesting service!

Seventeen years ago, Wahl replaced our ancient furnace with a new furnace and air conditioner unit. Since then, the systems were serviced twice a year. During that time every technician that came was very professional, highly knowledgeable of their product and very friendly. As the system aged and repairs were necessary, they clearly explained what work was needed and why. I especially want to thank Patrick for his service for about the last four years. Just recently Aron came to service the furnace. He showed me several areas within the furnace that were rusting and that the secondary heat exchanger was cracked causing a dangerous situation. He gave me three quotes for a new system and explained the differences. I was not pressured in any way. He just said that it was time for a new system. He said that two of the systems would require two days for installation. Since it was February, I was concerned about not having heat for two days. Aron explained that they would provide space heaters if necessary. Due to the very positive experience, I have had over the years with all of Wahl's employees, I decided not to look anywhere else. I called the Wahl headquarters on a Friday and talked to Audri. She was very friendly and helpful setting up an appointment for the new system to be installed on the following Monday. Jake, Jason and Sean arrived promptly at 8:00am. Following all COVID 19 precautions. they introduced themselves and began working immediately. They actually had the furnace installed and up and running before they left on day one, so we had heat that evening. They kept me informed during the day as to how the installation was progressing. The next day they finished the installation and testing of both units. They went over the unit and explained the operation of the furnace and humidifier and how to change the air filter and answered any questions I had. These three guys were as professional, knowledgeable and friendly as every other Wahl employee than I have met. I want to thank the Wahl team for their quick response.

Just had Chuck Fievet from Wahl out to check on some water heater issues. Looks like everything is good and no charge!

Steve was just at my house for yearly maintenance check. My furnace is only 1 year old, I did have minor flooding in my basement so I was worried about some damage. Before he even tells me what is wrong with my furnace he’s giving me quotes from 3500-8500 to raise my furnace and/or replace it with a new furnace or add AC. I had to ask for the price just to repair my furnace and I’ll take my chances with future flooding. He replaced the control board and said it still need a gas valve and blower motor which would cost almost as much as replacing the furnace. He told me none of this was covered in my warranty. I said I wanted to think about it. I just went down and turned the gas valve on and now my furnace works and he claimed he couldn’t get the heat on. I should have checked to see if the furnace worked before he came but thought it was better to get checked over.

Well satisfied with all involved, from Brad who initiated the installation of the AC to Alex and Sean who actually did the install. Their work was well done in a timely, pleasant and professional manner. Would recommend this company to any seeking heating or cooling services

Nick explained everything very well and was very professional. It can be difficult deciding what is the best option when you aren’t familiar with HVAC in the slightest, but he put everything into terms that were easy to understand and allowed me to make the best decision for me and my home. When it came time for the new equipment to be installed, Tony, Jared, and Jake could not have done a better job. It’s like night and day in my home now temperature wise and I couldn’t be happier with the results. I would absolutely recommend using Wahl if you are in need of a quality company to help with any of your HVAC needs.

I had a wonderful overall experience with this company ! I had never used them before and was hesitant . The last company I used sent me a technician that could not answer my questions . Randy arrived promptly on time. Listened to my description of the problem and immediately went to work testing the plumbing system of the house to pinpoint exactly where the problem was..he was very courteous & professional and took care to wear shoe coverings so as not to track in dirt on the freshly cleaned carpeting. Very thorough and explained everything and put it all in writing.

Senior tech Nick C. is awesome! Very knowledgeable and personable. Bob, Corey, and Justin were very efficient with the installation. Couldn’t ask for a better crew!

Had my HVAC outside units reinstalled because of foundation work that was done to my house. Jake, Chris and Jason did an outstanding job on the reinstall. They were clean, neat, efficient and polite! Great team.

The Wahl team is an amazing group of plumbers, but more importantly great people. I recently had a major plumbing problem. Tyler W. went above, and beyond working till 930 one night making sure all basis were covered. The insurance and home warranty were kept in the loop every step of the way. He reach out to his boss to make sure they could start Thursday, and have plumbing restored to our home by the weekend and they delivered!! Thank you to each and everyone off you for going above and beyond the job!

My hot water tank stopped working. I contacted Wahl as they were in my neighborhood. The tech arrived and quickly diagnosed the problem and informed me that the parts needed to repair my water heater were on backorder and they are not expected to be in for over six months. He went on to explain that my water tank could be replaced at a cost of over $8000.00 or I could get a tankless heater for $7500.00! Thinking this was an outrageous amount to pay, I told him I need to think this over and he promptly charged me $109.00 for a service call. I went on to contact Roto Rooter who gave me free estimate and charged me $3900.00 to replace my water heater the very next day. Roto Rooter also gave me a $100.00 discount for donating two canned goods to their food drive. This helped make up the cost of the mistake of contacting Wahl.

We had not heat. New boiler system shut off at 10:53 pm. Nik arrived at 12pm fixed the issue. Very nice. Zone one is not working properly put in a service request for Monday or Tuesday next week

Furnace broke down on a below-freezing day. Wahl came out the next day with a great new furnace and tankless water heater. Jake, Jared, Chris were the techs and they did a great job. Customer service was truly A+. Good contractors are hard to find. We're so glad we went with these guys.

We had a wonderful experience with Pat who was very informative and easily answered all of our questions. He was on time and efficient making sure to keep us updated on where he was going in our house and what he was doing next. We will be requesting him to come back in the future!

We called a few other companies to come fix our AC and no one was able to fix it. Nick was great and professional and we will be asking for him in the future for all maintenance calls.

Installed a nuvo water softener and surge protection for water heater. Super quick and professional during the entire appointment.

When I bought my house, the heating cooling unit was under warranty by Wahl Heating and Cooling. I was able to transfer the 10 year warranty to my name for a low fee. I once had my heating stop working and they came out that day to fix it. They also have a text service with appointment reminders and give you a call when they are on their way over. I haven't had any bad experiences with the maintenance crew. My more recent maintenance crew contacts were Mike and Nick, who were very pleasant to deal with. They do sometimes have a cleaning or product to sell, but they do not pressure you on it or spend much time trying to sell you on it, which I appreciate. I would recommend them.

Chuck did an excellent job and was very informative; he took the time to explain everything in layman’s term. He performed a comprehensive check of my heating system just as advertised and his customer service represented his company in the highest degree.

I would definitely recommend WAHL Family Heating, Cooling & Plumbing. From the CSR, Audrey, to the salesman that sold us the unit, Aron, and all that installed our new furnace, Sean, Jake, Mike, Tony and Jared, they were all incredibly professional. They were pleasant, prompt, hard working and very informative. There were no surprises. We were given written choices on how to solve the problem and they finished the job on time. Everything is working great.

Very disappointed with my recent service call with Wahl. They charged $99 to diagnose a leak in my AC unit, and I was then quoted $2,500 to de-ice, clean and recharge the unit with leak seal. I opted to let the ice thaw overnight, and they still wanted to charge me $2,000 for a cleaning and recharge. The technician also pushed hard for a completely new unit for $13,000.

I called another major company - they cleaned and recharged the unit with leak seal for $565.

I had my unit installed by Wahl years ago, but something has changed and I will never call them again. The technician talked very quickly and gave me inflated quote. I feel they were trying to take advantage of me. I see from reading other reviews that my experience is not uncommon.

Our air conditioner broke down the night before a big party at our house... I called another company and they made me feel like I was really putting them out to put in an emergency call. I called Wahl, and I got an immediate response. Chuck F was extremely friendly on the phone, came out right away. He was very thorough and what I liked most is that he explained everything in detail, but in a way I could understand (I'm not at all familiar with air conditioners or furnaces). I was extremely pleased and plan to use Wahl for everything in the future.

Authorized a $109 service call. Tech came out gave me an $18,000 quote and never even tried to fix the issue. I refused service. Checked my account they charged me $954 and never performed the work. I have called several times to get it resolved.. NO RESPONSE. Had a local handyman come out they snaked out the drain for $400 and fixed the issue.

STAY AWAY!!! SCAMMERS!!!

Mike & Bob installed our new air conditioning/heating system & did a beautiful job! Not only did they do an awesome job installing the system, but they were genuinely nice people. It's so refreshing when someone goes out of their way to start a conversation & be friendly! Highly recommend them!

The service was very friendly, courteous, explained what he was doing and what he did and answered my questions very thoroughly.

Needed a blower fan on my furnace replaced, Wahl was going to charge $576 plus the $99 diagnostic fee, for a total of $675. That was just the quoted cost of labor, since the fan was still under warranty. When asked how much the fan was, I was told about $800.
Luckily I did my research beforehand, and found the fan priced online for about $150. Ended up getting the entire repair for a final cost of $179 from an honest local company, who refunded me the $150 actual cost of part since it was in warranty. Wahl was going to charge $675 for labor, and said the part would have been an additional $800, had it not been under warranty. That could have been almost $1500!! The furnace is able to be purchased for $995 online!! That is right, this repair could have cost me $500 more than the cost of a brand new furnace. Please do your due diligence in research before dealing with any company, especially this one.

He gave excellent advice on my old water heater, guiding me on how to replace it. I would like to have him come back to service my Furnace and Air Conditioning systems.

Nick Calabrese checked on Tuesday 2/14 our furnace we had installed last year by Wahl and gave me some tips on what maintenance that I can do. Nick was very helpful and answered my questions. Then on Thursday Jay Mowery came to fixed some plumbing and install a new toilet. He was great at the work he had to do - some areas gave him a problem but he was able to take care of it. He too answered any questions I had. Thanks Nick and Jay.

I am very happy with Wahl Plumbing. Tyler Williams has been to our house at least three or four times and has done truly excellent work. We had a water treatment unit from NUVO H2O installed by a different plumber and it was put in backwards and in a very difficult way to use, and it was resting and putting pressure on the pressure regulator, which should never be the case for obvious reasons. Tyler and his coworker Jay reinstalled it and did a beautiful job as you see in these photos. Tyler has also changed out two shower cartridges from behind the wall to fix a low flow problem in one and steady drip in the other, tested and reset our psi, water, pressure, fixed a bathroom faucet issue, changed out a toilet flap that went bad, and more. Tyler is very talented, very trustworthy, and efficient.

I had wahl install my furnace 2 years ago. Everything was going fine up till now when the pump wasn't functioning properly. I told them the line was clogged. I did exactly what they said and put vinegar in cleaning tube once a month but it still got clogged. Water was over flowing out of the reservoir onto the floor. There's a 10 year warranty on my furnace I thought that meant the pump as well he said no. It was a year for pump. I didn't like the way the pump was installed . The line stretched about 12 feet across the ceiling to my laundry tub. Which made the pump work twice as hard to drain the water and it wore out the pump quicker.. there was a sewer drain about 2 feet from furnace the line could've drained into . Anyway when I called he told me the cost I argued it should have been warranted under furnace installation. He said no if I didn't want to pay for the call pour draino in cleaning line to unclog line. Then hung up on me. P.s. the furnace doesn't function without the pump. It also seems pointless to complain because they don't give a damn. they got almost 5 grand for a furnace installation from me. Should've explored my options more but furnace died mid December. Took 2 days to install.

If I could give Patrick Zebroski with Wahl Plumbing more than five stars I would. He went above and beyond for our condo unit and we cannot thank him enough for his fantastic service. I will definitely be using Wahl more because of him. Thank you Patrick!

Kyle came to do scheduled maintenance on our AC unit. Unfortunately he found some serious problems with a few pipes that were leaking gas. Thanks to him I will be getting this problem addressed ASAP. I think Kyle is a great technician who doesn’t cut corners and knows what he is doing. I would definitely recommend WAHL and if you can request Kyle to come check out your unit you will be very satisfied with the service. I know when my next scheduled service comes up I will ask if Kyle is available. Thanks again Kyle and thanks to WAHL.

Tyler came out for my free plumbing consultation. He checked all of my faucets and drains to make sure nothing was backing up or causing problems. I knew I needed a new hot water tank but he explained why and my options for replacing it very thoroughly. I scheduled for a new water tank to be installed and he is going to fix my leaky kitchen sink, too! As always, I was very happy with my Wahl experience!

Your employee, Chris H., recently completed extensive plumbing repairs for my parents, Dot and Ray Dorazio. They were very satisfied with his work and explanation of each repair project completed at their residence. They felt obliged to advise of this and their plans to recommend Chris to others.

After our original hvac system needed to be replaced, we went back to Wahl to do all the work. Mike, Mike, Jason, and Tony did the installation perfectly and professionally. We were very happy with all the work they did and in a timely and efficient manor.
Fast forward 4 months and our AC stopped working. Brian and Brad came out and diagnosed a couple very serious issues. Jason, Bob, Chris and Alex were the crew who came out the 2nd time and did the work for the new systems. Excellent job and also friendly and professional. While fighting with our insurance company, David Wahl also reached out to offer any help we needed.
This is a very professional and family run business who care about their clients. We’ve been with Wahl for almost 20 years and have been nothing but very happy and satisfied.

I have had Wahl technicians in my home five times in the past year. My home is 100 years old and many of my recent upgrades are way past due. I had Wahl install a new AC, thermostat, and furnace last year. This year, they have replaced all the gas lines in my home and installed a tankless hot water heater. I can’t say enough good things about the technicians who completed our install, Sean and Tony were hard working and professional. They put in many long hours in my basement for two days performing the upgrades and were always kind and happy to explain the work they completed in a way that I can understand. Additionally, they were happy to give me tips on how I can better care for my new tankless hot water heater. From the start of the job through clean up at the end, they did an excellent job. I am happy with my experiences with Wahl!

I would highly recommend to never invite this company into your home. We have recently been having issues with our boiler .We have had another company come in but nothing was working . Our landlord, who also happens to be family of ours, had heard of this company through some promotion from Home Depot and decided to give them a try . The technician, Steve, showed up, and immediately started on selling a new boiler. That the old one was corroded, not piped properly, had the wrong tank on it, and the one pump was too small even though the other pump was identical .That was with in just walking into the boiler room 30 seconds at most, not even doing a formal inspection . At this point my husband came home and joined the landlords and technician's conversation . (He was home with in 5 minutes of the tech arriving.) They were discussing a new boiler system and any travel expenses. The technician says they are flat rates, no travels expenses, and that a new boiler would be between $5,000-$10,000 but normally it is somewhere in the middle . So the landlord asks, at the top end of $10,000, there are no additional fees, no add on? He stated there was a combo unit that would include the water heater and that might be a little more . But once again he assures us that is the flat rate, includes everything, new unit, new piping, and new valves....etc, complete package, out the door. We ask how long we have to make this decision . He says we lose the $89 service charge to be credited if we didn't make the decision today and the promotion ended at the end of the month . But he offered to go out and let us talk about it for a few minutes . That should have been our first red flag . We decide to go ahead with the new unit. He comes back in and says that combo unit would be almost $20,000 (whoa) and the new boiler would be $12,000+ .Ok so we are already above the $10,000 max that he has given us . But yet we still listened to what he had to say and he said that the $12,000 would be a brand new unit and thermostats, everything we needed. Suddenly he presented an agreement w/options the landlord was to sign as we agreed on the new unit no combo . He went back out to schedule for the next day. He comes back in a third time and says we have run into a minor change that needs to be made. We have to include a zone module and that is additional $2,200 . So now we have went from $10,000 to $12,000 to $15,000 .close to the price that he had given us for a new unit combo . Now as a family and potential customer we are concerned. My husband starts asking more in depth questions. Because as a potential customer we have the right to understand . This technician is becoming more hostile with each question . At one point he even raises his voice to my husband, who flat out tells him you will not disrespect me in my home and raise your voice at me . I was asking questions that you are not able to answer and that concerns me . The landlord at this time says she is no longer comfortable with in going forward . The technician asks why . If it a price issue then we will always be where we are . The problem was not the price itself .It was the shady and underhanded dealings that was happening with each passing minute this technician was in our home. He presents a form for the landlord to sign, which she couldn't read due to his handwriting, so she asks him to read it . This overview stated the owners didn't want to do away with the zones in the house and some other completely fabricated BS, and in mid conversation he looks at my husband, visibly agitated and ANGRY and has the audacity to ask why he had been so rude to him the entire time he was there. (wait, what)? Let me assure you he had not been rude quite frankly was handling this technician far better than most would. That was it . My husband told him to get his things and get out of our house . Which the technician YELLS I'm not leaving until I'm done . Oh but he was. I would not feel comfortable having this man, or a company he represents, in anyone's home, let alone mine ever again .

I have been a Wahl customer for about five years and will continue going back to them for all of my HVAC needs. All of the technicians and office staff I have worked with are incredibly knowledgeable, helpful, honest, and responsive. Brad in particular has been a pleasure to work with. He came to our house for an emergency service call, identified a number of safety issues, and stayed well after business hours to correct them. Brad also took photos and videos of everything he found and shared them with us. It can be very hard to find contractors or technicians you can trust, but we are so happy to know we have found one in Brad and the rest of the team at Wahl. They charged $109 to show up and run a diagnostic. Ok I get it. you're a business. But they gave us 3 options to replace our water heater.

All three options were $4.2k+ if we had to finance it. If we paid cash it would save us $600.

Highway robbery. I got 3 other quotes. The most expensive one was $2.2k.

I can't believe they do this to homeowners. I'd give them 0 stars for trying to take advantage of us.

This was my first time with Wahl heating and cooling. Spoke with Maggie on the phone. She was very courteous. My technician was Aron. He called to let me know he was on his way. When he got to the house and did a thorough examination of my fireplace, he explained everything to me and in detail that I could understand. unfortunately I had an old gas fireplace that was not installed properly and not vented properly and would have to be totally replaced. But Aaron worked on other solutions possibly to help me. Before he left, he checked all my gas hook ups and found a gas leak which I didn’t even know I had. Very pleased with Wahl and would definitely call them again.

Brad, Nichole, & Wendy were each helpful; personable and professional. All my questions were answered and my problems were explained and solved. I had a visit between Christmas and new year for annual furnace check. All went well until they did a check for gas leaks , they found one and were able to schedule a team to come the next day and do a total upgrade of the gas lines to all my gas appliances. They got in, got it done in one day with state of the art gas lines and connectors.

Absolutely awful! My fiancé and I had a brand new air conditioning unit installed from Wahl in the spring. We were so happy with their service. With this purchase, it came with a “free” furnace tune-up in the winter. Once the weather broke we got call after call to schedule this tune-up. My furnace is only 8 years old, but i figured “it’s free, why not?”. A technician from Wahl came on Friday and used every scare- tactic possible and almost conned us into buying a new furnace. First off, they informed us the heat exchange had a large crack and it was leaking CO into the house. He stated the reading was “off the charts” upon entering the home! (We have cats with tiny lungs and this was truly terrifying). We informed him of the age of the unit, assuming this could be covered under some type of warranty. After spending some time in his truck, he came back into the home with a quote, and more fear. He told us the furnace was under limited warranty and that it would cost $3500 to fix and only $4500 for a new unit. Right before Christmas this is just what we wanted to hear! This man was also very strange, mentioning that you can google his diagnosis and it might say it’s a scam, but he then said if we had anyone else come they will tell us the same thing. He tried to scare a young girl into making a big financial decision. Wahls ethical practices are disgusting. After having to dig around since Wahl covered the name of the individual that initially installed the furnace, he came out to assess today. Our second opinion informed us that the issue we have is minor and that the meter reading was only 1 ppm… which is truly nothing. He also informed us that it is FULLY COVERED UNDER WARRANTY.

Bottom line.. don’t trust these crooks. Get a second opinion from someone who has own their own HVAC company for years and won’t try to rob you blind. So terribly disappointed in this. But so grateful for Ed Drudy at Drudy Heating and Cooling for coming to our rescue from Goliath. DON’T TRUST WAHL!!!!

Our water heater was malfunctioning and Nick came same-day to assess the situation and propose some solutions. Aron checked my AC and cleaned the unit on 7.21.21. More importantly, he found a gas leak in my garage, which saved myself and my family from any harm.
Aaron came back on 7.28.21 and installed a back up sump pump with alarm and also correctly installed the gas line to the gas grill. He worked hard all day! Thank you Aron for all of your hard work!!!

I just had a new hot water tank installed, along with a humidifier and Rme Halo air purifier. Rob, Alex and Mike were very professional during the installation and extremely thorough in explaining the details of the work. I highly recommend! I also loved Chuck, the service tech!

Let me tell you, this small business was absolutely amazing!! Best customer service we have ever had when it comes to contractors. I purchased the package to have my furnace and ac “tune up” which was a great deal paying for that than paying for them separately. They will come back in the spring to do the ac unit tune up. Brad the technician showed up and was very friendly! Came in went to work and I decided to hang out with him to see what he was doing. Very knowledgeable and explained things that I didn’t know about my own furnace lol. After his “tune up” he said us 30% on our gas he said because the pressure changes coming in over time and the furnace was just burning extra wasted gas which is a huge savings!!! He went over so much and TOOK HIS TIME to actually explain things and not just get in, get out, and make money. The biggest part of this is he found a problem that wasn’t even part of the service and that was our water heater venting. Long story short the venting stack was not working correctly with the water heater so he took the time to make detailed quotes for me and helped explain them! I felt like he went above and beyond any expectations any person could have. Very impressed and know who will be coming to my home from now on. It’s hard to find in this day of age a company that will give quality work, friendliness, and not take your wallet. Small business for the win!!

We had our entire AC Unit fail over 4th of July weekend. Brad came first to help us understand the problem, and was very knowledgeable and thorough. He took the time to explain everything. Sean specifically explained everything in a way that made sense and he was an excellent communicator. I have been a Wahl customer for a few years now and I am very grateful for there quick response to an issue with my home. On my routine inspection of my furnace they discovered not one but 4 separate gas leaks from old pipes in my house.
They set me up for a very speedy repair today.
I want to thank Jacob, Chris and Corey for making the necessary repairs, explaining each step and completing my service in one day. I give all of them a 5 star rating. They were very warm and friendly and I know and feel safer that these repairs were made.

Wahl's service is excellent. I had Chuck as the service tech and he was efficient, courteous and explained in terms I could understand what he was doing and what would be needed in the future. I would recommend Wahl to anyone needing service.

He changed the batteries in our thermastat changed the filter in our heating unit for us, and was on his way. We appreciate Wahl's professionalism, they set the appointment, call a day or two in advance as a reminder, call when they are on their way and let you know the approximate arrival time. They also are well trained on the repair and upkeep of our Trane Unit as well as many others. We would recommend Wahl and Chuck F to our family and friends.

Wahl installed a beautiful tankless water heater that serves as both a boiler and hot water heater at our house. Just look at the pictures! Aron from Wahl took a look at our 16-year old boiler which has 2 (of 4) malfunctioning zone valves, two leaking pipes we’d been delaying in fixing, and was in need of a new expansion tank. He checked for gas leaks. He quoted us several choices: repair just the existing problems OR replace our 16-year old Lars mini therm boiler and 20-year hot water heater with a NEW tankless water heater. The replacement would have the added bonus of giving us back 20+ square ft of floor space in our small basement. Well, we went with the replacement option because both the boiler and water heater were on the older side, and it didn’t make sense to just put a band aid on it. While replacement wasn’t the cheapest option, we are well pleased! Sean, Denny B, Denny S, and Tony did a lovely job. Not only did they figure out how to lay out our system (it is like a puzzle to make it all work and the final product is truly a work of art), they also were super respectful of our house putting down a drop cloths through our kitchen, being super careful carrying in ~100 ft of copper pipe (in 10’ pieces not all in one go), and hauling out the heavy old boiler and hot water heater. I’ve tried to maneuver a 2x4 through the kitchen and down the basement stairs, and it is HARD! They were so careful not to bang anything into our kitchen cabinets. Sean did a lovely job communicating with us. He called each morning to let us know they were on their way. He told told us what to expect (like when we would lose hot water or when they would be flipping a circuit breaker). He tried to minimize the disruption to our lives by ensuring we didn’t lose our water except for short periods and only one evening we were without hot water—and we were told about this a day in advance. Our house is now warm and toasty. Our hot water for showering, laundry etc is limitless. Our basement has more usable space and is more beautiful. The install took 3 guys 3 days and Wahl backs their work (parts and labor) for 5 years. Wahl’s work is high quality and beautiful. And you get what you pay for. I love it that Wahl takes pride in a job done right: “Meeting or exceeding code” and made to last for years. We are happy.

I'm editing my review from last night, as I just got another inspection and quote. They tried to incentivize me to sign a deal that night because they were trying to sell at very non-competitive prices. The techs that were at my house were still really nice guys. I'd just encourage any buyer to get another opinion an estimate before making any purchase decision. The part in question was actually still under warranty by Trane and cut a 0 off the end of my total expense.

We were referred to the company through Home Depot and weren't sure what to expect as they are located a decent distance from us. We were impressed by the thoroughness and thoughtfulness of the person who came out to give us an estimate. He was friendly and kind, sending a giftbag the day the system was installed that even had cat treats for our kitties.
Our project took two days and they made sure we had heat on day one before coming back to install the rest of the machinery on day two. The team was friendly and efficient.
We got a number of estimates for this project and theirs was more expensive than others, but we are happy with the product, the timeliness of the install and the service we received. They were very helpful. New system is working well and I would recommend a whole house humidifier! It works wonders!

We have been using Wahl Family Heating & Cooling since we purchased our house in 2015. We have never had a single concern with the technicians they have sent to our home or the service they provided. We highly recommend them.

Pat came out to my house and was being shadowed by Nick. Both were incredibly knowledgeable and professional. I couldn't have been more impressed with their level of expertise. They took great care to put HVAC language into laymen's terms. I wouldn't even think twice about using Wahl again.

Had my prepaid service done today and Stephen Grimenstein was on time, professional and informative. Will definitely be renewing my biannual prepaid service.

Wahl Heating and Cooling is a very professional company. The Gentlemen did a fine job in installing a furnace and AC for the home. Everything was explained in a professional manner as well. No clean up was necessary afterwards.

I have had such dissatisfaction in the 3 weeks that BobL has been here installing a funace/ac unit. He either could not handle the intricacies of a big system/big house or my elderlly mother received 2 Lemons!!!! I say fix it!! Three service men have been here in the last three weeks and are baffled as to how to fix the problem.
I cannot believe this disservice from Wahl where my mother has been dealing with them for 20 years. They talked her into new units which she agreed and we have no
service from either unti!! I am a baby boomer, so fellow baby boomers watch out for your elderly parents.

I am hoping that this matter gets settled .... soon. Or, I will take further action.

Sean, Denny, and Corey were a great team: organized, thorough, responsible, and always open to the slightest of questions. They installed both a new furnace and a tankless water heater in a day and a half, and the work was efficient and the time well spent. And Chuck, who first spoke to us of the need for the new equipment, was very open, incredibly patient with our many questions, and always willing to explain to us more. All in all, a fine job was done by everyone.

SCAM City. I have been in plumbing for a decade and hired many companies when I was unavailable to work on my own properties. This company is an intentional scam. They have no desire to fix the problem. The will charge you to show up, then charge another fee to give an estimate, then charge another fee to literally do nothing but stick the smallest wire snake in your toilet they got from the dollar store, and then finally let you it will be more expensive to fix a clogged toilet then another company would actually charge to redo your entire bathroom.

Jared,Denny, and Sean did an excellent job installing our new A/Cunit and furnace. Very professional and neat. I was glad to have them in my home. Aron was also very professional and informative in providing our estimate.

From the first call I made to schedule a service call because I needed a new hot water tank to the install, my experience was amazing. Nicole assisted with scheduling my service call. Chuck was the technician that came to my home to review and diagnose my current system. Chuck went over all my needs and explained everything in detail. Next, I scheduled the install appointment. Tyler called me with a 20 minute call that they were on their way. After meeting Tyler and Tyrell, they got right to work on the install. When they were done, they explained my new equipment to me. I am very please with everyone at Wahl and would highly recommend them!!

Brad came by to do the annual check on AC unit. Very thorough and explained in detail.
Also answered all my questions, even questions I had that his answers led to. Great guy A++++

Jason, Jared and Aron did a great job installing a new water heater as well as repairing parts in our showers. They showed up on time and were able to solve all issues and complete the tasks professionally.

I called this company for Install a Tharmostat in my home. They scheduled me for a service call for $49 dollars Instead of their $109 dollars flat rate for diagnosing. I told them that I’m not going to pay any diognosis fee because I don’t have any problem with my hVec . So the negotiate with me a price for Installation of my smart Tharmostat $150 dollars. Tech went to my home and called and over the phone he took my credit card information and charged $199.00 dollars before even see my furnace, and later informed me that he is not able to install the smart Tharmostat because it’s not compatible with my furnace and also he is not able to hook up my old Tharmostat because my furnace control board broke as his statement. And now I have to pay $1296 dollars then he will change my control board and hook up my old thermostat. So I said no because I don’t wants to spend that much money for this Job. So tech said he will refund my money because he didn’t perform any job at all. Today 05/30/2023 I hired another company to fix the problem. They came and work 30 min to hook up my old thermostat and guess what boom it’s up and running $90 dollars . Shame on you guys !!! Didn’t diagnose any issues and advised me to change my control board at $1296. Don’t ripped peoples hard working money. And also I didn’t get my money back yet.

We had a 13 year old carrier furnace and AC.
That never could keep our house cold enough.
Sean and Jared installed a new Rheem furnace and Bosch AC.
Our house is CHILLY now! That Bosch AC is sooo quiet and it works better than ever.

Knowing a service tech was coming I went out and put extra salt on my driveway to make sure there would be no problem he could make it up the driveway. He pulled up and called me and told me my driveway was a complete sheet of ice and he could not make it up driveway. Mind you he never even stepped out of van. He said if I put more salt down he would come back in an hour or so. More salt?? There was NO ice to melt! Pass on this company and call someone who actually wants to work. They explain things to you and your staff is very friendly over the years. I’ve had different text come out, but a check is definitely one of my favorites. I highly recommend all heating and cooling, and I will definitely be using them in the future.

Our experience with Wahl while fixing up our Lawrenceville row house has been nothing short of excellent.

From the assessment and advice of Aaron to the crews who replaced our furnace, installed an a/c, replaced gas lines, and installed mini splits on our third floor—Jake, Jason, Sean, Bob (and others Im sure I’m forgetting), everyone has been courteous, knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with.

The crews arrived early each day, worked hard, and left our house looking clean when they left. And when we ran into a snag during install, the whole team rallied to make things right with personal follow up from David and Jennifer to ensure we could move in on time.

VERY disappointed with this organization. They use deceptive techniques to schedule appointments to charge additional fees. They have a convenience charge to increase their fees. $300 to simply replace two air filters!
Don't believe their ads. Finally they leave you with 3 pages of written services and products you need costing THOUSANDS of dollars.
They have done this to us three times now. Never again.

Jacob and Jared were except. They were friendly and professional and most importantly competent. With an old boiler it’s not everywhere you can find people knowledgeable enough to work on them. With in moments a calling for an emergency estimate we had someone at my house to give an estimate and options for a plan of action and about as quickly were able to have a team come to make the repairs. Before they left Jacob and Jared made sure I knew how to keep an eye on things and make sure it continues to function as it should.

Aron was exceptional. He explained everything and performed necessary repairs.

Had a great experience with these guys! We had a leaky water heater that needed to be replaced - a leaky valve meant we had NO WATER at all until it could get fixed… they came the next day! Tyler came out same day to do our initial assessment and helped us with that faulty valve, and Jay and Antonio came out the next day to do the replacement. They were so great, quick, efficient, friendly. In and out, now I can take a hot shower!

This is the third time Wahl has come and performed repairs or maintanence on my heating and cooling system, They are always very professional and honest. I would definitely recommend them.

Corey, Chris and Bob came to replace the aging and broken HVAC heat pump system in our condo. They were on time, communicative, professional, clean, and very competent. They removed the old unit and installed a new unit over 2 days. It was a seamless and actually enjoyable experience. The company moved heaven and earth to find the unit they installed as with other vendors the wait would have been many weeks or months. John Wahl found a unit anyway and within a few days had secured it, and promptly scheduled installation with the above-mentioned technicians. All in all, a great experience, and I can say so because over 40 years I have had many HVAC experiences in multiple residences. This was the best by FAR!!

I had a Halo air filtration system installed, a surge protector installed and changed the location of the filter to prevent mold from forming on the filter. I am very pleased so far.

Nick is very helpful and friendly and treats us fairly. He is not pushy and listens to what we are comfortable doing or not doing. He is always on time and considerate.

We had officially lived in our new home for a total of 24 hours when WAHL's tech Aron came to our door to do a routine HVAC review of our home. We fully expected the it's old but run it till it stops conversation. Instead we were advised that there was a very serious leak in our water heater, and that putting any money toward our AC would be wasted effort on our funds, and time. Aron kindly drafted 5 different options for us to choose from and then guided us through each one. He made the decision easy, then Sean and Denny showed up Monday morning 8 AM on the dot to start doing the necessary work to make our home safe and more efficient. No one likes surprise repairs or money they have to spend suddenly on their home, but Sean, Denny, and Aron made the process feel hassle-free and easy. I am extremely impressed by their professionalism and work ethic, they said it'd take 2 days and it really took just 2 days to fix what I thought could have been weeks of back and forth slowness.

Our first contact was Jay Mowery, wow what a guy. Jay was at our house within about 60 minutes from my phone call to WAHL. He was AWESOME. Jay took the time to answer all my questions, explained pros and cons of each of our options. He was very friendly and professional. The installers Jason Warner and Don Bryan were equally awesome. Jason explained all the valves and knobs, and maintenance schedule as did Jay. They both were very friendly and professional and respectful of our home. Would absolutely recommend WAHL Heating Cooling and Plumbing.

Over the past year, I've had a plethora of repairs and upgrades done to my rental unit. Everyone who works for Wahl is nothing but professional, courteous, knowledgeable, punctual, and thorough.

With major repairs being done within the home, cleanliness from start to finish is absolutely top notch. They work fast but the quality doesn't degrade in the slightest.

The technician who came to my house for a furnace tune up told me that the heat exchanger was overheating, the inductor motor was failing and the internal gas valve was leaking. His quote was over $5000 to repair it and strongly recommended replacing the entire unit along with much of the duct work in the house. Nearly $7000. He shut off the leaking valve because it was unsafe.

I called in another expert to give me a second opinion before spending thousands to fix this problem. The second tech found the inductor motor and heat exchanger to be in good working order. The valve was not leaking but rather a pipe that feeds furnace had a small leak. That was fixed with a quarter turn with a wrench. This gas line was not shut off by the technician from wahl. We continued to have gas leaking into our home until the second tech discovered the leak. By shutting off the heat to the house, and scaring us into thinking that we were in danger, he convinced us that we would have to buy a new furnace. I have never been so disgusted with the tactics of a salesman.

When reviewing the work done by Wahl, the tech giving the second opinion noticed several errors in the notes that I was given. The inductor motor was determined to be failing because it was rated for 1.0 amp and tested at 1.6 amp. The motor is clearly marked to have a rating of 1.7 amp and when tested by a technician who is both honest and can read, was drawing only 1.4 amp. That is one of several inaccuracies in his report.

I called wahl to tell them what had happened and how I felt about it. The woman I talked to said that they firmly stand behind their technicians and the work that they do. The best she could offer me was to send out a “Senior technician” to do the inspection again. We decided that enough time has been wasted with this company. Hopefully they put my $75 to good use because they will never get another penny from me.

I would recommend that wahl stop selling furnaces and start selling used cars, but I would hate to see the reputation of used car salesman be tarnished by these shysters.

I had the annual a/c check, to make sure it is ready for the cooling season. Chuck is always prompt, efficient, professional and thorough.

Wahl is fantastic with many things, but customer service is top notch! We receive calls periodically to perform our included maintenance checks and today was one of them. Nick Calabrese was the tech that performed the checks. He was professional, thorough, and very knowledgeable on the system we had installed and made suggestions for improving the efficiency and prolonging the life of our investment. His suggestions were items that made a lot of sense and, to my surprise, were able to be performed same day! He was a pleasure to work with and we will be requesting him for our next maintenance checkup in the late fall.

My furnace wasn't working and I didn't know why after multiple attempts at fixing it myself. I called Wahl and they were very professional and responsive. They had a technician, Brad, out the next day. Unfortunately, my furnace was shot, and Brad provided all the details and pictures to make me comfortable that the situation was as dire as indicated. He provided multiple solutions, and I ended up going with the recommendation to replace the furnace, wiring, and get more adequate duct work. The next day, Antonio, Bob, Tony W, and Corey were at my house, on time, to get the work done. They were punctual, informative, and professional. The service was extensive and they were done within the day, which they had promised. Great experience from start to finish.

I called Wahl to connect my washer and dryer to the water lines in my newly constructed home. These were previously installed in my prior residence and I was afraid to connect them myself since the laundry room is on the second floor. He guaranteed that if I paid for the $399 burst free pipes that and leak would be guaranteed. Total cost, just short of $500. The plumber had to come back a second time because he had to go purchase the parts needed. Well it leaked less than 2 months later, damaged the laundry room floor and the kitchen ceiling and kitchen floor. At first they said there was a gray area because the leak was a result of reusing the old Y connector but the plumber said they would take responsibility for the repairs because They stand by their work. I don't feel there is a gray area and neither does my insurance company. I never asked him to reuse the Y connector and the gasket that failed was in the burst free pipe. He had to reuse it because he forgot to buy one. He also counted the number of pipes needed wrong and had to reuse one of the old pipes as well! They got people here to dry everything fast but to schedule the repairs have been like pulling teeth. They told me I had to pick out a floor from Home Depot so we don't have out of pocket costs. I want the floor that it was because it is in other places in the home and my home is brand new! The floor I want is cheap too, under $200, so I don't think I am being unreasonable. They also are failing to acknowledge that the kitchen ceiling and the kitchen floor both need fixed. Some customer service! I have filed an official complaint with the BBB and am prepared to take them to court for the repairs if needed. The leak was the cause of improper installation of the plumber and improper examination of the pipes with the plumber clearly admitted to. Don't use this company, they say they will do something and do not follow through.

Great service with a good price. I scheduled the appointment for the yearly AC check up. The tech was professional and kind; he fully explained everything and all options before starting.

Bob Lehman and Chris are very professional and detail oriented. They did a fantastic job.

My elderly mother recently had these guys come out to do a yearly check up on her AC unit. Which is 7yrs old but looks brand new and has been functioning fine. The service tech informed my mother the AC needed $3000 in repairs or he would install a new one for $7000. My mother called me to ask me my opinion because the service tech was adamant about the repairs.

I told her to get a 2nd opinion and fortunately she did. I had a tech come out from White Heating and Cooling and made sure to be present during the service. It turns out there wasn’t a single thing wrong with her AC unit.

Wahl tried to pray on my elderly mother who lives alone. Total scum bags. What kind of business practices like this.

Beware of this company. All they try to do is sell. Sell. They install and after that it costs you thousands more dollars in the future.

We called Wahl for a service on our furnace and only to find out that it was pretty much shot. Brad, the service technician, walked me through everything and explained it thoroughly so we understood what was wrong. We made the decision to get a new furnace and Brad went through the process with us and was great the whole time.

Today, Ben and Jason were here right on time and got the new furnace installed in about 5 hours. They were both very friendly and professional the entire time. They explained everything about the new furnace to us and made sure we did not have any questions.

Everyone at Wahl was great through the whole process and would gladly use them again!

For seven years they were great, but now they have these young disrespectful punks that come in and try to get you to buy stuff you don't need. Plus it's overpriced. A surge protector for the AC (that I don't need) was quoted almost $1,500 over what it costs at Home Depot. They will also try to get you to buy maintenance plans when you still have free maintenancevisits left and you have to fight with them to point out there error. I'm done.

Jay did a fantastic job installing a water heater at my residence. He removed the old water heater from the basement by himself, which I thought was impressive. Then, he installed the new water heater following all codes and mandates required by the county.

Alex, Tony and Greg at WAHL did a fantastic job installing a new Rheem 60K furnace in our home. The heat exchanger on our old Amana went bad along with a weak flame sensor and a bad ignitor. They were all prompt, courteous, positively friendly and really knowledgeable. All three were very well informed and explained the process and answered any questions I had for them. The installation went seamless and our new furnace is running perfectly with the house nice and warm again. I can't thank them enough. My family and I have trusted Wahl heating and cooling for over 20 years . Today Kyle diagnosed a problem quickly for us and resolved the issue.

Called because I didn't have hot water and noticed the hot water tank pilot light was out and wouldn't reignite. I was told on the phone a technician would be out with a fully loaded truck and that they would have me with hot water by the end of the day. This was Friday afternoon, so I felt lucky to have called Wahl.
Technician came out, timely, and was very polite.
Proceeded to diagnosing the problem.
He told me that the water heater needed two parts, one having to be installed before he could tell if the other part was bad. Also told me that AO Smith parts were not available at any retail store and would take two weeks to arrive. He detected a gas leak in the line leading to my dryer at the shutoff valve and had to turn it off. He then asked if I wanted a free, full safety check of my boiler furnace. Eyeballing the furnace and serial number he told me it was old, outdated, inefficient and probably due to be replaced and that a valve (that another heating and cooling expert turned off) was leaving the furnace at risk for a massive explosion. He had solutions though. Replace the furnace with a combination furnace and hot water tank in one ($23,000), a hot water tank, installed with expansion tank (to avoid an explosion), new, updated gas line to the hot water tank ($4100) or a tankless water heater with bells and whistles and 3 years of service to boiler furnace and plumbing for free ($6700). All packages included the repair of the gas leak. He couldn't repair the gas line unless I purchased something that day. He couldn't sell or install a regular hot water heater without all the safety upgrades because they are master plumbers and at risk for losing their license. Mr. Water Heater they are not.
2.5 hours later he left. I have no hot water I have a gas line that is shut off and not repaired and a bunch of paperwork with pricing for things I didn't ask for. I called for repair, not sales.
This technician, Brad, was polite but he used over the top scare tactics using the word explosion 4-5 times, after a massive explosion killed five people in Plum Boro to pressure me into purchasing products and services.
Don't call Wahl, you'll be wasting your time.

This is a follow up to the response I got from Wahl who seems to think they are always right.
I wanted a new hot water tank installed and thought I might be getting that when the “fully loaded truck” was coming to my house. I didn’t call for pricing, I called for repair/replacement and was fully on board with a new tank as mine was 21 years old.
I realize I have an older boiler furnace but I didn’t NEED one that Friday night. I needed hot water! A gas leak was found (or created) that required a few turns with a wrench to repair that the technician DID NOT OFFER TO DO at the time. It would be repaired only if I agreed to installation of something new when that new installation occurred. I can imagine that a few turns wouldn’t have been Wahl’s resolution but rather new lines leading from the valve to the appliance, along with a hefty charge.
The complimentary safety check of the boiler was a joke. He EYEBALLED the system and looked at the manufactured date then proceeded to tell me it was old. He did not look at anything else, did not take a meter out for any readings and did not turn the system on.
Wahl wanted me to sign that evening and though they couldn’t install until the following week, the technician sat there waiting for a response for a good 30-40 minutes.
This company preys on people, overcharges for the hunt then justifies their actions with having a customer’s best interests and safety in mind.
I got the same hot water tank “done right” by another company along with the gas line repaired for 2,526 dollars less than Wahl quoted.

Contacted WAHL Family Heating, Cooling & Plumbing to have inspections done on a property I'm helping a family member manage. Contracted for safety inspections and had Aron perform the work. In a word, EXCELLENT. Aron took the time to not only conduct a thorough and professional inspection complete with written reports he also explained to me what he was doing, what mattered, what didn't and some things to consider. What an excellent education, instilling a real sense that Wahl is a very good company.

Follow up by Mike a few days later was on par, not high pressure and inline with the professionalism I experienced with Aron.

We purchased a Mitsubishi mini-split Heater/Air Conditioner system from Wahl about 20 months ago. It worked well—both in the summer and in the winter—but seems to have had a slow leak of refrigerant. Service Tech (Extraordinaire), Pat Z., identified a fissure in the original factory equipment and Wahl replaced the entire unit 20 months into our ownership. Fortunately, we had the extended warranty coverage—which everyone should purchase!

Pat Z. is an excellent technician (we always request him). He is smart, competent and very professional. Today, we had two installers (Jake & Alex) who switched-out the unit. Both men were professional, courteous and left the area clean and tidy. One would not even know that they had been here (except that they left us with a new HVAC unit). They were able to answer my questions and were a pleasure to have working in our home. They even put-on booties over their work boots before coming into the house (thank you).

Approximately 2 years ago when I pulled out of my driveway from my place of business in Carnegie a white pickup truck with the name of Wahl Heating & Cooling on it came speeding up on me, tailgated me for several blocks constantly blowing her horn and giving me the middle finger and screaming and yelling profanity out the window. I stopped by their office and requested to speak to the owner of this company. She came running in the back door and stated that she was the owner and proceeded to scream and yell at me stating that I pulled out in front of her and she felt justified in her road rage. I think she was the owners daughter. I was hoping that the actual owner would call me because he knows who I am and at least offer an apology. Instead they leave an anonymous negative feedback on my company. It would so appear that Wahl Heating & Cooling is not as professional as they would led you to believe in their advertisements.

Nick Calabrese showed up on time, was professional and courteous, and answered any questions we had. He completed the repair work in a timely fashion, and helped to schedule future preventative maintenance.

Their work was fantastic, very polite, and have an elite attention to detail. Jason, Bob, and Mike are top notch technicians.

Kyle was here yesterday to take a look at our failing, twenty-year-old air conditioner, and our even older furnace. He was very thorough, and he patiently discussed all of our options with us. On his recommendation, we decided to replace both units. We are grateful for his professionalism, as well as his very friendly demeanor.

I called because my shower kept dipping water I couldn’t find a plumber to come out the same day until I called Wahl Jay was very detailed on the explanation of the problem and gave me options to fix the problem. I love having a company that I trust. The guys who regularly service my systems (Wahl for AC, heat, water heater, plumbing) know them, and when they don’t, calvary is contacted by phone and even in person for troubleshooting. They are just as fast to say “you don’t need that yet” as they are to say “it’s time” and always provide multiple price point options as possible. As a female homeowner, there are so many companies ready to pull a fast one on you; to date, I have never felt I have been given bad advice, taken advantage of, or cheated by Wahl, and I feel fortunate that I have a relationship with a company that I trust, responds quickly, and has great employees.

I recently purchased a house, one of the selling points was that the Steam Boiler was new, and installed less than a year ago at that time. Based on this I was confident that I wouldn’t have any issues with the heating system, and that it would be efficient. Turns out I was wrong, through most of the winter I have struggled with the system for various reasons, noise, too much water getting into the radiators, slow to heat, etc. After extensive research and some help from an on-line message board I come to find out that the piping configuration that Wahl did near the boiler is all wrong, it doesn’t meet what is shown in the installation manual for the boiler, which voids my boilers manufacturer warrany, or standard convention. They used too small of a riser, and only one where there could have been two, which is a contributor to it being slow to heat, they used press on fittings which is not recommended, it goes horizontal way too low, which is causing “wet steam”. I’m disappointed that something I was assumed was done right clearly was not, and now I am going to have to pay to correct it. Maybe these guys are better at forced air systems, but it seems they don’t know steam, nor take the care and attention to detail to learn.

Pure garbage. A/C stopped working in residence with 8 day old infant. Called Wahl, they came right away. One big issue is they didn’t solve the problem.

You would think a company that goes out of its way to highlight that it’s a family business would do the right thing and correct the issue? Nope. What we were met with were rudeness, lies and the ever so gracious offer of coming back out for a fee.

Look either do the job in the first place or just say “hey we don’t wanna” so we can find someone else that will. Clownfrauds.

Pat is always helpful when here for maintenance or repairs. A technician that answers his cell phone to clear up a question I have.....that is fantastic.

Three estimates for hot water tank...$14,000.00 for premium....$8,500.00 for good and finally $1,850.00 for average. Had Home Depot do it for $850.00. Same darn Rheem hot water tank. You decide. Then they want to charge you $100.00 for the estimates!!! Really?

Brad was very professional and friendly. He went out of his way to explain everything that he was doing. We've had our new furnace and air conditioning unit for over a year now and we absolutely love it. The free annual checkup was a surprise bonus. :) We paid about $7k total for everything. Including the new furnace, central air, AND installation and delivery fee. It would have been an absolute nightmare to have to it it ourselves so I thought that it was definitely a fair price. We make payments through the Home Depot loan and they also set that up for us as well. Ultimately, it was a very easy and stress free experience all across the board. 5 stars!

We called WAHL for a check and tuneup of our under-perfroming HVAC system.Chuck was very professional in performing the inspection and testing of our system and told me the bare requirements needed to fix our HVAC. Chuck explained all the tests he performed on the system and the implications of each. Chuck gave us additional recommendations to have proper heating and cooling in our house . We decided to get the extra work taken care of. Overall we are satisfied with the service.

This is the 2nd time we chose Wahl's to help us. The first time was to replace our A/C unit, and we were so happy that it was a not even a question to call them again when our furnace needed replaced. Aron & Sean were excellent. Their explanations easy to follow & they were very thorough in explaining the process & particularly the objectives each day. Sean’s team (Tony & Chris) was very easy to work with & they all did a great job answering our questions and addressing our concerns. They were also careful in our house so as to not allow the soot from the old furnace go beyond the basement. Corey joined the team on day 3 and he was likewise pleasant & easy to work with. Sean was particularly diligent in making sure all our radiators were working when the temperature outside (mid 80’s) told the boiler no heat was needed. We recently had Wahl Heating and Cooling over to evaluate a problem with our central AC unit.

The dispatcher was kind and courteous and was able to get a technician out to us very quickly. For this, they definitely deserve an A+.

I cannot really evaluate the skill of the technician because the problem was detected in about 5 minutes - a power line was never run to the unit. Overall, the technician was friendly and seemed to know his trade.

The 3 star review is entirely because of the cost of using this company. Their diagnostic appointments run a little high (about $15 more than their competition in the area) but their quote for repairs were astronomical. It came in at nearly $1400. We promptly found an electrician that did it for $400.

I will also say the technician did not look me in the eye when delivering the price estimate and he immediately offered a $200 off coupon after I declined the repair. These are two red flags for me.

Summary

Pros: Can get appointment quickly, scheduler/dispatcher friendly and courteous, and diagnostic appointment cost reasonable (though not the cheapest around).

Cons: Quotes to repair are astronomically high.

Jake and Jared arrived on time to perform the work. They were very friendly and professional doing the work. They explained what they were going to do and when they were done they walked us through everything that was completed. The areas they were working in were cleaned up thoroughly after the work was done. You could not even tell they had been there! Also they discovered an issue with an A/C unit that was installed by another company and fixed it at no charge to us. If you need heating, a/c or any HVAC work done do not hesitate to use these guys!

Chris and Jake were very awesome they we're very informative and did a great job I would recommend them to anyone thank you for your service!

I've been using Wahl for years. Not only has their work always been excellent, but, throughout the organization, their people are flexible, kind, and honest. One of their technicians, Tyler, was especially helpful in the way that he creatively and patiently completed a complex plumbing job in my old house. They've earned my continued (and hopefully as infrequently as possible) business.

Wall heating and plumbing is an outstanding company from the beginning of the inspection to the finale install. Brad was my salesman he was very thorough in explaining my old system which was 16 years old. He showed me the rust I had inside the gas furnace and the heater had 4 cracks in it which was a safety hazard. Brad showed me 4 quotes for a new system and told me the good and the bad for all the systems. He was not pushy like most salesmen I was going to get a couple more quotes but we liked the extras Wahl offered us.
The next day I was scheduled for my install the installers called me 30 minutes before they got here. Jake, Alex and Jason was my installers they introduced themselves when they walked in the door and was very professional and courteous. They were installing my heater an ac so they asked me to walk with them and answered all my questions and concerns about the install. The install took 2 days when they were finished they went over the entire system with me and explained everything. They did not leave no mess when they left as a matter of fact the area was cleaner when they left.
With COVID-19 going on right now they were very concerned with our safety from beginning to end. The social distant from us and wore masks the entire time.
If I need any kind of plumbing or heating work the first and only call I will make is to Wahl plumbing and heating. I would to thank all the employees that made this purchase happen.

Unfortunately we had a lot of plumbing issues in the last year. We decided to use Wahl. We were hesitant because of bad experiences with other service companies. They were extremely fair, very thorough, and truly diagnosed and fixed all of our Issues quickly. Tyler was our technician. Tyler also performed the work on site. He did an excellent job And was very clean and professional. We highly recommend using this company for any of your plumbing issues! PS they also can take care of all of your heating and cooling needs!

If no stars is an option I would prefer that. I am renovating a mobile home for my mother to live in. The HW tank went so I called Wahl. WAY OVER INFLATED QUOTE. To the point of price gouging. $5K to install a domestic 29g HW Tank? Really? Parts are $600 at most so Wahl feels they deserve $4,400/hr in labor? Even if it took 2 hours that is still $2K/hr come on. This is shameful. When people call you for a HW tank they are in an emergency situation and under duress, and you feel it is appropriate to inflate the cost because they are under the gun. Plus, the old if we get it on the books now it is less, is yet another guerrilla sales technique and not appropriate to use when folks are behind the eight ball. I say all of this because I am a project manager for hundreds of commercial facilities and I have never paid that much to replace any HW tank in my facilities (yes some of my commercial building have residential tanks). If Wahl can't get there calendars filled it is not up to me to cover that.

Water heater conked out replaced with a new model at a good price

Beware of this company. I'm a remote landlord and called them to service my unit in Pittsburgh. They told me I needed the capacitor replaced and charged me over $400 for this simple task. After researching online, it should cost no more than $200. I was overcharged.
Before researching this I called them for another issue that involved replacing a TXV. They quoted me $1600 for this job!!!! After researching this I learned that it should cost around $500-$800. After seeing some of the other reviews for them, it appears they commonly inflate prices, taking advantage of people.

Service representative was punctual, professional and didn't try to push the recommendations. I like being given the opportunity to take time to make my decision.

Kyle did a great job with my furnace tune up today. He went through everything and found an issue which needed to be dealt with and highlighted some other issues to watch out for down the road.

My contact with Wahl and Steven, the service tech began with a service call for a failing (25 something year old) whole house AC unit. Steven checked my unit and offered me several “no pressure” options from repair to replacement. Needless to say I’m very pleased with Wahl and will enter into a contract to replace my AC unit and furnace as is is at the end of its life span.

Wahl’s installation team (Jake, Jared and Marcel) arrived this morning to install my new AC and furnace. It took most of the day to remove, install the new system, clean up and insure I knew how to operate the new equipment including setting up the thermostat app on my phone. I had John Wahl install 2 furnaces in my home 20 years ago. One of the furnaces was failing, and I had John out for an estimate about 6 weeks ago (early February 2021). I intend to use his services to install my new furnace.

Brought a new furnace in 2015. Had a technician come in the fall of 2018. I had forgotten to change the filter and it had gotten sucked into the fan. No other problems but I brought a plan to do two checkup and I was able to use one for that service call, which was great it cost me less money. Now in March of 2019 I scheduled the second check up. The night before it got kind of cold in the house but they were coming out the next morning so no problem. I checked the filter before the came it was really full so I changed it. The tech comes and 5 minutes after being here says my secondary heat exchange is frozen and it will cost $2999 or i could replace the furnace. I said no thank you and he left. I checked the furnace seen that the code light was flashing 4 times. I did some research to see what that meant I see that it could mean the filter was blocked remembering that the filter was pretty blocked I decided to just reset the furnace. I turned it of at the fuse box for 20 minutes and turned the switch inside off. When I came back in and turned the furnace on it worked fine and has continued to work with no problem since. ( I am writing this a week later) First off he tried to get me to purchase a whole new furnace for a very simple problem. Secondly I dont think he did the check up so it was a waste of my second check up.

Used Car Salesman
After calling and texting my usual AC/Heating guy for weeks, and not getting a response, I was referred to Wahl by one of my sisters. The 1-star was for the prompt return of my appointment request and their ability to schedule an appointment in a timely manner. After that, it was all downhill.
The technician arrived and seemingly had bad information about what I had explained to be the issues with my system. Within five minutes, he came to inform me that I had zero coolant in my AC and that he recommended at total AC and Furnace Replacement. What? My system is less than five years old! When I checked the temperature coming out of the vent, the air was at 65 degrees. After that, the technician stated that the system was low (70+ psi). So, 70 psi doesn't sound like zero to me! To simply add coolant, the cost was going to be nearly $2,000.00. Yet, he continued to push for a complete replacement of my AC & Furnace at a tune of nearly $8,000.00.
Upon telling him that we would not make an $8,000.00 decision today (and wanted to get another opinion), he wrote up his report in which I had to cross off two items that he claimed that I said and underlined his narrative that stated his quoted price was only good for today. As a regional sales manager in the healthcare industry, I refuse to do business in this manner.
The items that I had to cross off included his statement that the AC unit has been recharged in the past (false) and that I refused to have the Safety Inspection performed. As a former firefighter with one of my degrees being a B.S. in Industrial Safety, I would never refuse a safety inspection.
To me, it is evident that the technicians are incentivised to upsell rather than simply performing the requested tasks. I am very disappointed in the service, but glad that this lesson only cost me $94.00. Although, I paid $94.00 for them to come out and do basically nothing but wash off my outside unit and try to sell me an extremely expensive new system.
One day later...my usual AC man responded and came out to inspect my system. It was very low in coolant and he recharged the system for $289.00. I want my $94.00 returned from Wahl, which I simply paid for a sales pitch. If not, I will be contacting the BBB.

We had 2 technicians out to address several issues: the water heater, a humming sound when the air kicks on, our water filtration system, a clogged toilet, and a sewer smell in the half-bath. The first guy came out to address our specific problems. He told us the following: the water heater can wait but eventually you'll have to replace it because it's leaking. The humming sound is from your electronic air filters and those are crappy so just don't even use them. Don't even turn your water filtration system on, the water here is fine. Use drano and an auger on your toilet. The sewer smell is probably a clog, use some more drano. He left and didn't actually fix anything. I wrote a check for $287 and everything was in the exact condition when he left as when he arrived. Two weeks later, another technician is out for maintenance visit and I ask him about all issues above. He tells me that the water heater needs to be replaced immediately and will go any day now, the humming is happening because the unit is not sitting on rubber, it's directly on the floor, the water here is bad and we should get the filtration system working asap, the clogged toilet is either the vents or the pipes, and the sewer smell is either a valve or a leaking pipe. His visit was prepaid as part of a package but again, everything was in the same state before and after his visit. What concerns me the most isn't that neither technician really did any work, or the money I paid them for minimal service, it's that they gave me such different diagnoses for the plumbing issues; each with varying timelines and costs. Who do I believe? And how do I proceed? Well, I don't trust Wahl so I'll be calling Steve Poremski and Knechtel Plumbing...whoever calls me back first will get my next check.

Kyle came and did routine maintenance on our a/c unit, found a few issues we needed to resolve and was incredibly professional the entire time (even our cat, who hates everyone, came out and said hello to him) the work was completed in a timely manner, making sure I had time to get everything else I needed to that day.

Brad was very knowledgeable and professional, I would definitely recommend him to my friends and family.

From the first phone call with Audrey to the exception service visit with Pat down to the awesome installation of my new furnace and AC with Bob and his crew ...an amazing experience. Pat came the same day and had me on the schedule for next day install! Just in time for today's 90 degree weather. Thank you!

Chuck was very thorough in checking our furnace to be sure everything was in working order for the upcoming winter. He explained all of his testing along with the results and made some very valuable suggestions. We appreciate his honest feedback and patience with all of the questions we had since this is a new home for us.

Update: wanted to update anyone who is looking for help out there. I called Gery Heating and Cooling in Pittsburgh. They fixed my problem and didn't try to sell me or scare me with recalls that wasn't true. Go with them instead of those who offer pressured sales. I'm so relieved.
Response to Company 10/18/2017: Your salesperson who was supposed to be a repair person came to me with certainty that my unit had a recall. He used scare tactics using fear to carbon monoxide to force me into buying a $4000 tankless water heater. He told me your company was certain of the recall. I proved him wrong by calling the manufacturer and then putting him on the phone with them. Anyone out there please use extreme caution calling this company. They charged me $124 for them to scare me and do nothing to help. AND, I still have no hot water. Let my expensive lesson stop you from doing ANYTHING with this company!!!
Please beware of aggressive sales. first, the repair/salesman told me there's a recall on my tankless water heater and he can't touch it per company policy. I called the manufacturer in front of him and found that to be untrue. Next he checked with his company and came back with he can't clean it because of liability issues with cleaning flame rods and he must replace them only to tune of $300. I paid the service charge. Can't wait for this guy and his company to leave my home!

Quick service to my home. Very Professional and knowledgeable. I felt very comfortable with Tyler and I had great peace of mind after they completed the job.

Absolutely terrible. Our furnace died on Valentine's day this year. I googled heating people and came across Wahl. The came right away and were very friendly. The guy said it would be around $2200 to fix it but only for the season (meaning by next year we'd need to fix it again) or $4400 to replace it. We paid the 4 grand and had it replaced. Fast forward to summer and it's time for the air conditioning. That's not working. So, of course, we call them back. Quoted another $2200ish to fix it for the season or $5300 to replace it! Stating that there were several things wrong with it including the fan something or other. We called a guy my father in law knew to get a second opinion. He was able to fix the problem in less than an hour and it had nothing to do with anything that wahl said was wrong. All it cost was $180 for him to come out. I will shout it from the rooftops, don't let them rip you off!! I wonder now if I ever even needed a new furnace?!

We had an emergency furnace replacement over the holiday, and Wahl was there for us. Jake and Jared were quick, professional, and didn't mind sharing some love with our overly friendly border collie.

Alex and Sean arrived exactly when they said they would. They were polite and informative and did a professional job ingrains a water heater.

Tyler kindly prepared quotes for all the options we wanted to look at, and was able to schedule us in time for our vacation.

We've been using Wahl for more than a decade. We bought our heater, air conditioner, and now water heater from them.

We called this company after our furnace went out on one of the coldest days of the year. They found the part that needed replaced and also gave us a quote to replace the furnace and AC unit. That quote was $18,000. This included new ductwork that wasn't necessary to get the job done. They mislead us and quoted us an outrageous amount. Make sure you shop around and get quotes! This company is a scam and will take advantage of anyone they can. We had the work done that next week for HALF the price. Shop around for quotes!!

We had a big job, full ac/furnace replacement with a humidifier, new chimney flue, water heater gas line and custom ductwork. Mike and Bob were really responsive, personable and answered our questions in detail. It was a two day job and not once did they stop working. The final product was more than we could have hoped for! We had a very old furnace that had stopped blowing hot air on occasion, and when we couldn't get it working with the usual home remedies right before the Christmas holiday, we called for an emergency appointment, as we had a good experience with them when it occurred a few years prior. While it had turned itself back on by our appointment time, Brad was helpful in explaining the potential root causes and because of it's age, we knew we would need to replace it. Brad provided multiple options and explained each one. We were thankful for a last minute cancelation that allowed us the opportunity to have a new furnace installed before the holiday, with the AC unit afterwards. All the installers were very friendly and professional and answered all our questions. Because of scheduling around the holidays, we had Jason, Jake, Tony, and Sean all complete work, and they did a phenomenal job; they left the basement cleaner than when they got there. We look forward to having them service our systems for the warranty checkups. Definitely recommend this company!

Our furnace quit and after calls to competitors they were the only ones who could come out the same day. Brad was thorough and professional in explaining what was wrong and options moving forward. The installers came the next day. Bob, Cory, and the new guy(i cant remember his name). Were superb. Expert installation and workmanship. Neat and clean before during and after. They explained everything in detail. Superb customer service from everyone involved. I cannot recommend them higher.

I have been using Wahl plumbing for the past 2 years and have nothing but wonderful things to say about the workmanship the people who work for Wahl and the quality of the work that they perform. They are always pleasant and in this case we're here for a full day of work and still maintained a friendly and professional installation service. Would highly recommend Wahl. They have installed all my Plumbing, heating, and air at two properties.

This company is a complete rip off. They initially charged us $99 for what I would call an estimate. They came out and told us it would cost $513.92 JUST to fill our radiators with water, So after everything is said and done it would cost a whopping $612.92, for what? A job that takes an hour to do, maybe two? On top of that, they tried selling us a small baseboard radiator for $700, And guess what? I priced the exact same model for $200, but wait there's more, the installation would have cost an additional $1000. I'm telling you all this, so you can save yourself the initial $99, and find a company that isn't trying to rob you blindly. I'm not the only one with this complaint on here, it's obvious the 5 star reviews on here are coming from the owners and friends of this company.

Nothing but great things to say about Wahl Heatng and Cooling! Nicole was extremely helpful and friendly when I called to schedule my appointment. They even showed up early! Patrick and Greg were extremely professional and took the time to explain everything that they were doing and why it was necessary. When it came time to decide what I was going to have them work on, they gave me 3 or 4 options and what the cost would be for each. I really felt like they were trying to work within my budget! They replaced my rotten drain stack with a new one.
And replaced many old valves in my basement, with brand new 1/4 turn valves (that are much more reliable).

Sean Miller and Corey did an installation of a new AC unit. They were on time, very professional and did beautiful work. Sean took the time to explain the work being performed and upon completion clean up was as if they were never there. I have used Geliece and Craft for past work and neither can touch the service and professionalism of Wahl. I highly recommend Wahl for your HVAC needs.

Returned from vacation and our AC went out (in August). Nick was here the next morning. He explained the situation and gave me many options and offered his professional opinion. I asked and probably repeated a bunch of questions and he explained everything in a way that my kids could understand. I didn't bother calling any other companies.

Nick’s install team was here the next morning, led by Sean. Sean, Denny & Tony were just as awesome as Nick. Their team members are all well-educated, great communicators, and extremely prompt.

Jay was very good at explaining every step of the way. I had a kitchen faucet and expansion tank on water tank replaced. . He even checked and found a small gas leaked and fixed that too! Lastly, installing a pressure regulator after it testing at almost twice the recommended level.
I have used this company before and will use them again. I just hope I can request that Jay do the work.

Wahl was fantastic! My furnace went over the weekend and someone came out that day to check for me. Two days later I had an appointment set up to get a new furnace. The morning of my install, I was called first thing and told that the furnace that came was damaged and I would be the first appointment the next day. The crew was at my house first thing in the morning and did an excellent job. I also received some additional tune ups for my trouble that was ultimately something out of Wahl's control. I would highly recommend to anyone that wants a personalized experience.
