I called them based on neighborhood reviews when another plumber left me hanging and I had a concern about a leaking toilet. It wasn't a huge problem, but I wanted to make sure that the problem didn't become worse. They were very responsive to my call and honest about scheduling (if they couldn't get me in that day, they promised I'd be on the appoint list for the next day). They did manage to come the same day and quickly fixed my problems for a reasonable price. The gentlemen that came were polite, friendly, and explained what they saw going on every step of the way. Definitely a plumber's number to keep on hand!

I opted for 24/7 emergency service because my kitchen sink drain was clogged and the water in the pipe just wouldn't budge. I was fortunate that John Snyder himself came through and saved the day. My experience was efficient and professional from beginning to ending. I received a call back from his office in a timely manner and after I provided the necessary details for the job, I received a text confirmation within minutes that John would be there with an approximate time. I received another text when he was actually heading my way. He was very personable, polite, and professional, and my kitchen sink drain was clear within an hour of his arrival. The cost was affordable and reasonable for quality work, which is what he delivered. After payment, I received a thank you, receipt, and review request via email. Very professional, honest and efficient. They figured out the problem in one visit and fixed in the next, one week later. Michelle was very informative on helping me with my problem. I sent her pictures and the next morning she got someone to come check out my drain. It was less than 10 mins and my problem was solved. I called Veterns Plumbing on a Tuesday evening after 7 when I couldn’t re-light my hot water heater pilot. I left a phone message and Chris called me back within 15 minutes. He spent an hour on the phone with me, walking me through possible solutions to my pilot problem. He gave me honest suggestions along with price points for my hot water heater repair. When I asked him to proceed with the repair plan we discussed and to send me an invoice for our time on the phone he stated that he helps people on the phone all the time and that there was no fee. I was truly shocked! A professional human being who gives you his time as a courtesy?!?! He found the issue and cleared it and let me know there was some further preventative work that would be required to keep this from happening again.Overall, the service was quick and performed within 24 hours of my initial call.

Great service, affordable prices and honorable work

I first contacted these guys more than a month ago after a recommendation from a neighbor who had them install a pump.They initially came out in two days and told me the shower head needed to be replaced. I bought several that weekend, tried them all, and the issue did not go away. Called these guys all first thing the next week to tell them.The technician came out again a couple days later and took photos. He told me the cartridge usually takes just one or two days.Nobody called me for several days. So I called them again. The woman I spoke to said they must not have heard back from the supplier but they would contact me as soon as they did.Another week went by and still no phone call from the plumber. So I had to call them back again. This time I was told the photos the technician took were not clear. I immediately walked downstairs, took several photos, emailed them, and asked for confirmation they were okay.Another week went by. Again nobody responded. So I called and left a detailed urgent message with their answering service.The owner and namesake emailed me the next day early in the morning asking if he could come by. I replied within ten minutes despite being before 5am out West where I was traveling, explaining that would not work and asking if they revived the part. Nobody responded.So after 5 days I contacted them again. The woman I spoke to had the owner call me while I was on the line. Joseph explained this is is not how he does business and asked if he could come by today at 6:00am. I asked about a later time and he offered 6:30. Seeing he wouldn’t go much later, and given he seemed apologetic, I reluctantly agreed. We confirmed the 6:30 visit.Joseph also explained the supply house told them were two cartridges, they didn’t know which, and he would show me all the communication. He mentioned they wouldn’t charge me a service fee for the instal - only for the part. It was odd he didn’t tell me the price but I didn’t think anything of it at the time. Another odd thing was that I asked several times how long it would take to get the part and install it if we agreed though Joseph did not give me any answer.So this morning I awoke at 5:00 and was on my stoep from 6:25-7:05. Nobody came by.When I emailed to inquire and express my bewilderment, Joseph responded saying he called me this morning and left a voicemail. My phone has so not disturb on before 8am for obvious reasons so I did not see. I checked and did in fact have a voicemail - but it just asked me to call back. And it’s a moot point because we confirmed the 630 time. Backed by the word of the owner and namesake.I responded to his reply not even fifteen minutes later simply asking for the price of the part. This time Joseph did not respond.After more than a month, the office staff has now not responded at all a few times, responded extremely slowly others, and lied. Now the owner and namesake did not show up.And they haven’t even told me the price for the cartridge now that they heard back from the supply house. While I didn’t know why before, I do now. Just look at other google reviews.Don’t waste your time.

I have used Reliable Plumbing for 4 different jobs. I will never use another Plumber. This Company, from the office staff to the field techs, is fantastic. They are reliable, trustworthy and fair. I called at 6:00AM this morning and they were here by noon. Thank you guys!!
