My inside shut off valve was dripping. They turned it and it start drpping worse. They then went to turn off the outside valve and snapped it. Now there was no way to turn off the water. Then someone showed up with a big claw truck to dig up the street and didn't tell me. I stopped them before they got it off the flat bed. They also never gave me a estimate before they started. to do any work. They did inform me on the phone that they wanted the whole payment. I later found out that it would have cost me $3,800 to $4,200.after I called them three times to ask. No mention of the fact that they broke the the shut off value.I ended up with someone else. They didn't need to dig up the street only a portion oof my pavement. Fix within an hour

$350 “service” fees which you would think would leave you with a repaired appliance. Nope. This is only for them to take a look at it!!!! Repair is separate!!! They changed a bathtub diverter for a whopping $735 leaving a giant hole in the drywall. I asked for a more water economical shower head. They replaced my shower head with a cheap one and took the old expensive one I had with them!! Who does that? So I was set back almost $1100 just for changing the diverter and having my shower head stolen. Would never recommend to anyone.

Over priced and scamming the elderly seriously and it wrong on all levels

MTD Drains are great! I called mid morning and they came out right away. I cannot tell enough how much I appreciate that! Unfortunately, I have a pretty big messy issue with the drain but these guys worked so hard to fix the problem. They are friendly and courteous. Just real good neighborhood guys. Very knowledgeable! We bought our heater from McLoughlin about 10 years ago. We had no heat and called. It took a few hours, but someone came out to us, assessed the problem, and explained everything in great detail. Robert gave us a quote, and went to work! It took a while, he had to do some redirecting because we need a switch, which is on order; and we are back in a warm house !!! Knowledgeable guy and seems nice enough but he totally ripped me off knowing I’m a young homeowner. It really seemed like he made up the prices on the spot and doesn’t have standard rates. Here are the prices he charged me in case you’re wondering if he’s an honest businessperson:$500 for a simple replacement of a bathroom faucet$200 to replace a shower head (I know nothing about plumbing; he could have told me I could easily do it myself)$225 to replace a fill valve in the toiletIf you care at all about getting a fair rate, look elsewhere.
