Just bought a new house and didn't know where to begin with fixing some of the existing water and gas issues. Andrew was extremely knowledgeable about what needed to be done. After calling him he was there within a day and was able to address the issues that same day. Andrew not only provided excellent service but is friendly and explained everything he was doing. I will turn to Andrew for any plumbing issue that I find.

Stimmler did an outstanding job repairing a complicated radiator leak as well as doing much needed maintenance on hot water heater. They were on time, knowledgable, covid compliant, and very professional. Highly recommend them.

Friendly and professional

I recently had a problem with my sub pump in my basement and a bad leak in my kitchen faucets. I contacted Michael Martorano, owner of Best Price Plumbing & Heating, for help. He came out to my house very quickly and addressed both problems. I found him not only to be very knowledgeable and efficient, but was able to pinpoint the issues as soon as he saw them. He was also always available by telephone if you have any questions. My sub pump was overflowing with water in my basement and yard. He repaired it and added a piece of pipe that fixed the problem. Michael also gave a beautiful bronze style faucet system in my kitchen. No wetness or leaks anymore! His prices are also very reasonable. I believe in paying for quality and that’s what you get from Michael. I highly recommend Michael and Best Price Plumbing for any plumbing problems. Lynne Cimino!

Chalie came out and rebuilt both of my toilets and replaced very hard to reach supply lines in a small powder room sink. He has a great supply of parts & tools on his shinny clean red truck. Did not mind me asking some questions. Second time we had him perform work in our home and will use him in the future.

Called this company as my usual plumber was not available, they came out quickly and did warn me if they could not clear the blockage it would be $100 and $200 if they could. The tech came for less than 10 minutes according to my tenant, used a 6 ft auger and did not even attempt to snake the pipes. Called my usual plumber, he asked me Why didn't they remove the toilet and snake the pipe? What type of plumber does not carry a snake on them?. Additionally, I did not receive a call explaining why they could not clear the blockage but instead an invoice was sent in less than 40 minutes from my initial call. I have no problem paying a service charge if the work can not be completed, but this company put about 5% of effort into their work, I would have much preferred to pay someone else who cares about their craft and customer. It seems others have had good experiences, hopefully yours is not like mine.

I first contacted these guys more than a month ago after a recommendation from a neighbor who had them install a pump.They initially came out in two days and told me the shower head needed to be replaced. I bought several that weekend, tried them all, and the issue did not go away. Called these guys all first thing the next week to tell them.The technician came out again a couple days later and took photos. He told me the cartridge usually takes just one or two days.Nobody called me for several days. So I called them again. The woman I spoke to said they must not have heard back from the supplier but they would contact me as soon as they did.Another week went by and still no phone call from the plumber. So I had to call them back again. This time I was told the photos the technician took were not clear. I immediately walked downstairs, took several photos, emailed them, and asked for confirmation they were okay.Another week went by. Again nobody responded. So I called and left a detailed urgent message with their answering service.The owner and namesake emailed me the next day early in the morning asking if he could come by. I replied within ten minutes despite being before 5am out West where I was traveling, explaining that would not work and asking if they revived the part. Nobody responded.So after 5 days I contacted them again. The woman I spoke to had the owner call me while I was on the line. Joseph explained this is is not how he does business and asked if he could come by today at 6:00am. I asked about a later time and he offered 6:30. Seeing he wouldn’t go much later, and given he seemed apologetic, I reluctantly agreed. We confirmed the 6:30 visit.Joseph also explained the supply house told them were two cartridges, they didn’t know which, and he would show me all the communication. He mentioned they wouldn’t charge me a service fee for the instal - only for the part. It was odd he didn’t tell me the price but I didn’t think anything of it at the time. Another odd thing was that I asked several times how long it would take to get the part and install it if we agreed though Joseph did not give me any answer.So this morning I awoke at 5:00 and was on my stoep from 6:25-7:05. Nobody came by.When I emailed to inquire and express my bewilderment, Joseph responded saying he called me this morning and left a voicemail. My phone has so not disturb on before 8am for obvious reasons so I did not see. I checked and did in fact have a voicemail - but it just asked me to call back. And it’s a moot point because we confirmed the 630 time. Backed by the word of the owner and namesake.I responded to his reply not even fifteen minutes later simply asking for the price of the part. This time Joseph did not respond.After more than a month, the office staff has now not responded at all a few times, responded extremely slowly others, and lied. Now the owner and namesake did not show up.And they haven’t even told me the price for the cartridge now that they heard back from the supply house. While I didn’t know why before, I do now. Just look at other google reviews.Don’t waste your time.

I had him install a water meter coupling for me and it was the incorrect size so I could not get my water meter put on. I called him back multiple times to inform him of his error but of course he went MIA. Luckily I was able to get a MASTER PLUMBER, which I highly doubt he is, to come fix it. I waited about two months to call him back and he answered. I guess he forgot my number. When he did I answer I told him of his error and how he could improve his business practices. Of course he offered to come by and fix it but literally two months after blowing me constantly off. If I would have waited for him I would have never got my water meter issue situated. Seems like this guy like the fast buck and that’s all. I would tell anyone to find another plumber because this guy just doesn’t cut it. ALSO A MASTER PLUMBER AT THAT!This is in response to your post. Prior to posting this review we spoke on the phone and you admitted that you didn’t answer me back and your excuse was “I was busy”. So please stop with the semantics. As I said before which you completely glossed over was the fact your not a MASTER PLUMBER. MASTER PLUMBERS are supposed to stay up to date with the new Philadelphia plumbing updates/codes. Regardless if a customer may or may not know what they need or asked for a MASTER PLUMBER would correct them and let them know what is correct. It’s a shame that your knowledge base is the same as the customers or slightly a little more. Like I said as to anyone reading this…HIRE A MASTER PLUMBER.
