Get another quote, so you don’t have to write a review just like this one!I was in the market for a new furnace and reached out to Aksarben heating and cooling. I got a quote for upwards of $7500 for just a furnace for an approx. 1800 sq/ft home. I was told by their sales team this was a very good deal, as this was their discounted rate. I assumed Aksarben established and reputable business, however I quickly learned they overpriced and my installation experience can only be described as somewhat sketchy.I did agree to the sale, they did show up on a Saturday and took the entire day to install. After they left, it still being summer, we turned on our air to have our entire HVAC system fail and “freeze” up. When I called for them to review their work, they claimed it was a coincidence. They claimed my air conditioner now needed repair, but more likely replacement to the tune of another $6000 dollars, for a unit that was still supposed to be under their warranty from their previous repair. They claimed the unit was out of warranty, at which time I stated receiving very aggressive sales calls to replace.The whole experience had me feeling very uneasy, so I started calling around and immediately became aware their prices are almost DOUBLE than the industry standard. I called and left messages to receive any sort of itemized receipt and they would not return my calls. I then had to threaten to report them to the BBB, at which time I finally received a receipt with no additional details.I did end up replacing my Air Conditioner through SOS Heating & Cooling at almost half the price of what Aksarben quoted me. The SOS quote also included a better warranty and one I trust they will actually stand behind.I feel taken advantage of! Aksarben is using a very reputable name in the Omaha community and clearly they know that – which is why Aksarben Heating and Cooling chooses to not only price gouge their customers, but continue to try and do so after they have them on the hook.

Scott and his team have always been easy to work with, they are on time, honest and will explain procedures and any issues they may encounter. It is often hard to find a quality service provider, but I believe I have done so with Equisure...no need to call anyone else.

Came home to a poppin leaking hot water tank, Called american rooter to fix this issue. Anerican Rooter came out next morning informed me I needed a new tank (by this time I read everything on google about tank can explored and I am beyond panicked). I was told tank was beyond repair and needed to be replaced. Tech turned off gas and water to tank I was then told about 3 different opinions for replacement so I chose the HIGH EFFICIENCY plan I saw a price of 500 plus dollars so I said lets do it. But when I looked closer at package 500 plus was not the price but the saving for that option. They wanted to charge me 3.500.00 for a hot water tank. I went to home depot got a 500 dollar water tank rented a home depot truck for 20 dollars and found someone to install it for 75 dollars. I feel these guys saw a older woman and no guy around and tried to hussle me. In my opinion stay FAR AWAY from american rooter.

I can't recommend R mechanical heating and air enough! I woke up to a 80+ degree house on the weekend and was miserable. Deb answered my questions on the phone and promised to get me someone the same day. When Steve arrived, he saved the day. Very friendly, reasonable prices and fixed the problem quickly. If you want an honest/trustworthy company, this is the one to pick. Will definitely use them again.

Service one was very quick to respond to our call and sent someone Saturday morning. Cliff G.was a HUGE help fixing our a/c. He was very friendly and worked with me to get things done. Thanks cliff!!

Devon was great to work with. He was very thorough in explaining what needed to be done. He walked us through, and showed us what he was talking about before he got started to make sure we were comfortable and understood everything. We really appreciate that Burton was able to get someone out to us today.

They are real problem solvers. Literally. If you have a problem, they have a solution and the experienced staff to do it right.

Seems like they have a history of bad drivers. Just watched one employee drive 100+ mph down I80 weaving in and out of traffic. Driving on the shoulder and tailgating multiple vehicles. If there employees are a testament to their service I would strongly recommend any other company. Putting peoples lives at risk is a major concern and from what I’ve seen this is a recurring problem with this company and it’s drivers. Be careful out there if you see them on the road they have no regard from human life.
