Ray was fantastic! He arrived on-time, inspected my floor furnace (which I've learned is also called a gravity furnace), and was just overall very friendly and informative. I usually ask an annoying number of questions, but Ray happily answered all of my questions with straightforward, honest answers. He also didn't even bat an eyelash when he had to go down into our house's *incredibly* tight crawlspace. Could not recommend a technician more. He didn't try to upsell me on anything, which made me happy/willing to ask about future replacement options. 5/5 stars.As far as the company goes, it took 5 calls to various other companies before finding one that would service my old floor furnace. I had a shower that was constantly leaking and causing damage to my bathroom. Economy Rooter and Plumbing came to the rescue and repaired the shower in no time. The plumber was courteous and professional, and the repair was done to perfection.

Great experience from the very first phone call. Communication was outstanding. Nate was able to get to me early so they called to make sure it was OK. When he arrived he looked over what needed to be done, gave me a great price and once I approved it he got straight to work. I will be using Big Blue for all of my plumbing needs going forward.

David did a meticulous job repairing my drippy kitchen faucet. He came when he said he would, was neat and clean, and worked efficiently to replace the seal, springs and washers, while also lubing and cleaning all the parts. The crawl space and detached garage under my home flooded during the recent round of extreme weather. In addition to spending time manually pumping water out of my garage, my furnace went out due to being submerged in water. Despite being incredibly busy with neighbors having similar issues, Rey responded quickly, got my furnace up and running, and put together a sump pump and drainage plan to mitigate future flooding. As soon as we had a dry day, Rey and his efficient and friendly team installed the sump and drainage. For the first time in weeks, I didn't spend time during/after heavy rains pumping water out of my garage - it was dry as a bone! Rey's pricing was very fair and he and his team have been great to work with. I highly recommend this business.

I used a local community website to get recommendations for someone to fix my leaking toilet, and wrote down several names in no particular order of preference. After calling one business whose recorded message stated that they would try to get back to me in a couple of days (still have not heard from them), I called Jorge. He got back to me promptly, and gave me a date and time range from 12-2. To my utter surprise and delight, he called on the scheduled day to say they would be there around 1:15 and that Ivan would do a preliminary assessment.

Ivan was right on time, and was very thorough about ensuring where the leak was coming from so that I would not waste money.

Jorge and his crew, worked efficiently and were respectful of keeping my bathroom clean (removing a toilet is a messy job).

I could not be happier with how this job was handled from start to finish.

Terrific plumbing service in Alameda, CA!Excellent plumbing work carried out at our offices in Kingston. Work was efficient, very reasonably priced and was achieved well within our time frame.

Sewage was getting pumped from my sump pump onto the street. There was a broken line somewhere...

I carefully reviewed a number leak detection services on Yelp before calling my second choice plumber, Mr. Rooter Plumbing of the Oakland... The first choice did not respond to calls and text and reviews suggested he was too busy to respond.

Mr. Rooter answered the phone, gave me a same day appointment and the tech arrived within the 2 hour window. Carlos was helpful and friendly as we tested various water sources to see find the leak. He found the broken pipe and we discussed how to repair the problem. Luckily, it was an exterior drain pipe running down the side of my house and the break was at dirt level. Unfortunately, there were multiple connections making access limited and difficult and a foot of dirt needed to be removed to get good access.

Carlos provided an estimate within 10 minutes after assessing the situation. A whopping $1,960 to remove all the ABS pipe around the leak and replace it with steel. Of course, there was a lower cash price reflecting about a 10% discount. Although this plumbing was new construction and the home improvement project recently passed building code inspection Carlos asserted the existing ABS pipe was non-compliant and must be replaced. He declined a temporary repair to prevent sewage from getting pumped into the street. I asked him if he had had some rubber fittings that would simply wrap the disconnected pipe to prevent further leakage. He declined to consider a temporary repair. I asked him if he would help dig dirt to expose the pipe while I consulted with the contractor responsible to seek a warranty repair. Carlos declined to help. His only proposal was to pay in full to remove everything purportedly non-complaint with Berkeley building code or do nothing. He left after I paid his $180 fee for the site visit. He promised to send me the estimate but it was never received.

I called another plumber I have used in the past but was unavailable on an emergency basis. I excavated the pipe by hand over the course of an hour to allow good access. The known plumber arrived the next day, assessed the problem and proposed a simple repair. I agreed. He went to the store for parts and completed repairs within an hour upon returning. Cost was less than $200.

Mr. Rooter responded quickly apparently trying to gouge a needy customer. I'll never call Mr. Rooter again. I will share my extremely experience with anyone looking for a plumbing recommendation. Beware of claims that pipes do not meet building code and all or nothing services. Had my project not been inspected recently I might have fallen for the building code error and wasted a lot of money.

They’re prompt, clean, tidy, friendly, polite, and professional. There is no job I wouldn’t trust them with. I would recommend alligator plumbing without hesitation to work on my family’s or a friend’s house.

I can't say what already hasn't already been said about JC Green Plumbing! Jesus responded to my quote request in 10min and it was a holiday weekend! We were able to set up an appointment the very next day. Eric and Humberto arrived at the scheduled time and got straight to work. They were nice enough to lay a tarp on our carpet and floors to limit any mud and water being trekked into our home because of the recent rain we've been having. Their priced were competitive and I would recommend them to anyone looking to replace their water heater!

Company and plumber very professional, honest, and quick!

There was a drain line stoppage causing my kitchen sink to back up, so bad that if not cleared it would have flooded my kitchen wooden floors and cabinets. Brandon cleared the stoppage in a professional manner. Extremely neat and careful as well as knowledgeable.

We had a leak coming from the second story of our home through a ceiling into our kitchen. Jorge came an hour or two after I called (which was faster than anyone else was able to come). He opened up the ceiling, identified the problem (it turned out to be simply a bad washer on a toilet), and fixed it quickly. He was professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. We would definitely use J&J Rooter & Plumbing again.
