Best Leak Detection Camera in Oakland CA

Stanley King was absolutely professional. He very quickly accurately diagnosed the source of the leak from our bathroom. He arranged to get the correct replacement parts and completely resolved the problem with our toilet. He and his coworker cleaned up afterwards leaving everything looking great. I was very impressed with everything that was done.

I've been lucky enough to have Sean handle my apartments plumbing issues for several years now. He is not only pleasant but responsive, easy to communicate with and his work is excellent and thorough.

The folks at Mr. Rooter are not only the best in the industry with their skills and creative problem-solving, but are super professional, easy to work with, all have fantastic personalities, are responsive, and quite dedicated.

We purchased a 100+ year old home last year that needed all the work. New water heater, removal of old pipes and installation of new cooper ones, replacement of drainage pipes, new gas line to the water heater & HVAC, and new sub-sink waste centrifuge masticator. In a week's time, all the work was done to the highest of standards.

A test of quality and dependability is serviceability after work is complete (because, like everything else, things don't always function 100%). We've had a manufacturer defect in a part inside the Navien tankless water heater, which caused water temperatures to not heat up sporadically. Super frustrating, but three times the team came out right away until they figured out the issue (these machines are super high tech, so it takes some time to get to the bottom of it). A replacement part and several troubleshooting hours later (under warranty and at zero additional cost to us), the issue was resolved. Bravo for the team's persistence!

We have more work to be done very soon, and will update this review once that's finished. In the meanwhile, we always recommend the folks at Mr. Rooter Oakland/Berkeley to anyone looking for a suggestion (like a neighbour a street over who, today, asked our Facebook group for recommendations, which we happily gave the phone/email for Mr. Rooter to).

Oh... pricing is super fair too. We had contacted about 5 other companies when we scoped out the work. Though Mr. Rooter wasn't the cheapest (you get what you pay for), they were also not the most expensive. We feel like we struck an awesome middle ground that optimized the quality-to-cost function.

So yeah... all the positive reviews here are very much on par with what you'd want in a plumbing company. Bravo to the wonderful crew at Mr. Rooter!

**Update: the team at JC Green reached out to me and sent someone out to correct some of the issues left behind after the original job. I am impressed and grateful for how quick they were to make sure I was happy with not only the work but how to property was left after the work was completed.**

What started as a toilet leak ended up requiring a repipe everything under the toilet since the pipes were 80+ years old and starting to fail. JC Green was able to send someone out same day to inspect, gave a fair quote, and started the work the same week.

I really appreciate how labor intensive it is to dig up the yard and be working under the house all day, and as someone without plumbing experience it appears to me that the work done was done well.

Unfortunately, my overall impression of the company is based mostly on how the property was treated and how it was left.

I expected a fair amount of dirt/mud to deal with considering the nature of the job. I didn’t expect to spend 2 hours cleaning mud off of not just the floors but also the walls, baseboards, cabinets, bathtub, doors, door frames, light switches etc.

Then I started finding trash in the yard, including one of the bolts that were replaced on the toilet (glad I found it before the lawn mower did), the caps for the bolts that weren’t put back on, and a handful of cigarette butts.

But the real sticking point for me was realizing that they dumped all the extra dirt from the job up against the house, in the center of a row of hedges, so that I can’t get to it to spread it out. So now I have a nearly 3ft pile of mud up against 80 year old bricks, where I already have issues controlling pests and moisture issues.

This is especially frustrating considering I have a number of places on the property where that dirt could have gone to use instead of becoming a problem, if only someone had asked me. I would have even transferred the dirt to my own tarp and spread it out myself later in the week.

It’s disappointing to have so much damage control to do when trusting people in your home to help solve a problem. A little extra communication and consideration could have prevented a lot of this.

He walked us through what went wrong with the previous plumber (we found out that the previous guy used junkyard appliances) and showed us the brand new appliances he used to fix it. This was certainly a quality job and Efrain insisted that if we have any issues in the future, just give him a call!

I got an email from this company that they are offering a free sewer lateral inspection and estimate repairs for listings. We scheduled an inspection that was supposedly conducted the next morning. Day later we emailed them to ask if the inspection is ready and they told us they are not bidding on the project. We lost time and now need to find and schedule someone new.

I would highly recommend Victor. I had a water leak under my house, I called Victor, he asked a few questions, gave me a ball park estimate and scheduled an appointment. He was responding to text messages promptly, arrived on time, explained everything he was trying to do, fixed the problem, gave me some good tips, cleaned everything up and stayed on budget. His prices and estimates are very fair, I would definitely trust him. I'll absolutely keep his phone number handy in case I need a plumber going forward.

I have been with this company for many years and I can honestly say that they are the best in the area. It's hard to find a decent toilet repair service these days, but this company is one of the best out there. When you are looking for good service, it doesn't get much better than this!

The owner of this company did a job for him on a shower glass for his house valued at $ 2000, the guy wanted to go smart and only paid me $ 1000, he kept the rest of the money and kept the glass, he didn't want to pay the other money inventing that he did not like glass and it was what he asked I wanted to fix the problem in several ways and there was no solution The scoundrel wanted to keep my money and the glass without paying
