Best Gas Leak Detection in Oakland CA

The guy came out and asked for $95 for trip charge. It is just 1.4mile away from here. And if he touches anything on the heater, the price bumps up to $295. I asked to check the heater element with multimeter, and he said it will be another charge. I was tired of him doing anything with money on top of money... wasted $95 and my time. Never again... Good luck!

Once again, Big Blue was excellent. We had a blockage in the cleanout, and they figured it out in about 5 minutes. Yay hot water!

2020:
The works not complete, so I can't speak to value quite yet, but so far the company has been excellent! Extremely responsive, knowledgeable, and FINALLY someone got the the bottom of our back-up mystery! This isn't going to be a small job, but given that we've already paid for it and continue to have the issue, then I'm going to hazard a You get what you paid for. We're looking forward to getting this issue flushed outta the way (and blame my husband for bad puns - it's contagious).

I've been lucky enough to have Sean handle my apartments plumbing issues for several years now. He is not only pleasant but responsive, easy to communicate with and his work is excellent and thorough.

Have used Alligator Plumbing on 2 different occasions, they were great both times. I would not think of using anyone else.

Plumber arrived on time. I told him what I needed done. Just power wash my clogged sewer lines using a power washer. I've had this service done a few times in the past 6 years by other plumbing companies. The JC Green plumber said that he was going to use a snake to unclog my line instead. I told him not to use a snake because it wouldn't work. He blew off my request anyway.
He started using the snake @10 AM, getting poor results so he continued to use it anyway, even though the sewage line was still not uncloged. About 10:45AM, he gives up using the snake and starts using the power washer like I requested. The JC Green Plumber could have finished the job in 15 minutes if he would've listened to me.
So, @ 11:15Am the job is complete but not without him charging me $650.00!
I will never use JC Green plumbing again! A hard, expensive lesson to learn.
I just hope their plumbers realize that the customer is always right.

We had a leak over the weekend and wanted to get it fix ASAP. We looked around for plumbing company’s and got multiple estimates. Discount plumbing came the same day, around the time they'd promised, and quickly identified the problem. It was a copper leak inside our walls. The plumber we had was Elmer the quote he had given us was about $2500 cheaper then the next lowest company he told us he couldn't fix the issue right away. So he shut off the water to the house and completed the job within 3 hrs.
We will definitely be calling Elmer back if we have any plumbing issue in the future
