Once again the good folks at Larratt Brothers Plumbing exceeded my expectations - this time to address a faulty water heater they had installed 13 months ago when my old unit ruptured.

Aaron walked me through a quick telephone diagnostic, and when we concluded the ignition was defective he told me he’d send one of his plumbers out first thing the next morning.

Brian arrived at 7 am sharp the next day and could not have been more pleasant or professional. As the manufacturer - American Standard - was refusing to honor the warranty because the unit was more than 12 months old, Larratt took the high road and chose to replace the unit with a brand new (and better) unit from another manufacturer - at no cost to us!

Brian was in and out in about an hour, and apart from the new tank he’d installed there wasn’t a sign he’d been there. It was a delightful experience all around.

Needless to say, I’d recommend Larratt Brothers Plumbing enthusiastically and without reservation for plumbing service - particularly water heaters!

It was mid-season when a pipe from the water heater in my house ruptured and I needed help at once. Luckily, I had heard about Plumbing Heroes: Alameda and they came at the earliest time. You are not wrong for thinking that these plumbers will perform a new water heater installation or a repair wonderfully, in fact they replaced my old one, gave me suggestions on how to care it and showed thorough skills to do so. They even made sure that I didn't have any leaks afterwards. I think they were the best team to come out up to that time!

Five out of five for: 1) workmanship, 2) communication, 3) cleanliness, 4) fair price. Highly recommended for all plumbing jobs. I've known Anam at Green Eagle Plumbing for four years. I first asked him to look at a bad p-trap - he came promptly at the agreed upon time with an assistant and patiently listened to my description of the problem, asking some follow-up questions. Then he laid down a work blanket and carefully removed some cleaning products that were in the way. Completed the work quickly and tested it before replacing the cleaning products and explaining what he did. Since then, he's installed an electric water heater, an on-demand water heater, all new copper piping...the list goes on. Passed his name on to my relatives and they're all very happy as well. A reliable plumbing company you can trust.

I'm conflicted. They are responsive, but expensive. And apparently, carry nothing on their trucks (even the smallest jobs require a trip to the store). They recently came back to fix a leak from the last time they were here, and didn't charge me, so that's good, I suppose.

Service level is great. They stick with an issue until they have figured out how to resolve it. They can service boilers which is a rare find.

The pump in our lift station wasn't activating and we were having problems with sewage. Roto Rooter came out twice and basically didn't know what they were doing. In frustration I turned to Yelp. Gladiator was extremely responsive (came out same day) and fixed the problem quickly. Very professional.

The owner of this company did a job for him on a shower glass for his house valued at $ 2000, the guy wanted to go smart and only paid me $ 1000, he kept the rest of the money and kept the glass, he didn't want to pay the other money inventing that he did not like glass and it was what he asked I wanted to fix the problem in several ways and there was no solution The scoundrel wanted to keep my money and the glass without paying
