Best HVAC Duct in Newark NJ

I have been dealing with S&R Plumbing Heating for years and they always do a fantastic.I really appreciate the time they take to answer my questions as well!

I had a broken A/C, and had called them to diagnose (and fix) the problem. Their mechanic was great. He was exceedingly friendly, and diagnosed (and fixed) the problem expertly, within 45 minutes of arrival.
He emailed me my invoice directly after fixing my A/C, which was very helpful.
His price was very fair .
Will definitely call again if I have an issue with my air conditioning

I was the one giving one star review 3 weeks ago. Ivan called me back that same day and solved the issue quickly. Still Highly recommend it even after a bad experience early. I can’t edit my old review so I am posting a new one.

I was under a lot of distress due to water mains damage. The whole family was suffering from the issue and we needed an immediate water mains repair. These guys quickly responded to our call and dispatched a team. The repairmen were able to identify the cause of problem and fixed it efficiently. Great service.

We were not getting any hot water from the water heater. The pilot light was running so I thought it wouldn't be that difficult to fix. I Googled the issue and started following instructions. Things stopped making sense after a while though. I had to call Eco for help. Moe immediately dispatched an expert, who rectified the problem. These guys are experienced professionals. The rates are affordable and service is top quality.

We needed a dual service. Bathtub was leaking in one of the bathrooms, and a faulty furnace. We needed someone who could cover both problems: a one-stop-shop kind of thing. Three well-reputed companies showed up in my Google search. This company offered me the best quote and a perfect appointment.

They dispatched their two best workers for the job. Both of them were very polite and communicative. We were all set within a few hours. Efficient and clean work from the guys. We would happily hire them again if needed.

Highly responsive took care of the air conditioning problem that my tenants had, more importantly he was available and responsive via text and call and very informative on what was happening with the ac unit highly recommended

Our furnace wasn’t working a few weeks ago and we called 3Way Air Mechanical and Ed was dispatched to our furnace request. He was prompt, courteous, friendly and most important knowledgeable to trouble shoot what was wrong. He took his time and diagnosis the issue and let us know what the cost would be and once we gave have him the go ahead. All the necessary parts were installed and everything was up and running again! I would certainly recommend 3Way Air Mechanical and use again should another issue come up in our home. Great job!

Tommy was super kind and helpful when stopping by my house after hours same day when our heat stopped working. It was a minor issue, but I'm terrified of messing with anything HVAC related bc of the age of my house. None the less, got our heat up and running. He called out potential future issues to make sure I service/take care of. Highly recommend especially in a time where lots of people say they'll show up but won't! He showed up and took great care. I'll definitely hire him again in the future based on this interaction.

Questionable professionalism but they got the job done for a price.

For those that want to know, I was in a bind. Installed a new thermostat and everything was fine for 10 minutes. Then air wouldn't turn on and temp outside was around 90. Called late in the evening and asked if someone could come out to diagnose for me. Spoke with Adam. Adam informed me that him coming over was going to cost $75 but it would be applied to the service if I had them fix the problem. Fine, I get it. Appointment set for 9-11am next day.

When he arrives, I give him the breakdown and told him I changed a fuse in the system and it powered back on but no cold air. Being a DIY guy, I took my multimeter and checked for power on all the obvious places but didn't undo any wires since there are way too many of them to play with.

His first response is, this will cost you $175. Not sure what made the price go up but again, I was in a bind. That's my first point regarding unprofessional behavior. To his credit, he shared with me that if I had told him I touched anything he wouldn't even have shown up, so maybe that was the reason for the upcharge. He also advised I should have told him what I did when I made the appointment. I simply told him my HVAC system needed to be repaired. If he wanted to know what he was getting in to, I would suggest he ask. But instead, he simply said $75 and set the appointment. I would consider another demerit on professionalism here.

Adam got his tools and probed away. He checked the wiring and the diagram. Plugged and unplugged a few items and reset some of the screws. He changed no parts and just reassembled everything he disassembled and it started working just fine...Great!....

So I ask him what the problem was and what he did to fix it. He replied, I did my job. My second point on unprofessionalism. So I pressed and told him, seriously, I want to know what you did to fix the problem. He again replied, my job but also elaborated that this is how he makes his money. Fine, I get it, he's a tradesman with a skill and doesn't want to give away his trade secrets but do you really think a random DIY guy at home is going to take up HVAC repair and steal your business? cmon now.

So I pay him the agreed upon amount of $175 (no additional parts and labor) and walk him to the front door. The whole time, I stood close by to see if I could learn what had gone wrong with my system. He informed me as he was heading out the door, that it is illegal to stand so close behind me when I am working. To which I ask, Really? its illegal for me to see what is going on in my own house? and smile. He says, its the law, you can read it yourself. Guess what, I googled it and can't find a law that states that. I suspect that his insurance won't cover him if I somehow get injured while he's working and I sue his company for it. Far from the law

All said, communication could have been better, would have appreciated a higher level of professionalism, and the change on the cost of the visit jumping by more than 100% seems crazy, but I was in a bind and I suspect he knew that.

If Adam or anyone at American Way plumbing wants to respond, please do. If you want to refute any of this, please feel free to, but I should share that I can share the saved audio and video of the transaction in my house as needed so that everyone can judge for themselves.

I had an emergency plumbing in my kitchen sink last night. It being a holiday weekend it was hard for me to find someone. I called ANAS plumbing and spoke to Zack. Although he was almost 2 hours away he said no problem he would come down. Zack was a true professional and took care of the leak and replaced my faucet for me. Although it was a holiday and he drove 2 hours, he just charged me for the service he did. I was so empresses at his work ethic. I highly recommend this company to anyone needing plumbing assistance in NJ.

I needed to have my water heater replaced. I found out our old one wasn't working on a Sunday morning. I called Advanced Professional and within 1 hour (on a Sunday) we had a tech show up (talk about a speedy response!!!). The techs name was Joey and he completed the job with no issues. He went above and beyond on this particular installation due to some issues we had in the basement. He was extremely knowledgeable as well as courteous and thorough. I highly recommend Advanced Professional. 5 stars + !!!

I called them for a clogged pipe and they responded within 30 minutes. They cleared the pipe and installed new ones. Affordable, they worked clean and quickly.

After calling several plumbers to replace an old water heater, I wasn't getting any help and was afraid I'd be without hot water for a few days. Thankfully, Plumbers from this company came over early the next day and got the job done. They gave me a fair price and got the job done quickly. Excellent service.

This location is wrong. I was just told that this company does not service Newark, even though according to google maps, it is right around the corner from my home. They are in Garwood NJ.
