I had to replace a water heater so I went on Yelp and found All Clear Plumbing. I called All Clear on a Monday afternoon and someone arrived at my house within 10 minutes for a free estimate. I decided to let them replace my water heater. Their price was average, and they explained the charges and no hidden fees. They were done within a few hours. Their work was efficient. Got a brand new Rheem Professional water heater installed same day call within an hour or 2. Great & fast service!

I had a serious plumbing problem in April with a busted stack pipe, removal of an old sink, and damage to my basement bathroom floor done by another plumber. Mr. Wilson and his assistant did a very professional job repairing and fixing the problems with courtesy and efficiency. The cost was comparable to other estimates. I was very satisfied and would gladly recommend this business to others.

The best from all the rest pricing are awsome ! But not open 24 so if u can wait till next day then wait it will be worth it to call in the morning !

All Clear did a very good job replacing 60+ year old sewer line at our home. The job took them probably 12 hours and required permits which they applied for and obtained as well as passing inspection. We will definitely use them again if needed and recommendations to others.

I had a leaky faucet and called All Clear in the morning. A few hours later, Wilson came, completed the work in 1/2 hour, and charged me half of what I was previously quoted. They were fantastic! I will surely recommend All Clear to anyone in need of plumbing services.

I called Ivan and All Clear Plumbing to get a 2nd opinion after I had been told by a different plumbing company that I need to have my entire 50' pipe that runs to the sewer line redone. They were estimating between $10K-$12K. Ivan came out and took a look and said those people were just trying to rip me off. The pipe was fine, a little blocked up but he snaked it out and then sent a camera through it to show me how clear it was. He also told me that the price I paid was way about industry standard and who I could report them to and most likely get reimbursed. Ivan is an honest, stand up, man of his word kind of guy, which is rare especially amongst plumbers. I won't call anyone else for any plumbing issues in the future.

A+ Service from Mike the plumber! He was here within an hour to get our radiators open and running. 2 radiators had blocked pressure and he got the air flowing, so the steam/ hot water could flow properly. Friendly, quick service! Very knowledgable and I would highly recommend! I called 3 other plumbing services and none showed up! ALL CLEAR to the rescue on a Saturday! Very reasonable price as well! Would call them in a heartbeat should I ever need a plumber again! Our house is now warm and cozy! I'll also add that the receptionist, Theresa, is SUPER NICE AND HELPFUL as well! I recently had my hot water heater replaced by All Clear Plumbing after my old one suddenly stopped working. They were able to send someone to my house less than an hour after I called and the new water heater was installed the same day. While originally I felt that there were several shortcomings with the service that day, I am happy to say that after speaking with the owner--Ivan--we were able to resolve everything. Ivan takes care of his customers and makes things right. He took care of the permit required by the town and I was easily able to schedule for necessary inspection. I will be using them in the future.

The 1st plumber from All clear plumbing was a disappointment. He overcharged and did not do a good job clearing clogged drain. A few weeks later, I had to call All clear plumbing again to fix the same drainage. Another plumber by name Elvis came and he was excellent. He fixed the problem quickly. Many thanks.

My wife and I recently purchased a 100 year old home in Kearny, NJ. Having just dumped a small fortune on the investment, and us being in the midst of the ongoing Covid Pandemic, we were very concerned about a significant water main leak issue in our basement. Having consulted 2 prior plumbers in the area, both suggested they could try a fix at the cost of about 3k (but there were no guarantees) and I would then be looking at around maybe 8-10k for them to dig up underneath my property for the fix. They both said maybe when pressed and would not give me a solid number which lead me to believe I would be paying more like 12k at the end of it all; and, that any attempted fix would surely fail.

Staring at the prospect of having to spend another 10-12k, I took a chance and contacted Ivan @ All Clear. His crew came out and assessed the situation. Talking with Ivan, he offered an attempted fix for about $700. Not only that, he explained and gave details about what they would try to do to repair it (neither of the previous 2 plumbers shared what they would try). This extra insight and information gave me the confidence that Ivan and his crew knew what they were doing, and had a high probably of pulling it off.

tldr: I took a chance with All Clear and it paid off! They repaired the leak onsite in 1 day. We ended paying around $700 instead of $10,000. With the extra money, we were able to enjoy our new home (as it should be), rather than live off bread and water for the next few months .

Overall, I cannot recommend All Clear enough. They are the most professional and honest plumbers I have talked to in NJ since buying this house. I would say give them a call if you have a plumbing issue that seems to be spiraling out of control. Maybe that call could save you thousands of dollars too!

I called All Clear Plumbing, and a plumber named Avi came to my home. It was for a kohler cartridge replacement of my shower. Avi told it will cost $420 + Tax. So I set with him a day/time. When I called the company, they said Avi is booked for the whole day and they will send me another plumber. After 5 hours wait, a new plumber showed up. He told me that it will cost me $1200 to replace the whole thing because Kohler doesn't make the cartridge anymore. When I told him that Avi agreed to $420 and he will do the job in 1 hour. He responded that Avi doesn't know his job.
I called another plumber, the work was done in less than 1 hour and paid $260.
All clear plumbing is not a well structured company. It is an umbrella of bunch of plumbers working in non-synchronized and wild way. All clear plumbing is very expensive and as Avi said it is filled with young and money hungry plumbers!

Avi arrived promptly, was neat in his work of clearing my drain and stayed with it throughout solving the source of the problem. As you may know, it is not a sanitary job, but necessary. I called All-Clear to my home 3 different times for the same issue. First time was Jan/Feb of 2019, they replaced my 7 month old toilet and we thought the issue was resolved. Three months later, I had to call them back out for the same issue and was told they would have to take down the ceiling in my kitchen again to try to figure out the problem and I declined bcuz I was getting married in 2 months and wouldn't have the time to replace the ceiling again. In September 2019 I called again for them to come out for the same issue, I was told by the plumber that the initial issue wasn't from my toilet, it was from my tub. Fast forward to now, Aug 2020, remodeled everything except for my sink/vanity, and guess what..?? The issue is my bathroom sink bcuz the water is still dripping into my kitchen after the everything in the bathroom was replaced. So I'm out of a few thousand dollars bcuz All-Clear negated my initial claim when I suggested a pipe burst in the wall connecting to my sink and not the toilet or the shower/tub.

I have personally used All clear plumbing twice off of a reference. The first was when my water heater gave out and needed replacing. The other was just this morning when my sewer line was clogged. Both times I had someone at my residence and the problem was resolved that same day. Both technicians (Elvis and Wilson) were polite, knowledgeable, and right to the point. I would recommend this company to any homeowner.

I called All Clear to get an estimate on replacing an old, corroded basement shutoff valve for an outside spigot. I was told a technician (Elvis) would be by within the hour which he was. After giving me an estimate that was comparable or better than I'd previously received we went ahead with the job. Elvis was professional, answered a bunch of other questions I had and took care of an intermittent leak I had with another pipe in the basement. The whole process from phone call to job completion took about 1.5 - 2 hours and couldn't have gone any smoother.

Pipe in the 2nd floor bathroom bursted and made a huge mess. Called the company in the morning. Willy and the team arrived very quickly. The team identified the location, removed the busted section, defrost, and welded new pipes in a few hours. What a amazing technician! The team also recommended mitigation company to dry the walls. I had one of the worst night but now I know a great contact that can help me along the way. Highly recommended to anyone who is looking for expert on pipes.

Replaced an 8ft section of cracked cast iron drain pipe that ran through a wall and under a toilet. Excellent work. They (Ivan and Mike) showed up the night of to evaluate and quote. Finished the job in one day soon afterwards. It's been 1 week since and everything is fine.

Absolutely phenomenal, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. On a Friday evening, we had a leaky shower that turned into a bigger problem involving the shower cartridge. The office staff was responsive and got someone out to us in a very reasonable timeframe. Fred was great. Friendly and attentive, he fixed the problem almost immediately. The next morning we realized the problem was not in fact completely taken care of, so Fred came back and completed the repair free of any extra charges. Good service, fair pricing and very professional. From now on, they will be my go-to plumbers and I will ask for Fred again.

Had a small leak that quickly morphed into a big one in my kitchen ceiling. I called All Clear and they sent a technician over that same evening. The tech assessed the problem quickly. Gave me an estimate and explained the details of the issue. Communication will never be an issue with All Clear. They always pickup the phone and always address questions and concerns right away. The work was efficiently done the next morning within a half hour. I feel so relieved the leak was fixed. And I am happy I chose All Clear. They also worked on my boiler last year. I had no heat and they came over immediately and fixed the issue.

I was quoted for a water heater replacement yesterday. I called in and tried to make the payment but was told I need to be at the physical residence to accept payment, no problem by me. However, no one came to take my payment. It has been a day and a half and when I call in, they say they will give me a call when someone is on their way. They told me that yesterday and I waited all day. Told me that today and still waiting while my basement leaks. They have good communication when I call in however, no one comes up to pick up the payment from me. I'll have to go with the second highest bidder, they'll even handle the permits on my behalf.
Update: from 4 to 5 stars. I got a call back and they sent Mike over to collect my payment. I cancelled the other company and went with All Clear. Mike did a great job and explained fully what he did and the permit process. Pretty satisfied with his work and the new water heater.

Extremely pleased with the quick, professional, friendly service. Priced very fairly, also. They came through in an emergency when our usual plumber was unavailable on a Sunday. Even the receptionist was extremely helpful and empathetic to our situation over the phone. Fred came out on a Sunday to assess the issue and quoted us a fair price for a pretty big job. Wilson came out two days later to complete the job. Both plumbers were great. Highly recommend them!

When I needed a plumber, All Clear was booked up that day, so I made an appointment for the following day. A few hours later they called back to say they could at least look at the problem right away, so Ivan and Eric came to my house, got to work and got the job done fairly quickly, despite a couple of unexpected problems. Their service was good, the price was reasonable, and now the plumbing is working better than it has in years.

Had such a great experience with All Clear Plumbing of Essex County yesterday that warranted me taking time for a review. I've used them in the past as my go to plumber since buying a home in Kearny, NJ about a year ago. While I have certainly been greatly satisfied on previous occasions, I will say that my experience yesterday stood out as an example of why I continue to place my trust, and business with the owner Ivan and his team at All Clear.

My wife and I had ordered a dryer to be installed going into Memorial Day weekend when it was discovered that the gas valve and line in our 100 year old house was in need of repair. The dryer installers could not complete the install and I was left with a dryer I could not use. I immediately called All Clear and they had someone over within 30 minutes to take a look. I spoke with the technician Avi and he gave me a few options. While he was here, I noted another plumbing issue I had been meaning to take care of as well, and overall Avi was able to deliver a combined quote to address my original gas line problem along with that other issue I had with my hot water line. By this time, it was already approaching 3pm in the day.

Avi took the quote to the owner Ivan, who agreed and gave the thumbs up for Avi to get the work done that day. He then rushed back to the office, grabbed more gear, and came back and took care of our issue over the next few hours. My dryer gas line issues were no more, and we are now able to actually install and use our brand new dryer.

I wanted to send a big thank you to Ivan for allowing Avi to perform the work on such short notice and within the price quote he put together. As always, I appreciate his being available and hands-on with the business. For anyone dealing with All Clear, Ivan is the type to go out of his way to follow up the next day and make sure everything went smooth with the services his techs perform. Lastly, if you do call All Clear and get Avi at your door, know that he is honest and straightforward with this pricing. He will also make an effort to explain things to you before doing them, and likely give you several options to resolve your issue. I highly recommend you give them a try!

This was a big job that required digging up an area outside of our home and All Clear went out of their way to make sure our lawn and property was not disrupted in a major way. It was also great to hear from Ivan when he followed up to make sure that everything was good a week or two after the job. He knows how to take care of customers so I would recommend giving All Clear a call if you have any plumbing needs.

All Clear Plumbing sent Elvis to fix a broken boiler and to install a whole-house water filter. Elvis did both jobs in one day. He even corrected a defect that he found along the way. He left both job sites clean. Both systems are working well.

I had services done by Jacob today. My kitchen sink unexpectedly clogged and reached out to this location services. The plumber that arrived was Jacob and he showed up on time and immediately got to assessing the sink and the issue. He was in and out in less than and hour and TADA! Kitchen sing is repaired! Great company. After a nightmare of a bathroom remodel my bathroom faucet started pouring into my kitchen ceiling. They came to fix an issue that was caused by the subcontractor that PSE&G used to replace my hot water heater. Excellent job! My biggest regret - I should have used them to install the hot water heater also.

I had a leaking faucet so I called them. The guy said he will have to break the tiles to replace the pipes he won’t close the whole but he will put a plastic bag around it and I will have to call someone else to close the whole. He also asked for 1.4K and that he will come back to fix it in 3 days. I said no and called someone else.
The other guy when I asked him if he will break the tiles he asked me if I want to change my bath! Anyway he simply replaced all water faucet in the bathtub for 425 and was gone in 30 min. No issues since then!

These guys are fantastic. Saved me money! 10/10 would recommend!!!

I called All Clear Plumbing after my steam boiler broke. Originally, I had my contractor try to install a brand new Utica steam boiler. That was a huge mistake on my part. It was an absolute train-wreck. He had no idea what he was doing. I called All Clear in the morning- Ivan, the owner picked up. He asked me to send him pictures of the boiler my contractor installed. He advised me not to turn on the boiler as it would be detrimental to the well being of my family and home. I also sent pictures to another plumbing company. When they saw the pictures they refused to work on our boiler because the job was so poorly done. Ivan, on the other hand, scheduled an immediate install of a brand new boiler. His plumber, Wilson, came out and did a wonderful job installing our brand new boiler. He also replaced the vents on a few radiators and serviced them at no extra charge.

I had a sewage back-up in my house just prior to Easter. I called Essex County All Clear whom I have used multiple times in the past (very old house) and they showed up right away...they always do. They were very methodical in their approach and unfortunately it was discovered through the use of a nifty video system that I had a collapsed sewer line, which I got to verify with my own eyes. All Clear was awesome in walking me through the steps that needed to happen to replace my line and coordinated all the work with the town. This is NOT a cheap job, especially when the street needs to be opened up, but Ivan at All Clear did a fantastic job with the town and was able to get me a SUBSTANTIAL SAVINGS over their original, quoted price. I wish the town would have had more of a sense of urgency in getting the work done (it took 10 days from when the problem was diagnosed until I had running water again), but Ivan kept me posted every step of the way. And it's not just Ivan who helped me out, Freddy, Wilson and the rest of his crew were awesome as well through the entire ordeal. If you're ever in need of a plumber, from the smallest repair to a plumbing disaster, I HIGHLY recommend these guys, you won't be disappointed.

Had a corroded drain pipe that was backing up most of the sinks and drains in the house. Pipe eventually started leaking and began to flood our basement. Called All Clear end of day yesterday and had someone out first thing this morning. They gave me a 8am-12pm window and got a courtesy call at 8am and the technician Wilson arrived shortly after. Wilson was personable and explained what he had to do and broke down the price for my better understanding. He completed the job quickly and efficiently and now our pipes are draining better than ever with no leaks. Avi did a good job clearing a faucet drain. It was not an easy job as my house is over 100 years old and his snake was going up the vent instead of down the drain, but Avi was persistent and that's what every good plumber should be.

Amazing!!!! The owner is great and he was incredibly knowledgeable in so many different plumbing subjects. They came out to service our sewer and he walked us through other concerns we had. Couldn’t have been more happy with our service.

All Clear’s team led by Fred replaced my sewer line at my residence last week. They did a wonderful job! We were not out of service for very long at all. I would give more stars if I could!!!!

My boiler broke down, in mid-January, and they promptly sent over two guys to take a look at it. They took care of the boiler and got it back up and running within two hours. Ivan, and his son Jacob, even charged less than what they initially said, because it turned out to be a different problem than they had initially thought. They're very honest, and incredibly professional. I'll definitely use Ivan and Jacob again.

So last week I wrote a review of All Clear with less than stellar star ratings. While the experience wasn't ALL bad there was an issue of miscommunication on both sides that lead to the negative aspects of my review. After being contacted by the owner Ivan and having an exchange we were able to work everything out and I am more than happy to give All Clear...the ALL CLEAR!! Here's the take away...always treat people with respect regardless of if you agree or not, have an adult respectful conversation. So many things can be worked out when you talk and you may find where things went wrong. Ivan is a stand up guy and his team is amazing. Excellent, quick work, great prices. I never felt like I was being taken advantage of or overcharged, so ladies and seniors, these guys are a safe bet. As a first time homeowner, having to deal with permits, I was lost and winging it and Ivan was very understanding and helped me out to get what I needed and fill me in on things to know. All Clear has gained a new customer in me (if they take my calls, lol) and I will be more than happy to recommend them to anyone. Thank you Ivan and everyone at ALL CLEAR.

Wilson worked magic on my bathroom faucet! I was told the inner cartridges of the faucet were not the same in diameter and could not be installed properly. As a result, I have had no hot water coming from one faucet. After looking at it for a couple of minutes, Wilson determined that the problem was the diameter of the inner faucet itself. It seems that one handle, which probably came from the shower faucet that had not been installed correctly, was the issue. In minutes he corrected the problem. As if that wasn’t enough, Wilson looked at my shower faucet which NEVER worked because the contractor failed to pay the plumber who was working on it and never returned to finish the job (only the bathtub faucet was operational). Wilson immediately was able to see that the hot water shower stem was twisted and didn’t even need to be replaced. I now have hot and cold running water in both my sink and shower. Wilson is kind, knowledgeable, and clearly an expert plumber. I cannot recommend him enough.

Elvis and Louis came to my house and got my boiler ready for the winter season. They had some extra work to do because the drain valve was clogged. They took out that valve, replaced it, cleaned the pressure cut off, cleaned the sight glass and the valves that feed the sight glass. They cleaned up after themselves and were very pleasant to deal with.

These guys are the best. On more than one occasion I've called with a plumbing emergency or service request and they've come to my rescue at lightening speed. Ivan and his team does a great job and are always professional. I highly recommend using them.

I was away from my home and my neighbor noticed my sump pump was running. After an investigation he determined that my water heater was leaking. I called All Clear on a Saturday at 3pm. The lady who answered the phone was very kind and helpful. They got a plumber to my house in 10 minutes! By 6pm a new water heater was installed and I was back in business. Great good service and honest new it from the start

Ivan and his team did a great job on my hot water heater, I had 2 leaks, one from the water shut off valve, other from pressure relief valve, and Ivan's team replaced both of them in about an hour. They really did a clean job.

Not many companies out there still give you free estimates, but All Clear does free estimates, you've got nothing to lose by calling them.

I highly recommend these guys.

I am following up on Saturday's review. The owner did call me and we did go over the issues initially stated in the one star review. The plumber came back yesterday, Monday and fixed the job that had been faulty due to materials and not workmanship. The poor customer service etiquette is also being addressed. The owner does care for us, the customer, and stands by his commitment to provide the best service possible. We do live in different times and running a business in today's atmoshere is challenging. I applaud the owner and his committment for customer satisfaction. I recommend this firm to my friends, family and neighbors.

First, Suzanne is amazing! She’s funny and super helpful when I shared my issue. Second, Wilson who came to “install” my shower faucet was polite, really fast and a pleasure. I will definitely use this team again and refer them to my friends and family!!!

FRED is the man - great personality and friendly - solved our problem carrying a cup of coffee and a 2lb hammer (yea...ok...; and an 80ft snake) - but this guy was great - explained everything, a load of helpful additional tips etc...

In a city (Newark) where you are on guard to getting ripped off by anyone with a pair of pliers calling themselves a plumber; these guys are the real deal - and, what a relief to find a reliable contractor.....finally!!!!. Fred knew exactly where the problem was, and knew exactly what to do - and was gone in 30min - problem solved.

Also should mention - Arranging the service was also a breeze for an emergency call - quick call back and arrival was on time and professional.

Great job - will call them next and any plumbing related projects for our home.

Grossly over charged and I recommend not using them with all of the kindness I have!

Where do I start? I bought a house that went through a poor renovation, poor inspection, and here I am. As soon as I moved in I noticed 8 leaks in the basement. I called Rota Rooter and they told me that it would cost $1,100 and that they would have to tear down a large amount of drywall to fix the leak. I then called All Clear and they sent Mike out within an hour. He me that he could do it for $850. He completed more work than what was promised by Rota Rooter, he did it that day, and was cheaper! Rota Rooter was even trying to tear down the wrong wall! Mike cut the smallest hole and pinpointed the cause of the leak and fixed it! I highly recommend All Clear for fast, honest, and professional work!

Ivan and Jacob came out to take a look at our leaky kitchen faucet. We are new home owners so we weren't sure what the issue might be or if it was more serious than it looked. Turns out it was just something that needed some tightening and they were able to fix it real quick at no charge to us! They were very professional and efficient, we'll definitely use them again for future plumbing needs.

Chose to replace a water heater for my tenant which was original and installed in 2006. I had scheduled another plumber who had given me a cheaper price but then showed up on the day of the job and stated that he couldn't do the work based on the price I was given, that it was going to entail a lot of work, and suggested I shop around for another plumber. I then contacted Ivan from All Clear and he gave me a cheaper price then the 1st plumber, showed up to the house on schedule, and changed out the water heater with no issues at all. I will always use Ivan from All Clear for all my plumbing issues from now on.

I had water leaking inside a wall and a plumber from All Clear came to fix the problem. He had to leave to get a part but did not come back for hours. When I finally called him, he sheepishly said I should call the office. When I did, the person at the All Clear office said that they put the plumber on another job and that he wouldn't be available to come back to my house until that other job was finished first. UNBELIEVABLE!!! He came back many hours after he had left and finished the job, but how All Clear thinks it's OK to have their plumber disappear on the job for hours like that without asking for the customer's permission first or even without informing the customer of what's going on is just beyond me.

UPDATE: The owner of All Clear, Ivan, called me right away after my review was posted. He explained that the plumber did go to get the part, but the store from which he needed to get it was closed (it was on a weekend) and they had to contact the owner of the store personally to get the part. Apparently, it took a long time for the store owner to get back to them, so rather than having the plumber wait around for hours, All Clear decided to put him on another job in the meantime. Too bad that neither the plumber nor the receptionist at All Clear explained this to me in the first place, but better late than never, I guess. Ivan gave me his sincere apology. He really seemed to care about customer satisfaction and I decided to change my review from one star to five. Thank you, Ivan.

It took them no less than 1 hour to replace old pipe and install the new pipe under my sink to pvc. They were also very reasonable. They charged less than $400. Very affordable for a last minute, Saturday emergency morning call. I've dealt with other plumbers before and they would've tried to milk nearly $1000. The reviews of this company are accurate. I have nothing but praise to give to All Clear Plumbing. To start, we had an emergency situation on the weekend that got worse on Saturday night into Sunday! We didn't think that anyone would come on a Sunday and if they did, we thought they we were going to charge us an arm and a leg! Truth be told, they were here within a few hours, Fred was able to get all fixed up and running in no time and they were VERY reasonably priced! All Clear Plumbing was recommended to us by a friend to install a gas line for a pool heater. Our experience with the company was terrific from the owner Ivan to all of his workers. Forgot to review them earlier, but definitely wanted to share my experience. About a year and half ago, I had a problem with my water heater. Their website said free estimates at the time. They arrived late in the evening, gave an estimate, and I told them I would decid the next day if I want their services. They said I owed them $50 for the visit even though it said free estimates on their website. I paid the $50 to get rid of them as he refused to leave. When I called their customer service, they said their website was out of date and needs to be updated. Why didn't they say that before I called them to make the visit?!?!? What a messed up company, definitely DO NOT recommend them. Please avoid.
