Best Water Heater Repair in New Orleans LA

My wife and I were walking in Home Depot and a nice gentleman asked if we were going in for pipe wrap or insulation. We said that we were and he said if we couldn’t find any he would give us some. Home Depot didn’t have any, he gave me his address and told me to stop by and pick up the insulation for pipes. We stopped by his house/business and picked up the pipe insulation, I gave him cash for it and he immediately gave it to one of his employees. Talk about Christmas spirit and goodwill to his fellow citizens. I told Joel that he will be our plumber that we’re closing on a house next week and that he has our business. I told he that I would recommend him to everyone that I know. What a nice man, and I believe things happen for a reason. We were meant to cross paths with Joel today.

When I asked FB friends for plumber suggestions I got 9 different names, Pipes R Us was the only one with two people suggesting. I decided to start with them and glad that I did. Brandon J came out to check a clog in the main drain that was causing both toilets in the double shotgun to backup. He couldn't find the clog within the 75 feet that he could reach. He told me a couple of options - calling another service with a power flusher or try accessing the city line. He also helped troubleshoot a couple of smaller problems with a clawfoot tub shower faucet and overfill drain. Since he couldn't reach the clog, the visit was considered as a free estimate.

Crossposting because I don’t feel their reviews were fair- Yes, I found out about them through my AHS warranty. I had been having a negative experience with another company and requested a second opinion. From the moment I spoke with their dispatcher, this was an excellent experience. Nathan and Coy (I requested their names cuz I had see some negative reviews, and wanted to add my positive feedback) were very professional, conscious of their tidiness -they replaced my toilet (which AHS refused to cover,eye roll) at a very fair price (half of what the other AHS recommended plumber quoted) and never made me feel stupid for needing a professional. I will definitely be using them again, and will update with each visit.

Their driver is a menace. Almost ran into me in my motorcycle while getting on to the crescent city connection.
