Pipes “R” Us

First visit was prompt and friendly. He couldn't get more than 4' down the clean out. They came back a few days later to clean the pipes in way of inspection.
It took 6 days for us to receive the inspection. Besides being pressed for time due to the inspection dead line, pipes r us shared the report with the seller and the sellers agent before us.
Even emailed them a copy.
As the buyer and the person who paid for the inspection, I find this wrong.
After talking to pipes r us, they did not care, had many excuses and gave no percentage to refund or was apologetic for their unprofessional attitude or mistake. Very rude!
There are many professional plumbers available at competitive prices.

They provide decent service for a mid-range price. You never know who they'll send out, so you can't build relationships with any specific plumbers, which is fine when your home water heater breaks, but not when you manage multiple properties and want to consistently get the best service for the best price.

Quality work, conscientious techs. Will use Pipes again.

Very professional! I recommend them regularly for video pipe inspections. They guys they send for the inspections take their time to explain everything and always go the extra mile !

Found this company on Home Advisor. I put in a request, and received a call within 10 minutes. The appointment setup was easy and convenient. Technician called when he arrived. The service was done well and professionally. All the service was explained and all my questions were answered. The price was fair as well. I do recommend this company as a 5 star.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. I paid for them to do video piping. On the day of our first scheduled appointment, I got a call from the receptionist 2 hours before the appointment claiming the plumber's car broke down and he needed to reschedule for the weekend. That Saturday, the guy was 3 hours late, never answered the phone, and I was basically embarrassed infront of the listing agent who essentially wasted his time waiting around for the plumber. The guy apologized and rescheduled for the following Monday. Monday rolls around and the guy is a no show again. I text him and his wife responds to the text saying her husband was sick all weekend and not at work.

I ended up using another agency who was prompt and efficient. I would never recommend Pipes r Us for anything.

When he drives down a residential street at 50 mph with the name of the business plastered all over the vehicle I can only conclude that he shouldn't be trusted as a professional.

I've been using this company since 2014 with nothing but great experiences. My calls have always been non-emergency requests, but appointments have always been available within 48 hours and their prices are reasonable. Anyone from the company I've spoken to - whether scheduling, billing, or the actual technician - have always been respectful and a professional.

This was one of the most unprofessional companies I’ve ever dealt with. Hired them for my pipe inspection and a bathroom drain backing up. Technician said he fixed the clogged drain, but when I went to take a shower it wasn’t any better. He told me to call him if it isn’t better, so I did, he said he would come back out. He then stood me up two days in a row when I made arrangements to leave work early to be home. When I called the actual company to send me a different technician I then was told the large amount I had already paid didn’t include my shower drain issue…that was news to me as I had stated the issue to them on the phone when initially hiring them! Then when I was rudely put on hold twice without any warning, the technician that stood me up then picked up and started screaming at me very loudly stating he was “doing me a favor” and I was being “ridiculously”. I have never been treated so poorly as a PAYING customer. I would NEVER recommend this company. Pipes R Us did not even apologize for their technician’s behavior. I was so disgusted, don’t hire them.

I have used this company several times now and they are always professional and on time. They have done all work professionally and in a timely manner. I will keep using this company as they have always done a good job and been very honest about work that was necessary and work that wasn’t.

Timely, responsive, and competitive pricing.

The pros: the woman who answers the phone is lovely, clear and provided a price and time. The techs showed up promptly and on time. The toilet was repaired quickly.

The cons: one of the workers (I believe the owner) stated a price nearly double what we were quoted on the phone without explanation. It was only when we said that we were quoted another number that he said oh, yeah fine then in a huff. He also left our door to our home wide open upon leaving after making himself quite at home in our kitchen - as though it was his house. His apprentice or assistant was lovely and kind. You could tell he was distressed by the owner's behavior.

Prices are very high ($175 per hour) and wanted to charge me 2 hrs to clean out a drum trap. FYI - a drum trap in a slab house is inaccessible because it is in the slab! That is a total ripoff! They did an inspection for my prospective buyer and left the cover off of my sewer clean out so someone could have broken a leg in it. They also broke the plug off of my utility drain line and did not even bother to tell anyone about it. Very unprofessional job and I would never hire them myself. I used Anywhere Plumbing Repair at a price of $145 per hour with and honest plumber that came out the next day.

Always been able to come out and help when needed. Can't ask for more.

When I asked FB friends for plumber suggestions I got 9 different names, Pipes R Us was the only one with two people suggesting. I decided to start with them and glad that I did. Brandon J came out to check a clog in the main drain that was causing both toilets in the double shotgun to backup. He couldn't find the clog within the 75 feet that he could reach. He told me a couple of options - calling another service with a power flusher or try accessing the city line. He also helped troubleshoot a couple of smaller problems with a clawfoot tub shower faucet and overfill drain. Since he couldn't reach the clog, the visit was considered as a free estimate.

Poor workmanship, liars, and cheats are just some of the things that come to mind to describe Pipes R Us. If you want an honest plumber go elsewhere. Multiple pipe inspections from other companies verified these claims.

My mom had a leak underneath the kitchen sink and after calling several plumbers I decided to go with Pipes R Us and I'm glad I did. They were professional, fast, quick, reasonable and back up their work with a 30 day guarantee. I was totally impressed and would not hesitate to use them in the future. Also cleaned up and made everything look nice and neat. Thank you so much Ray and Jason!!!!!!

The whole group of people are so very helpful! They are always so kind and work with you on a timeline to service you. I only wish they did commercial work but have always done home and rentals for me. I love having them right down the block from me also.
