My home warranty company assigned Prime Cast to fix a water heater leak. My water heater was fixed in less than an hour.

I HAVE A HOME WARRANTY THROUGH AMERICAN HOME SHIELD (AHS). THEY SENT PRIMECAST OUT TO DETERMINE WHY MY TOILET DID NOT HAVE A STACK (WHICH IS REQUIRED BY CODE). AHS THEN SENT ME A PRICE TO FIX THIS PROBLEM, BUT PRIMECAST REFUSES TO RETURN MY CALLS REGARDING WHAT WOULD BE DONE FOR THAT PRICE. NOW I AM OUT $100 SERVICE FEE AND AM NO CLOSER TO FIXING MY PROBLEM. WHEN I REQUESTED A NEW PLUMBER, I WAS TOLD THAT I COULDN'T REQUEST ONE AFTER ONE WEEK. SO LITERALLY $100 DOWN THE TOILET' DUE TO PRIMECAST PLUMBING. IF PRIMECAST HAD RETURNED MY CALLS, I COULD HAVE AT LEAST REQUESTED A NEW PLUMBER.

Our home warranty assigned us this company. The issue was with a leaky cold shower faucet and occasionally leaky hot water shower faucet. First attempt - fixed leaky cold water faucet but left us with a very leaky hot water faucet. It took days for them to return. Meanwhile, it drained the hot water tank. Left us (71 year old, a 4 year old just released from the hospital, and a mother who is in the military), to take days of cold showers, wash dishes with cold water. 2nd attempt after waiting for days- after one shower, again the hot water was leaking bad. I left a voicemail. In looking at how the original water directions of opening and closing was changed, how we no longer had a leak on the cold water side but instead now at the hot water side with the same intensity, we were convinced that they merely exchanged handles! Is this possible? Anyway. TODAY we will NOT ACCEPT to waiting for days to have someone return, we will NOT take cold showers, we will NOT drain another hot water tank, we will NOT wash our dishes in cold water, AND we will NOT waste any more water (extreme leaking water for a total of almost a week). I am hoping city inspectors and other concerned parties are reading this.

Crossposting because I don’t feel their reviews were fair- Yes, I found out about them through my AHS warranty. I had been having a negative experience with another company and requested a second opinion. From the moment I spoke with their dispatcher, this was an excellent experience. Nathan and Coy (I requested their names cuz I had see some negative reviews, and wanted to add my positive feedback) were very professional, conscious of their tidiness -they replaced my toilet (which AHS refused to cover,eye roll) at a very fair price (half of what the other AHS recommended plumber quoted) and never made me feel stupid for needing a professional. I will definitely be using them again, and will update with each visit.
