Best Faucet Installation in Minneapolis MN

I have used TJK Plumbing 3 times in the last 4 months.

In April 2021, I had them replace my water heater that went out and replace a malfunctioning and botched DYI (previous homeowner) water softener install. I called them around 7:30 am, and they were out by 9:30 am that same day. They installed a Rheem Professional 50 gallon, electric, hot water heater and a North Star water softener. I was so impressed by their prompt and professional service, that I have used them for all of my other plumbing needs.

Daniel has since been out to my home twice. The first time he was out, he repaired a leaky trap and drain assembly on a bathroom vanity. The second time he was out, he replaced the single-use, plastic water shutoff valve for the water/ice maker for my fridge. He is very professional and personable. He is on-time and works efficiently. He is incredibly knowledgable, not only answering my questioning, but in guiding me through related plumbing needs.

Based on the level of service I have received from TJK Plumbing, I look forward to using them in the future.

After calling several places to get a quote to replace a leaking garbage disposal, I found Alex.

It was going to be minimum $59 just for them to come out to give a quote. Another plumber was $49 every 15 min, but much higher for the first 15 minutes....that’s over $200 an hour.

I live out of state and my house is a rental, so I really didn’t want to be on the hook with a lot of variables nor inconvenience my tenants to have to meet with multiple plumbers.

Alex was great! Gave a quote right over the phone which is what I had hoped to get and his price was great. Additionally he was professional and reliable. As a long distance landlord, I will be adding Alex at Peterson Plumbing to my contacts for future issues. Thanks Alex!

I'm not going to blast this business with a rotten review written out of anger as I've used them previously, successfully. I'm with Suzie on this one that left a review 9 months ago. Like her, I had spent hours with my wife, who is South for the winter, on selecting a replacement faucet for our kitchen. It is the only one that we wanted installed and had it available at the sink, and they knew this when I ordered the service. Install only. The tech comes out and firmly asserts that I have 4 options. He wouldn't hear of just doing what I ordered, just install. The first one was 2400 to replace the garbage disposal and all the valves Etc. My beef is this: I should have been told that the tech was going to look at everything under that sink and give me this line of options. I work and was not there. Not fair. My second beef is that he tried to sell me a Moen with the second and third option. How in the world would he know what we would want, and beyond that, our selection was right in front of him. That's ridiculous. I did take him up on changing a couple of shut off valves assuming he was correct in doing this on a prevention basis.
My last observation was the CSI call the next day which could have been a total plus but after my answer that I was happy with the install I was asked to rate the service from 1-10 and I'm sure there were 5-10 questions after that.
My advice is this: If you want to survey me, ask me if I have time. Please don't assume that we all love surveys. I'm survey weary. A lot could have been done better here. They are a good business, but this part needs a tune up.

Jake was very helpful and pleasant. I called him one day when my parents water heater couldn't work. He told me he will come over after every plumber I called was not available that day. Jake knew the problem and he was able to walk me into fixing it myself over the phone. After only 5 minutes, I was able to fix it with his help. I recommend Jake to anyone. Thanks.

Erik Nelson's crew did a great job on our 93 year old home, fixing a tub leak that drained into our kitchen. They were friendly, professional, cleaned up beautifully, and protected our carpets and floors. They explained the job, price point, and time expectation and were in and out. Would definitely recommend.

Almost 30 year old system and now the blower fan won’t shut off. He looked through all of the potential causes (twice) and gave me his honest opinion to let the fan run because it would likely outlast whatever will eventually kill the old beast. Very kind, knowledgeable and honest.

John was awesome. I called on a Friday and he was out on the next Thursday. It would have been even quicker but he had the unfortunate circumstance of losing his partner and beloved brother recently. He’s a great guy and is already working with another experienced plumber named Brian. They were courteous, knowledgeable and right on time. He could have plumbed my spigot like the last one but took the time to do it properly and more professionally. John also give me a quote before doing any work, so I knew exactly what the costs were going to be. John also explained what he was doing and why. They also cleaned up any mess that was made and left my basement as clean if not cleaner than they found it. I would not hesitate to call Stillwater Plumbing again when I have a plumbing need. With such a shortage of good plumbers around these days, it’s comforting knowing I can call on John and him and his partner will get the job done. Thank you for a job well done!

Charged us $100.00 for a service call to attend to a leaky refrigerator. Did not have the needed parts and said they would order and return. 10 weeks and many unreturned phone calls later we gave up and called Thomas Service Company. Thomas Service Company had parts available and fixed frig in under 15 minutes.
Plus Maintenance is unreliable and unprofessional and we would never use them again nor recommend.
