Having an overall awful experience with the 24 hour service from roto rooter. Two Fridays in a row I have scheduled plumbing service between 4-8p and both times they failed to deliver. The first time they sent a drain technician (after I had waited 4 hours) who had no clue how to do what was needed to fix the problem. I do not blame this on the technician as he was just going where he was sent, he was a nice guy. The second time I waited for almost 6 hours and no one showed up, I had to call them to see what was going on because they couldn't even be bothered to let me know they were running behind. I should add that they charge an extra $169 for this so-called emergency service. I would love to have them come help me during regular hours during the week, but unfortunately that hasn't worked with my schedule, so I figured I'd take advantage of these services. I understand technicians get busy, but why offer 24 hour emergency service if you cannot actually deliver this?

Great work and great to work with. Came out in December and installed an outside sewer cleanout and fix my main line. I'd recommend them highly.

I didn't actually end up using Gene's as I had another quote in progress but they were so honest and straightforward about my project, the other company I was working with, and offered what they would genuinely do if they were in my shoes (a sewer main dig up and repair). That's way more than I could say for a lot of trade workers.

I was selling my house and the inspection requested a sewer line repair. I forwarded the scope video to Cichy's. I got a call back right away noting that there was no need for a repair at all. They explained it clearly and sent a letter of opinion to my realtor and the buyers. The request for repair was deleted! I am so pleased and grateful for the honest feedback and willingness to help me out. I would DEFINITELY trust them when a repair is actually needed. A+++++
