I can’t say enough good things about Cichy’s. Our house had a very expensive disaster situation and Cichy’s made it as comfortable as possible for us. They found a way to expedite our excavation job when we initially thought we’d have no usable plumbing for months. They also quoted much fairer than anyone else in town. Since then, they’ve stood by their work and given top-notch service. Thanks Mark & team.

Replaced my water line and repaired a cracked sewer in 3 days. Them repairing the sewer saved me a bunch of money vs. hiring a separate company, which was great. My water pressure is now back to normal, and I'm assuming my sewer is now at a lower risk of bursting now. I personally have nothing to complain about.

I had inquired to Cichy's about having work done, unfortunately they did not service my area. The reason for 5 stars is that Mark returned my call in a timely manner and took time to explain the process and things that I should be aware of for my project. Having spoken to many other excavating companies and plumbers, Mark was extremely knowledgeable and gave me ideas outside the box. If this is how they treat customers that they can't work with, I would imagine when actually doing work they are great.

They were able to clean my sewer when another company told me I needed full repairs. They are great at what they do and don’t try to over sell you on things

The city told us that our stop box (water shutoff) wasn't working and needed to replace it 20 days before we closed on selling our house. Cichy's came out to fix it and found that it actually worked. Not only did they NOT charge us the thousands of dollars it would have cost to fix, they worked with the city to get them to agree that it worked and provide documentation for the new homeowners. They totally went above and beyond in, what was to us, a very stressful situation. Can't recommend them enough.

The City required that I fix my shut off valve in order to replace the water meter. This completely unplanned for expense was nerve wracking but Cichy’s handled it all very professionally. They gave me a staggered quote so I knew what to expect (no more surprises!), and they fixed everything and were finished within a very short timeframe. I would call them again, 100%.

Cichy was great to work with. Their estimate from images matched the work that was needed. They also came out free of charge a couple days before the sewer line repair when our plumbing backed up and I didn’t know if it was the sewer issue or just a blockage in the house. When the company you are going to hire suggests a service that they don't provide as the better solution, it is a company you can trust. We went from getting $15,000 quotes for line replacement to maybe nothing or a liner. Cichy's was recommended by it's competitors for our job, because it looked complicated and maybe a hand-dig job. We worked with Cichy's to repair our sewer line that was disconnected and required excavating to fix the issue. We had multiple contractors out to bid on the work and several of them recommended Cichy's because of their unique service of hand digging the holes, which is much less invasive and avoids any potential concrete damage. As anyone looking at sewer repairs knows, it's stressful. Cichy's was fantastic to work with, they were very responsive, reliable, accommodating and pleasant to speak to. I highly recommend them for any sewer repairs, particularly when excavation is required. Cichy's replaced sections of my sewer line to the street that had come uncoupled and the experience could not have been better. It took them less than a day to dig a deep hole in the front yard, replace the damaged pipe, inpect the remaining line, and fill it back in. They were all courteous and friendly. A key factor is that they also informed me of the fact that sewer projects like this can be paid for through the MPLS Sewer department as an assessment on property taxes, spread out over five or ten years. That information makes a project like this much easier to take on, and Cichy's walked me through that patiently. They are the best! I'd re-use them in a heartbeat.

I called Cichy's to ask about an estimate for a project we were told needed to be done after having our sewer scoped as a result of a home inspection request. Jessica in the office looked at the video with me, and was very patient in explaining what she was seeing and the work that needed to be done given the information I gave her. She answered all my questions and was very helpful. We scheduled Cichy's to do our job.

When the start date arrived Mark showed up on time and did a very thorough inspection of the issue, he determined that due to the placement of lines and city equipment, coupled with us never experiencing any issues, that replacement would not gain us anything in preventing possible future issues. If I would have had them come out and assess the situation prior to scheduling I'm sure I would have saved them time and energy.

I appreciate the detailed exploration of the work and the professional and honest opinion. Mark could have done the work and taken our money with us knowing nothing about how all of this works, but Cichy's staff was honest and showed the highest amount of integrity. The Cichy's team was great. We needed a portion of our sewer line replaced and the rest of it lined. They were prompt and friendly in the quoting process (and true to their word on both price and timing). The crew on site were very professional and friendly. Expert repair of 70 year old water service

I was shocked by the detail and effort the Cichy's team put into their quote. They made sure to quote accurately and make me aware of any potential issues that may arise. The quoting process made me very comfortable to proceed with this team and in the end saved me thousands of dollars in excessive services quoted by their competitors.

I contacted Cichy's as we were told by another plumber that our 90 year old sewer line was in poor condition and we needed a liner. Our neighbor used Cichy's for a job at their home and spoke highly of them so we opted to get a second opinion. Not only were they extremely responsive, but Jessica and Mark made it a point to squeeze us in quickly. Within a few days Mark was over to run a camera and give us an estimate and we learned our sewer line was in great condition and not in need of any repair. Not only would I hands down recommend this company to complete any sewer repair work, but they're also good honest people.

Cichy's came out and replace part of our broken Sewer main in NE Minneapolis. The crew was on time and completed the work in a day. Our sewer break was right below sidewalk the city had replaced 4 months previous. They were able to cut out the sidewalk, dig their trench, replace the pipe, fill in the trench, and place the sidewalk piece down again without breaking it. If I hadn't watched them dig a huge hole there I never would have guessed it. The sidewalk looked perfect and the dirt surrounding the area was perfectly level.

We were very impressed with Cichys! We used them to repair a sewer line in the house we were selling. They were very responsive to us as we were in the midst of negotiations with the buyers and this was the sticking point. Video inspection of main sanitary sewer. Cichy's video identified the exact location where the repair needs to be made. Now we can proceed with the repair with the least amount of property damage.

Spectacular service, very quickly scheduled and even more quickly done! They came out to do a significant replacement of my sewer line (24 feet of pipe ended up being needed) from within feet of my house and inches of my front stoop. They did a solid job of retaining the lawn as much as could be expected given the scope of the project, but even more importantly avoided cutting or damaging the stamped concrete pathway/stoop that wound around the area they needed to work on. The digs, repair, liner install (third party) and fills went very well and as mostly expected. I would've like to have seen an attempted to replace the grass (seed or sod) that was scraped from my front hill, but overall I would recommend Cichy's.

June 2020: Securing a quote, scheduling an appointment, showing up on time and completing the work in a clean, professional manner - Cichy's team was great on all fronts. My water pressure, however, was significantly reduced after the work to replace my shut-off valve at the street, and it took me five months to pick up the phone and call the City about it.

The City suggested that debris can sometimes get into the system with the water shut off work Cichy performed. I called Cichy back, and although it had been five months since they did the work, they came out within 48 hours of my call and addressed the problem. Again, they were super courteous and professional, and the problem is fixed.

I received three bids for my 'water shut off at the street' work and while Cichy's wasn't the least expensive, they were the only company with staff who were very confident about what the work would entail and what it would cost.

I would re-hire them again without question!

I had to have the sewer line on my new home repaired. I was late accepting their quote and scheduling the work, but they still fit me into their schedule. While they had a liner inserted, there was minimal disruption to my lawn and my schedule. Worth the price!

Great to work with

Cichy’s installed a 72’ CIPP Liner (lining my main sewer line) in Sept 2018. They came recommended from a friend who also does property management. Not only were they the cheapest of the four quotes I received, the work they did was stellar!

They had to dig up my landscaping, which worried me, but they put it back so carefully, including ensuring the in-ground sprinkler system was back in place and working, that I literally could not see where they had dug. I am picky about work being done “right.” I cannot recommend these guys strongly enough.

We had our house up for sale, during an inspection it was discovered that our main line to the street had broken in one place and a bad crack in another. We called Cichy's, since we have used them in the past and had referred them to 2 of our neighbors, who also hired them. Wow - Thank goodness for Cichy's! We discovered a broken sewer pipe in the home during the the coldest temps of the year in January and were very concerned we would not find anyone to fix it.
We quickly contacted 8 different water and sewer companies and Cichy's was not only the only one who could help us - but 3 of the 8 companies told me to call Cichy's! THEY are the only ones we know who can hand-dig and do the work you need... Amazing!
So we did and it all worked out great!

I had an excellent experience working with Cichy's - Jessica was wonderful at explaining everything involved in my sewer repair and answering my many questions. Tim, Mark and their crew were courteous, professional and efficient in working on my repair. I decided to go with Cichy's over other companies I also received bids for based on their recommendations on Nextdoor. I truly appreciate it when companies are both good at the physical work they do, but also take the time to explain everything and be available for anything that comes up. I hope I never need another sewer repair, but I would use Cichy's again for sure.

I highly recommend! I had a sewer pipe back up. They put me to the head of the line for emergency repair, which I greatly appreciated! Other folks were just having non-emergency problems or appointments. They explained everything so I (older woman) could understand it. They were very professional! Great work and they were done in a day.

Sent 4 guys and completed the work in 2 days. Plus? Got it done in January right before a blizzard. Super professional. Great organization!

If you are looking for a great water and sewer repair company with great pricing. Cichy's water and sewer did a great job repair my sewer. I called them with an emergency repair on Tuesday 12/22/20 my house was flooded due to sewer back up. My family and I couldn't stay in the house because of the toxic smell and they came to the rescue the very next day and had us back in our house the very next day before Christmas.

Fast response to my low water pressure problem request, they did their homework on the city water line and the line to my house, identified possible problem areas, within a few days, visited, tested, checked and quoted the fix, far lower in price than others. Now the water pressure is above the neighborhood average or standard. I am very happy with the results.

It's never good when you have to call a sewer repair company - but all in all I had a great experience with Cichy's, couldn't have asked for better. I was calling as a realtor for a client who just purchased a fully occupied rental property. They answer their phone on the first try, get back to you with bids extremely quick, and the final invoice matched the bid exactly. They also communicated really well with me throughout, and with the tenants on site. I was able to coordinate all work remotely and did not have to meet anyone at the property which is a huge plus. As a realtor it's always good to have go-to vendors for all sorts of home owner related issues. Cichy's will definitely be the sewer repair company I recommend to all of my clients.
