Best New Faucet in Minneapolis MN
Best experience I’ve had with a plumber. Professional, thoughtful, courteous. Stew (Stu?) went out of his way to make sure I understood what was happening and when, and took care to ensure that our cats didn’t sneak out and that our home stayed clean.
The price was also excellent. $1500 for a new water heater, installation, and removal of the old water heater. I feel that this is as cheap as this could possibly be (especially considering a local plumbing chain wanted to charge us $4500 for the same job), and to also have the experience be fast and professional makes this a 5-star business.
They did the job right, on time, and right on budget without any upsells or BS. These are real Plumbers. I’ll recommend them to everyone.

I had a small but important (to me) repair job that I needed done, and Stillwater Plumbing was amazingly responsive, flexible to work with my schedule, and did quality work at a competitive price! Highly recommended, and you'll be happy you called Stillwater Plumbing! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Got a bid from Norblom. Negotiated a better price and got a verbal start date of mid-November. They were going to take a look at another job of mine, where we were going to sign the contract for the 1st job. They emailed me and said they were passing on both, 10 days before their start date.
Really screwed me. Unreliable, I wouldn't bother calling them. Their word means nothing.

My wife and I just moved into our first home. I went to replace the shower head in the master bathroom and the whole arm came off. I tried calling three other plumbers only to get voicemails and haven't yet heard back from two. John answered right away and was at our house within 30 minutes of answering and had us back up and running one hour after I called him. Will absolutely keep using John's services!

The people we had out did great. The cost was overpriced and I was very disappointed in that aspect. They told us a new value would be $400 more than if we were to use our old. We tried to use our old and they said it was corroded, which I get. He went and picked up the valve kit, I looked it up later and it was $50 at home depot...Not sure how a company can just do this to someone. I am not impressed.

Northern Plumbing and Softening were outstanding! Mason was our onsite installer, he was on time, very professional and answered all of my questions, offered thoughtful ideas and answered my Wife’s questions too. It’s very obvious to me that Mason is very capable, knowledgeable and was just pleasant to have come to our home to replace our water softener.
Our Sales Rep was Jon Lund and he is very knowledgeable and professional as well, with many years of experience. He was very timely and efficient at getting us scheduled for repair at our cabin up north.
And yes I’d highly recommend them to friends and family!

Paul diagnosed and fixed my leaky faucet as he predicted. Prompt, honest and friendly. I will refer him to my friends and family and definitely use him whenever I need a good plumber.

They came out, and did some work. Didn't even up finishing the bid.
I ended up spending $3,200 with them. I paid another company $1,800 to redo and finish what hovde started. Wouldn't recommend based off of what happened to me.

I really dislike giving less than stellar reviews, but I do think that others need to know all possible information when making a decision of what company to hire. The MSP repair tech that came out was nice and knowledgable, he knew what he was doing and I am confident with his work. I have nothing but good things to say about the repair techs and their work! However, the repairs I needed were quoted quite a bit higher than I was expecting. I had him do the one repair I needed to get the AC unit working again that day and passed on the other suggested repairs.I had another company come out this week to give me a second opinion and quote on the repairs. Turns out, the markup from MSP was 250% on the repairs. In full transparency, the capacitor that I got replaced by MSP cost me $350 while the second opinion company said it would be $100 if I had gone through them. The other parts quoted for repair that I did not do with MSP had similar high markups in comparison. I ended up getting my other repairs done with the second opinion company since the costs were more doable. I hope MSP's management can look at their pricing and see how they can improve here.

Even though he was booked up for the day, took the time to offer free advice and provide referrals. Was very cordial and knowledgeable. Thanks Paul for your time, it was much appreciated.

Jason supported a larger bathroom remodel led by our contractor. He came in on short notice after our original plumber had to cancel. He communicated clearly and completed the toilet and bathroom faucet installation quickly and efficiently. Would recommend him and his work!

I always use Janecky Plumbing. They are responsive, thorough, and professional. They're great for renovations or small repairs. Won't go anywhere else!

Charged us $100.00 for a service call to attend to a leaky refrigerator. Did not have the needed parts and said they would order and return. 10 weeks and many unreturned phone calls later we gave up and called Thomas Service Company. Thomas Service Company had parts available and fixed frig in under 15 minutes.
Plus Maintenance is unreliable and unprofessional and we would never use them again nor recommend.

2017 I did Phase I of a big renovation and spent 19K with Steinkraus and when I got the bill I asked for back up documentation to support the invoice and was given the run around and an answer well we aren't the cheapest plumbers and we need to cover overhead. When we started Phase II we really like the plumber and thought let's give them a second try and asked for another person to be our contact. They sent the owner Merle and he did a bid which we signed but stated we were concerned that some of Phase III might be included but were told don't worry we will be fair and take care of you. When I got the 17K bill I had kept track of all the hours. I am about 5K in the dark how they came up with the total and they refuse to itemize the invoice. My advise is if you work with them it is time and materials and you ask for documentation. The time spent on site for Ryan was a total of 67 x $135.00 = $9045.00 plus $1000.00 Material plus fixtures $2440.00 =$12, 485.00. Even if you added on a 20% management fee it still would be below the $17,210.00 invoice I received. So basically they charged me $205.00 an hour? I just wish they felt the need to walk me through all the charges but they have no interest. The good news we think our plumber was great just not the front office. The bad news is we have Phase III and can't use them. 5 Stars for plumbing!
