Clint at Roto-Rooter was VERY helpful, knowledgeable, through, detailed, kind, friendly and thoughtful. We wanted to install a new bathtub and shower in our bathroom. When we were in the demo process we learned our new shower fixture needed to be installed to copper pipes. We did not have the necessary tools to handle this. We called Roto-Rooter at midnight on Thursday to help get our only bathroom working again. It is our only shower and bathtub in our house. So this was urgent and needed to be handled.Clint a tech with Roto-Rooter showed up at 9am on Friday to install our new shower equipment to our copper pipes. Then he helped fix a leak from our shutoff valve for our toilet along with sharing insight about our new faucet to be installed. He set it up so I could install it and explained what I needed to do to make sure it had a perfect installation when we were ready to install it. Then when we were installing our bathtub learned the piping was not center so we called RotoRooter again and they came out to center the piping below the subfloor and the copper pipes on the wall. He showed me how to set my new toilet too!! Wow the care and customer service was beyond my expectations. Clint went above and beyond. I will call RotoRooter for all my plumbing needs. Mike and his crew are awesome. We had them in to replace a kitchen sink, bathroom sink, toilet and hook the water up to our refrigerator. While he was there, the water heater started leaking (it was rusted out), and he took care of that, too! Timely, professional and easy to work with.

I went to the showroom and arranged to have 3 minor plumbing tasks done. We discussed they charge for drive time so I specifically requested they bring all tools and supplies needed so I would only have one drive time to pay. After being here approximately 1-1/2 hours I was informed they didn't bring supplies they needed so I would need to pay a 2nd drive fee or pay them overtime ($240 per hour). Eventually we agreed they would complete the job the next time they were in the area and waive the second drive fee. I live 2-1/2 miles from the intersection of 35W and the Minnesota River. Well, it's been over a year and apparently they still haven't had any jobs in the area ( i.e., pass within a couple miles of my house enroute to Shakopee, Savage, Burnsville, Lakeville, or Elko)

Only reason why I am giving them 1 star, is because I'm not sure if they are still in business. Number is disconnected. Scheduled an appt through their website and no one showed up. Even though I received a confirmation that someone would be coming. They did previous work for me. Same day service and solved my problem. They are great to work with and I was hoping to work with them again.

They did a great job on the plumbing connected to my water heater and at a great price too. Much cheaper than a certain plumbing chain that I used once before. I'll always use Newstrom from now on.

I mainly called this service to install a new Kraus drop in sink; not a big deal, they quoted $450-700 over the phone with a basic sink install. Then they said $942 for an install with a sink that we already purchased. Just labor!!!

I could change out the shower heads and handles in both bathrooms myself as it’s pretty much screw on and off, but the estimate came back at $1,425 for one bathroom with the valve replacement. Again, all the parts already purchased. The valve was super easy to get to, with the Sheetrock on the other side held on by 1 screw.

The downstairs I did in 15 minutes myself. They wanted $375.

Don’t use this service, my wife was the one that answered the door and they just ripped her off assuming she didn’t know anything about pricing.

I paid $69 for the estimate, they should pay me back for me wasting my time with their bait and switch,
