Michael came on time and just in the nick of time! He was scheduled to do some updates on plumbing for my kitchen renovation when I found out my water heater died! He took care of my water heater and all of my other plumbing needs all in one day. Michael has a great sense of humor and is very meticulous. If you ever need a plumber, call Davis Plumbing. I had a toilet problem and unfortunately I called another company -- DISASTER! They came out to my home and said it would be $3800. I sent them away and called Davis Plumbing. Aaron came out early that afternoon. They were so efficient and quickly took care of the clog in the main drain and charged only $165 -- what a difference. It is so nice to know that a family owned business is so honest and helpful. I really recommend them if you have any kind of plumbing problem. You can really depend on them to do a great job.

Solar water heater, got the run around and never followed up. Plus charged a $135 service call. They had no idea what the problem was. I finally found someone who identified the problem immediately. Wasted a couple of weeks with these people and no hot water.

Eddie and Ray were awesome! We had to reroute our hot water line and they were very efficient, cutting very minimally into our drywall. We also asked if they could change the trim in our two showers and that work was a great experience too. After spending several hours at our home, I felt like I found my plumbing company of choice.

Copper compression fittings are said not to be as visually appealing as sweat soldering fittings. I would have to agree with this assessment. Compression fittings on the bottom outside.out of sight are not the issue, it's the fittings at the top that you see everyday. Caulking versus mud to fill pipe hole in the ceiling drywall? Try not to make the holes that big to begin with. I would just prefer a smaller hole with dry wall mud. If a fire barrier in the garage is important then mud will win out over silicone caulking. Making a smaller hole for PEX and copper might slow down the job a little bit but I won't have to worry about possible. Fire code issues. Other than this hole with silicon in it, there seems to be no possible code issues at this time.
