Great experience with the guys at BSJ. We got 3 quotes, and I won't lie, BSJ wasn't the cheapest. What they DID do was take the extra time to examine every feature I had asked about and quoted me accurately and honestly. They were up front with risks and recommendations. They followed up after the quote to see if we had any questions.

On installation day, they did excellent work and finished the project on-time. They left everything clean and tidy. The recommendation they had for a new kitchen sink was spot-on and I'm very happy with the end product.

We were so impressed with the quality of the service we received from BSJ Plumbing. Michael arrived when scheduled and was able to complete the entire job same day. Everything about our experience with BSJ was good and we will definitely call on them again if needed in the future.

BSJ was great! I needed to coordinate the disconnection and removal of an old water heater in the morning, followed by a reinstall of a new unit later that same afternoon. This was due to the need for some carpentry work by another service provider to be completed to repair water damage. The BSJ team was great about scheduling both items and the technician Fred was knowledgeable and efficient. Should I need plumbing assistance in the future I will be using BSJ and can’t speak highly enough about my experience with them.

We had a washer drain back up late, Sunday night and the tech who came out was so great, respectful and communicative with me about our rental property and so courteous to our tenants. We had multiple more techs out over the course of a full pipe reroute and replacement and my tenants made it a point to let me know they were the nicest, most “respectful, polite, and personable” techs they’ve ever encountered. I was confident they were reasonable in their recommendations and honest about necessary repairs/replacements vs things that could wait or just be cleared out. Defiantly couldn’t recommend this company enough!

WOW. I am totally impressed. Had a serviceman by the name of Neil install a FIsher & Paykel double drawer dishwasher. He was knowledgeable, professional, friendly, a perfectionist. He did a GREAT JOB. Highly recommended.

BSJ installed a whole house filtration system. They were thousands $$ less than another local plumbing business and installed a higher quality unit. Neal came out to provide an estimate and Fred performed the install. They were very professional. I would recommend BSJ to anyone. They also replaced our water pressure regulator because ours had failed.

I had my tankless water heater flushed and serviced. The technician, Steven, was thorough and provide all the answers to my questions. Very happy with BSJ services.

I called BSJ yesterday for a problem with our toilet bolts. Michael Gisbran came out that afternoon to fix it. I couldn't believe that I got same day service, and such awesome service. It was a pleasure to get to know Michael. He is very professional and friendly at the same time. He did a wonderful job. I highly recommend BSJ Plumbing to everyone that has a need for a plumber. In the future if we need a plumbing repair we will look no further than this company.

Steven from BSJ Plumbing was right on time which I always appreciate. He identified the problem with our water heater after seeing evidence of water in the belly pan and rust around the lower heating element. He said best to try and replace the heating elements if the rust hasn't too badly damaged the threads. He said option B was to try and get it replaced from AO Smith while under warranty but realize that they will charge an inflation increase of what the unit costs today versus what it costs when we bought in 2019. We went with the replacement option and fortunately, the threads were still useable. Steven replaced both upper and lower heating elements, showed me the corrosion on both, and then tested the water heater to make sure it was working and not leaking. While we were waiting for the water heater to drain, he asked me if I had any other plumbing concerns. I showed him that our dishwasher spraying arm had become detached and he was able to fix that and getting it working again - at no charge!

I was very impressed with Steven and the time he took to explain our repair options. I would highly recommend BSJ Plumbing and Steven in particular.

BSJ Plumbing got to us right away when we had a pipe leaking in an inner wall. Brad, was very informative and answered all of my questions quickly. The technician, Michael, repiped and updated our kitchen lines professionally and cleaned up when he was done. Thank you BSJ Plumbing.

This business was selected by my hot water heater manufacturer for a warranty defect. I was to pay labor, but parts were covered by the warranty.

First, BSJ could not come out for 2 full days. Once the technician arrived, he diagnosed the problem as an electrical failure in the thermostat. Apparently, this required a full swap of the hot water heater. Not a huge deal because it's easy to access and had quick disconnect fittings that were not old.

Next the technician convinced my wife that we needed a whole house pressure reducing valve because our pressure was too high and it was a code issue. Keep in mind that this is city pressure and is the same for the entire neighborhood (and probably most of the city). Also, this was not a cause of the hot water heater failure or any other issue. This valve was $500 to install and my wife felt like she did not have the option to say no. We had been out of hot water for two days already. The new valve has a slight leak and some of the new copper is bent - not sure about the code on that install.

Next, my wife had to accompany the technician to Lowes for the replacement. Lowes was actually great, the big box store did their best and took care of the issue. The technician then spent hours on the swap out. Labor for the install? $850 Yes, that is correct another $850. It cost us $1350 for a hot water heater warranty replacement. The hot water heater was only $460 when brand new.

The best part is that he left a giant sticker on the water heater so I can remember to tell folks who NOT to call.

Edit 8/20/21 BSJ contacted me and came out to repair the leak (which was done quickly and without incident). We also discussed the workmanship and I believe we both agreed that the pipe joint that was dented (looked like a hammer blow, but who knows), was not up to their standards of quality. I appreciate BSJ's prompt response, but I stick by my review.

Found problem, offered solution, promptly fixed.

Our guy Robert is awesome. He was very thorough and talked me through everything and all of the different options. I'm very confident in his skills and the company's ability to get us taken care of.

Remodeled a closet to hold a stackable washer/dryer, worked professionally, efficiently, and courteously. Robert researched to find the best fit for what I needed. My entire experience with BSJ Plumbing was excellent. Scheduling same day service was quick and easy, and the scheduler was very professional and courteous. Michael G was my service tech, and I was able to see when he was on his way, and keep track of his ETA in real time. Michael was great! He listened thoroughly to everything I needed help with, and confirmed back to me what he was hearing to make sure we were on the same page. Ultimately, I needed natural gas lines checked for leaks, and ensuring a safe connection to a brand new gas range and oven. He checked everything, showed me what looked great, and what needed repair, then drew up a quote promptly. The price was fair, so he completed the work on the spot, which was basically an old shutoff valve replacement, as the old one was leaking and out of code compliance. He even showed me where newer valves had been replaced when we replaced a water heater and updated the AC/furnace system, bringing peace of mind that previous work by others was done to code and was safe. BSJ Plumbing and Steve Parks recently completed a large, messy plumbing project for me that required digging up the yard and installing new pipes. Steven was exceptionally courteous, professional, and efficient. He led the job and stayed with the project through to the end. He started working right away to systematically diagnose the issues and he didn’t pass me off to someone new because he was busy with other appointments. Steve patiently and thoroughly answered my many questions and he got answers/confirmation when he wasn’t 100% certain or I requested it. He was honest and didn’t nickel and dime me for every little thing; the quote was fair and reasonable —there were no surprises and they were highly accommodating. They were diligent and took careful measures to minimize the mess inside and out.

This company is contracted with Lowe's for delivery and installation services. I purchased a new dishwasher and within 1 day was called by them to set up an appointment for the next day! The service man, Robert, was very punctual and professional. He tested out water line and explained, in detail, why we may want to consider adding a regulator sometime in the future, but never tried to hard-sell me on the purchase. Then as he was removing the old dishwasher, he realized the new dishwasher's handle was going to prevent us from opening one of our cabinet drawers. He went ahead and removed the old washer and took the new one back to the store for us, and the next day we returned to the store and purchased a different washer. Within a few days, an appointment was made and again Robert returned in punctually, calling first to advise he was having a problem at a current job, and might be a little late for our job. Once arrived, he had the new washer installed and tested quickly, going over all the paperwork in a thorough manner with me. The company never charged me for having to come out twice, which was much appreciated also! I highly recommend this company for your plumbing needs, and will be using them in the future for all of mine!

We had our dishwasher installed on Thursday by Roy Temple. Can not say enough about Roy’s customer service. He was not only knowledgeable about our new purchase, but most importantly he was extremely friendly. While turning our water back on he noticed that our pressure was way too high. He called into the office right away and was able to change his schedule around for the next morning to get it taken care of. He showed up the following morning just as promised and fixed the issue within no time. BSJ Plumbing has earned our suppport and us as a customer. They were referred to me i own a 76. Unit apt complex in Tempe. We had sewer lines backing up into bath tubs and over flowing toilets. Bsj saw the urgency of my need and fit me in. They were extremely professional with our staff and tenets. They were able able to detect the problem with their camera and cut the nasty roots. And had our sewer lines flowing again in the right direction, I would highly recommend them!

He gave us a price and stuck to it - without any other surprises later. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. He was also always aware of keeping everything clean and disinfected making sure he sprayed everything down. I inherited bad plumbing in a house I recently bought and had the sewer main collapse on me. Both Michael and Keith did great jobs both scoping to find the problem and then fixing it. Setting up financing was really easy and their dispatch was very helpful both calling me and sending texts to keep me updated on everything. I will be using them again when i inevitably have to replace the other cheap pipes that the previous owners left me.

Neil did great service today on a leaking master bath faucet I was told previously had to be replaced, and fixing a pipe where we thought we just needed the sink plug fixed, but the pipe was so corroded (after 20+ years) it might have caused a terrible leak. I felt sure the service was accurate, fair priced and saved us a disaster in future. 100% confidence in Neil and the company.

Roy installed our new AO Smith water heater today. We found our old one leaking just yesterday so we ran to Lowes to find a replacement. We scheduled the install at checkout for the next morning. Great work. I have been involved in construction and maintenance supervision for 40 years and have seldom seen better crews. I had a utility sink installed in my garage, and a pressure regulator for my whole house. Mike Gisbran, Joe Money, and Bob Labrecque took care of a complex project that included cabinet demo, wall demo, sewer drain and vent relocation and dryer vent relocation. Thier workmanship and attention to detail was exemplary. BSJ is not the cheapest around, but the work is top notch. Hire these guys; you won't be disappointed.

several years ago i purchased a solar hot water heater to work along side my regular hot water heater. The solar hot water heater had. finally seen its last. i contacted the manufacturer in Tennessee and asked for the AZ service people and they connected me with BSJ Plumbing & Appliance. Washing machine busted and had about 3” of water in part of house. Left message for Brad emergency man. He called within 1/2 hour, came over as soon as he was able to buy the parts he needed around 8pm after probably working all day and fixed our problem.
This was the second time we used them and they were efficient then also.

My water heater broke, water all over the place. I called BJS plumbing. They sent someone out to look at it and they were here Within an hour and said it no more warranty on it. We looked it up and they were correct. So we ordered a new one from them and a little them 3 hours they had a new one replaced by Aaron. Cannot believe it took that fast. I was so amazed and pleased.

I don't usually leave reviews but the experience with BSJ Plumbing absolutely warrants one.

I purchased a dishwasher through Lowes with installation and BSJ Plumbing was the one to complete the installation. The plumber who completed the work was Robert. Robert did an excellent and thorough job throughout the process. He measured the dishwasher prior to brining it in given that the brand (Bosch) can potentially cause heigh issues. Went over options on how to turn the water off and recommend (not pushed) potential upgrades to piping in the future (solid recommendations that I had from the home inspector so it wasn't a hard up-sell). The work was completely in a timely manner, my house looked great, and Robert walked me through the piping that was done and where certain things were and the reasons why. On top of that, he even took the old dishwasher away to recycle.

Cant say enough quality things about the company and specifically Robert. If you purchase a dishwasher through Lowes and they are the plumbers to install it, you will be in good hands!

Michael Gisbrane did an extremely competent and professional job under challenging conditions. He also remedied an unforeseen issue due to the last installer which the previous homeowner used.

We have had a leaking hot water heater since Thanksgiving and have been fighting our warranty company because they cannot find anyone to come out to my little town about an hour away from phoenix. Needless to say, I called a number on the new hot water heater I was looking at and they referred me to BSJ plumbing. Not only did they come out to my town, but they were on time, and they also saved me a lot of time and money by offering to install the water filtration system that I had already purchased at the same time. He even called the water heater manufacturer for us and ordered a replacement part. When we found the item was out of stock, BSJ found an in stock part somewhere else and then Fred came and installed it right away. We thought we were going to have to go without hot water for a long time, but thanks to BSJ, we did not and their pricing was extremely fair!!*** I will DEFINITELY use BSJ for any of my plumbing needs in the future. Neil was our plumber, and he was honest, fair, thorough, and kind. He was able to find a solution to a problem that another plumber was going to charge over 3 times the amount for, and did not have to jackhammer our floor, like the other plumber was going to do. Are you kidding me? You seem to be rip offs that are trying to sell overpriced repairs! Certainly not pleased with my water heater flush that cost me $79 for nothing more but a recommendation that I need a $2000 repair. No flush was performed!. Michael was very efficient and professional when installing my refrigerator water line. He met my expectations. My only issue was cost. Michael was here less than 3 hours and the cost was $700 with an $50 off coupon. Allowing for supply cost, say $100, labor cost of $200+ per hour seems unreasonable. I would recommend Michael but not sure I will use BSJ Plumbing again.

Dustin and BSJ Plumbing were great to work with! We needed our water heater flushed and Dustin came out same day. He was extremely professional and helpful in explaining the work he did on our water heater and also future maintenance of our water softener. We would definitely use him again.

BSJ Plumbing is extremely professional and responsive. Our water heater broke on a Friday and Brandon communicated with me all weekend but we decided to wait until Tuesday to have service. Michael came on Tuesday right on time and provided options for replacement. When I chose a tankless system he called to reserve the equipment and came back the next day to install. Michael and his apprentice were here all day, were both super friendly to work with, and their work was impeccable. They took time to explain how our new heater worked and to answer our questions. When they left, the work space was spotless. Additionally, they provided service for us which was way outside their service area! I really appreciated the texts I received to let me know that the plumber was on his way, with a picture of him and a bit of personal information.
I would highly recommend BSJ to anyone in the Chandler/Gilbert area (that is their area of service, we live in the extreme North Valley). I wish they served my area! They would be the ONLY plumbing company I would ever use again!

BSJ offers a service for customers to be proactive regarding plumbing for their homes. Once their assessment was completed in February, we have been proactive in having all of the recommended issues with our home addressed. Fred Cherri has been a pleasure to have in our home. He is respectful, courteous, professional and kind. He has replaced a disposal, replaced all three emergency shutoff valves in the kitchen, installed an expansion tank at the water heater, replaced a bathroom faucet and today he installed new water hammer arrestors, backyard anti-siphon valve and hose bib as well as a pressure release valve. Wow, what an amazing experience. I just moved into a new house and the garbage disposal was dead. Deader than dead. I hit up Michele's Master Handymen, but she's all booked up (that's how good she is) and referred me to BSJ.

Great service from BSJ plumbing. Neil was very helpful and knowledgable with installing our hot water and kitchen sink faucet. Neil was willing to come out to the house on a Saturday to give us a second opinion on our water pressure. Come to find out our pressure was fine after all and he then proceeded to install our kitchen faucet. I'm happy BSJ is now going to supply all of their plumbers with new pressure readers.

BSJ helped me deal with an electric hot water heater that needed to be replace. It was covered under a Lowes extended warranty program, but Lowes was fairly non-responsive and difficult to deal with. BSJ actually coached me on how to best deal with L:owes (which is not something I expected them to do) and with their help, I was able to get Lowes to honor the warranty. I also wanted to recognize the technician Fred Cherri who did an awesome job throughout the process. I would definitely recommend Fred and BSJ to anyone needing service.

Fred Cherri came out on Sunday to find that the problem within the house was a clogged pipe. Once Fred cleared the clog, he checked the pipe in my front yard leading to the sewer. He could see that I didn’t have an open line. He came back this morning to discover that I had a cracked and collapsed pipe. The cable company contractor was there and took responsibility for breaking the pipe when installing fiber optic cables. Thank you to Fred Cherri for not giving up in locating the problem. I really appreciate BSJ and Fred’s work!

Chad and Robert just installed a OTR microwave. They did a great job and were very fast and cleaned up after. They even set the time and check the operation. I am very satisfied with the installation.

We had been putting up with stools not flushing properly for a while and finally decided to get them looked at by a plumber. I called BSP Plumbing on a Monday and they said they could get someone here the next morning.
They sent Jonathon Magus, a technician with about 6 years of plumbing experience. He was running a little late but called 10 minutes before appointment time to say he would be at our house in 30 minutes, and he was.
It did not take long for him to analyze the problem on both stools. He had the parts on the truck and had both stools fixed in short time. He tested the stool flushing and had me check it and they both worked fine. A week later we have had no flush problem and are very satisfied that he fixed the problem.

When my seven year old toilet - installed as part of a complete bathroom renovation by a large Valley firm - began leaking water between the floor and the bottom of the bowl, I contacted BSJ Plumbing with whom I had worked several times before, always with outstanding results. The technician, MIchael, was able to come the same day that I called. He not only corrected the problem - caused at least in part by a faulty initial installation - he also upgraded everything with higher quality parts. my technician was professional and did great work. The company prices however were extremely high. they replaced a part in my shower knob that was not working. it required one trip to diagnose and another to bring part and install. my bill was 685 total. I appreciated the good work but will not use again because prices are too high

I needed the valve replaced in the wall for the ice maker line and Fred came to do the repair. He arrived on time, was very courteous and professional, and went about the repair in a timely fashion and cleaned up the mess. He had to cut into the drywall but I don’t even need to have it fixed as it’s behind the refrigerator and looks as neat as can be. I highly recommend BSJ...they also replaced a water heater for me in the past.

We have always used BSJ for our plumbing needs.
This time, we needed a new kitchen sink faucet installation and replacement of shut-off valves under our bathroom sinks.
Fred, our service technician, alerted me that we had unusually high water pressure and tested our pressure reducing valve.
The valve was not functioning so we agreed to have that replaced during the service call. Fred was very methodical and explained everything in layman's terms.
A fellow BSJ technician, Chad, was in the area and brought Fred a part he needed to complete the work. Chad stuck around to help Fred complete the job since there was now an additional task involved (and we needed to leave for an appointment by 5).
Their teamwork was excellent and they completed the job with plenty of time to spare.

Very Happy with this company! Chad came and installed my new Water Heater. There were several obstacles to overcome: he was able to diagnose the problem, understood the problem, and had expertise to correct the problem. Offered him water and food, but he did not take break until job was completed. Dispatcher had called 2 hours prior to appointment time to notify that Chad was running late due to an issue at another job. Very professional company! 2 years ago had dishwasher installed by Bryce. I was very happy with that experience, too.

I was looking to have a water softener system installed at my house, which my wife and I just moved into. I saw a BJS label on the water heater at our house and contacted the company to come take a look. They were able to send a technician almost immediately. He took a thorough look at our system and advised that we did not have enough room in our water heater closet to install a softener, but we could install a different type of water conditioning system that would ameliorate our hard water. And, two days later, he installed it.

Replaced hosebib that had broken off from corrosion that was connected to the main waterline to the house. Water to the house had to be shut off until the repair could be made. They were able to come out about an hour after calling and made the repair the same day in a very timely manner. Robert is the tech that came out and did our repair. He explained what he was going to do before starting the job. We will definitely keep using them!

I recently had my water heater replaced with a newer tank by BSJ Plumbing. I didn't know that the old one needed replacing until it was shown to me where there had been corrosion occurring at the bottom of the tank. I appreciated learning a bit more about water heaters and how they fail over time. I didn't want to take the chance of a leak or worse, so I opted for the new tank. Fred diagnosed the issue immediately and gave great, understandable answers to all my questions. I got text updates when he was en route and a phone call before he arrives. Call BSJ first!! I've had two visits from a different plumber and one visit from an electrician. If I had called BSJ first I could have avoided all that and had consistent hot water three weeks ago. Brad is knowledgeable, professional, prompt and communicative. He came out on a Sunday and had the issues diagnosed and fixed in no time. Really nice people, really great company.
