I had a new sewer line and water main installed from house to street. After several companies declined the job because of special difficulties with access for heavy equipment and placement of several very large old trees on the property- I contacted Memphis Sewer and Water. Ryan Foster came out in a more than timely manner, identified the issues, figured out options and discussed a couple of choices for proceeding. I found him straightforward and honest about what his crew would do and what I could expect. He didn't gloss over or sugar coat what it would take to get the job done. He sent me an estimate and fit me in to his schedule quickly. Ryan oversaw the work of his crew. They worked hard and professionally, dealing with sprinkler lines, trying to go easy on tree roots and even finding and fixing a problem at the last minute that could have easily been overlooked and would have been a major headache to rectify later. So- points for attention to detail.
This was major excavation and the impact on the property was considerable- I feel they did an adequate job with back filling and clean up, but it is clearly not their main focus. You will need a lot of work done to put your property back together. Maybe Ryan and his crew should expand into landscaping as a side business. Would I recommend them? Absolutely. They are professional and skilled at their work.

I called about getting my AC looked at for repairs/replacement. The first young man to come out was pleasant, checked out my system ad gave me an estimate of the cost of the repairs needed. The second guy who was arriving to give me the price for replacement of my AC system was rude, quick and condescending. I communicated that I was only needing the quote and not planning to move forward with financing/payment at the time and would be giving them a call in a couple of days. It seemed as though hearing that information really upset the young man and he began asking intrusive questions as to why I was not going through with the financing price- inappropriate and unprofessional. I repeatedly told the young man that I would be calling them with my decision after I spoke with my partner about everything and he continued to question and want to discuss WHY? I will not be calling back for that reason. Maybe the guys are paid on commission or something because he was behaving as of he was going to lose money or something if I didnt purchase that same day.

Let me say this, when I called their office for a leak in my ceiling, they had a technician onsite within a couple of hours. I was frantic that my ceiling was going to fall in. It turned out to be a stopped up condensate line from my a/c. I really appreciate the office staff for being sympathetic and for the technician for jumping right on the problem and getting my issue solved very quickly.
