I called, he arrived 20 min later and stayed at a difficult job through to a happy resolution! The clog was more than a floor down and he had to by-pass an old fashioned catch to get at it. Very happy with results and the charge was very fair.

My sewer line backed up due to tree roots this past Sunday 6/10/18. I called the Service Line Warranty folks and was told that Madison service shops did not open until 8 or 9 am on weekend mornings. They also said that they'd expedite my request, so I expected to hear from someone by 9 or 10:00 am at the latest. No one called, so I called Service Line Warranty around 11:30 am. They said that they had contacted Roto Rooter here in Madison and that they had accepted the call. I asked when they had done this and they told me 10:45 am their time (9:45 am here). So why the wait beyond the time they told me shops here in Madison open? What does expedited service mean?

A little before noon I got a call from the local Roto Rooter service person. He said that he was the only person working for the entire Madison area and was backed up. He arrived a little after 2:00 pm and by 3:00 pm my sewer was unplugged. His name is Ryan and he apologized for the delay. He was very friendly, worked hard, and was efficient. I rate him at 5 stars but give the Service Line Folks zero stars for their handling of my call. I felt misled for having waited all morning for a contact of some sort, and then for half the afternoon. I've provided this detail because of the many Madison residents forced to subscribe to this Service Line Warranty arrangement. Hopefully, they handle their calls better during weekdays.

Again, 5 stars for Ryan at Roto Rooter and zero for Service Line Warranty.

I was awakened on a Friday at 6 AM by the security alarm and the site was determined to be the basement laundry room. The alarm was triggered by collapse of a good portion of the ceiling along with a light fixture due to water damage. I assumed it was a pipe but there was no obvious source that I could see. Monona plumbing was the fourth plumber that I called after 7 AM and were able to respond before noon. The prior three were not be able to respond until the following Monday. Monona removed a few more feet of drywall to reach a pipe with a crack in it and repaired it. I am very thankful to them for their responsiveness.

Dan is wonderful. I work for a brewery so we have drain clogs somewhat regularly. Every time we have needed him he shows up, and is always able to quickly identify the root problem and solutions. Highly recommended.

I've contracted Oliver's Plumbing twice for my 1900s-built home here in Sun Prairie. Ron's workmanship is superlative and timely. His manner is very kind, honest and personal. Both of the jobs I had done were on old construction that has been decaying. In the first situation, Ron replaced the toilet drain flange, which was cast-iron, a job I was not capable of. The second job was done today and he replaced my tub train, again, having to saw away hundred-year-old cast-iron drain pipes, removing a drum trap and replacing all that with modern PVC. No more clog, no more hair, and the construction is beautiful.
