Tyler and his companion were so helpful and kind. They efficiently solved my issue with my shower not working, and they took the time to explain how a remodel on my sink would work. They were friendly and will 100% recommend

Called Duncan to use the camera scope service they provide. We have the main sewer line scope on older homes before we purchase them. Duncan had been recommended by another property owner in Lubbock. The property owner had been using them for a couple of years and stated the cost is typically $150.00. As a property manager I completely understand that price can vary by situation and time spent. I contacted Duncan and spoke with there one of there representative. As always I ask how they charged for the service and typically how long does it take. I was told the service was charged by the hour and it could run between one to two hours. The lady was super nice and got me scheduled.
I get a phone call from the service technician at 8:30 a.m. telling me they were heading to the property. I get to the property at 8:40 a.m. and the Duncan Technician arrive at 8:55 a.m. The technician are very professional and nice. They get straight to work and the scope service was great. Here is why I am giving them one star. The technician are done with the scoping at 9:30 a.m. (that is giving them the benefit out the doubt on time). I am thinking well one hour charge this is going to cost $150. I was told while scheduling the appointment they wanted payment after the service was done and I agreed on that. So I ask the Technician if I could go ahead and pay them before they stated loading up the equipment. He said of course. So he started to ask his assistant what time they left the shop and neither one of them really had a firm idea but settled on 8:30 a.m. At this point I wasn't sure why this was being discussed, until the main technician tells the assistant to run my CC for an hour & 1/2. I look at my watch and say and tell him it is only 9:30?? The main technician then tells me it will take him 30 minutes to put up the equipment and fill out the paper work. I am still not understanding why I am being charged for an hour & half. I tell him that they got to the property at 8:50 a.m. at the earliest and most likely it was 9 a.m. He agrees with me! Great, now I should only be charged for an hour? NO, he then told me that it took him 30 minutes to drive from his shop to the Property. To save time I called to speak with the lady that i scheduled the appointment with and she told me i owed the hour & half. I asked why I wasn't informed on the charge policy when i was asked? There was really not a response.
Honestly, I am not one to criticize a business, as a property manager, I realize there are two sides to a story. In this case, I felt Duncan was not honest and intentionally took advantage of me. I am fine with paying for a charge that is communicated to me up front. I am also ok with a company changing the way they charge for the service. I ask all of these question up front and just wanted clear communication. I have gone to property management convention in larger city's where other managers will tell horror story's of companies taking advantage of them. When I hear these stories, I always tell myself that is one advantage of living in west Texas.

We called JD's because we were having difficulty with programming our thermostats and keeping the church cool. They told us about Wifi thermostats and how they could help with our energy bill and the frustration of having the church cooled/heated during various events that came up without someone physically going to the church and adjusting the thermostats. JD's installed the Wifi thermostats the next day. They were very prompt, professional and answered all of our questions. We will definitely call JD's in the future.

Sinclair has been a wonderful company to work with! Very personable staff, both in the office and in the field, and I appreciate that so much. Drew was here yesterday for a maintenance call and was prompt and efficient with the work. He also took the time to explain some features of the system I wasn’t familiar with. Thanks so much!!!

We had a blocked sewer line which Neal and Taylor Turner tried to clear but correctly identified the problem as in the city's portion of the line. Their charge was quite reasonable. The city workers came out quickly and unblocked their line. But two toilets developed leaks around the base. Taylor came back out to fix the repair that a friend had tried unsuccessfully to make. He efficiently fixed what could have been very costly repair. His charge was very fair again considering the time and work involved. Very satisfied!

They came to my house for repairs under Choice Home Warranty for a claim that I made to repair hose bibs. They came out took pictures and said we will submit this to your warranty company and if they reject the claim we will call you with a quote if I wanted to pay for it. They asked for the $65 copay. I gave it to them. They cashed the check as fast as possible. they never called me with the quote. it was clear when they said if they reject … they meant when they reject the claim. They clearly knew Choice did not cover hose bibs. Yes it is true that they only answered a call but they knew what it was and that it would not be covered. It would have been nice if when they called in the morning to say they were coming if they had just told me that they knew it would probably be rejected do you still want us to come.
