EXCELLENT SERVICE!! I had an emergency plumbing issue...... too much to write about. These guys came out, assessed the problem and explained to me what needed to be done to fix the problem. They did not waste any time and they got right on it. They repaired every issue that I was having and they were honest and up front with me from the beginning. Cant say enough about this company. I will be calling them again!

Was helpful for clogged pipes. They were supposed replace a pipe though and I could not get them to come back out after 3 attempts.

Amazing service! Chase and his partner Eric were quick to solve our water leak at our meter. They dug forever on a day that was 42 degrees wind chill! Professional, right to the point, and great resolve! Thank you Jay Young Plumbing and for Chase taking care of business.

I've used Jay Young several times over the last 6 years, and have always been pleased with the quality of their work and customer service. They have fixed a broken water heater, a frozen A/C unit, installed a kitchen sink, and cleared up my bath drains. I never hesitate to call JYP when I need plumbing or A/C work! Also, Phyllis at the office is very friendly and helpful.

Jay has always been super helpful and there for my family in a pinch. Definitely recommend him to anyone having any sort of issues.

Great company. Fast and helped me with my problem. Cosidering I'm a first time home owner I was really worried about calling someone I didn't know but they were great.

The service that I got from the guys (and lady) at Jay Young was more than commendable! I've never had to call a plumber because I had always lived in an apartment complex so I was walking in the dark with no one to lead me. When I called Jay Young, it was like somebody turned on the sun! Setting up the service call was a breeze and I had all of my questions answered without hesitation. When the service guy arrived and got to business, it was quick and painless! It's hard to find good help nowadays, but with Jay Young I was totally surprised by such great help.

Not the usual company I use.
I had them come out over Thanksgiving break (I understood and extra charge for holiday) , which was great, and after a hearty fee they got my heater working again. The guy never came inside to check the thermostat. I had to call him back a few days later and they charged me $100 to push a button on my thermostat to get it to decently work.
Fast forward to now...my air conditioner wouldn't come on. I called the usual company I use. They found out that the guy didn't connect all the wires correctly, some weren't connected at all and it was a complete mess! And that he set my thermostat up incorrectly (for that extra 100 bucks). the company that fixed it didn't even charge me labor for having to come and fix the problem with ANOTHER company!

I am very pleased with the work they did for me. Jay was very upfront and honest with me when explaining the plumbing issues that were going on at my house.
I had several issues going on that were underneath the house in addition to issues with my water heater and several drain problems.
I was impressed with the knowledge of the plumbers that he sent to do the work.
The work was completed and I am a happy camper!
I will definately call them again.

I have used this company several times for air-conditioning and plumbing problems. They have always done a great job. And they were upfront with me on the repairs and the cost. Definitely earned my trust and my business!

We've called them out for both heating and a/c repair and plumbing issues and have gotten great service every time. Before we had to have a major repair, the owner came out to make sure that we were given an accurate quote. They have always taken care of us promptly, the staff is super friendly and their prices are the best in the city.

AVOID JAY YOUNG PLUMBING!!! I hired Jay Young Plumbing to check for and repair leaks on a gas line in one of my investment properties. I should have done my homework before using a new company. The plumbers that they sent out were slow, not well equipped, and not very knowledgeable. Jay Young Plumbing charges higher hourly rates than other companies. I usually don't mind paying more for a better plumber because they are typically more knowledgable and work faster. Not the case here! I was billed over $1000 to fix minor leaks in a 12 ft section of pipe that equips one device and was located underneath a pier & beam house. My regular plumber could have ran a new line for less than 1/2 of that amount (they were busy and backed up for a few days)! What should have been a 2 hour project turned into 2 days of torture! After visiting with the owner he adjusted the bill a couple hundred dollars, but not enough to be fair.

he found the problem explain to how to prevent. patient and he explained the steps he was performing in what he was doing. professional and courteous. he was in and out in less than 30 minutes. thank u buddy will definitely use this honest business again.

After calling 4 other HVAC companies, that either never called back or blew me off like they don't need my business, I called Jay Young. They were out at almost 5:00 the same day, had my a/c fixed in less than 30 minutes and charged way less than I had expected. Thank you

Water started draining from our disposal.
I wanted it replaced.
One company I called wanted $49.00 and another wanted $89.00 Just to come and assess the problem.
When I told them that I wanted the disposal replaced with the best one they had they told me that it didn't matter, they had to come and check for themselves.
When I called Jay Young plumbing I was given one price that was for the the entire job.
The first two companies said that there was no way they could replace it that day.
Jay Young plumbing told me they would be there that afternoon.
Needless to say, they got the job.

BEST PLUMBING SERVICE I HAVE EVER RECEIVED IN LUBBOCK!!! I have used many plumbing services and felt like I was overcharged or sent slow and inefficient workers. Jay Young's reps gave me a free quote (and the lowest quote by far) and even drove out after hours to check on my situation and didn't charge me a DIME. I had to have my entire gas line replaced and they were here FIRST thing in the morning ready to go. They were very neat and clean and also extremely respectful. Jay himself came out to oversee the work and explained in detail what all they did. At the end of it all Jay gave me a discount on top of the VERY well priced service and job. I will never use another plumber in Lubbock!!!

I needed an outdoor water faucet replaced, I spoke with several plumbers about the cost of such a repair and Jay Young was the best price and was recommended by Angie's List; so I made an appointment. The technician, John was very knowledgeable and efficient. He did a great job.
A few days later my air conditioner wasn't cooling and since I had such good luck before I called Jay Young's again . Phyllis was super sweet and sent Raymond my way eventhough it was late in the day. Raymond and Michael fixed the problem and within an hour I had a cool comfortable house. This plumbing company does quality work for a fair price.
I'm glad that I found them through Angie's List.

These guys were so knowledgeable and so professional. Fixed a leak in our upstairs bathroom in a very short time period. VERY COURTEOUS TOO! HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM!!!

Had a pipe bust in the wall. They came out and got my water off very early in the morning. They were back in no time and replaced the broken pipe. Thanks for saving me much more damage then there was!! I will be calling again, when I need a Plumber.

Best experience I have ever had with a home repair company. Raymond is very professional and efficient. Phyllis was such a help with my home warranty. I will always call Jay Young for any further issues. Kudos to this company and their team!

I have nothing but great things to say about these guys! Raymond came to check my HVAC system out and was very informative and honest! Chase and Craig came to fix a leak- did a great job. Helped move my furniture as well! A+. Will have them work on all of my rentals!

Jay and Raymond did exactly what they said they would do. They were prompt at returning calls and knowledgable. We had a mini split installed and they were top notch. We have also used their plumbing services in our restrooms. No complaints and cheaper than who we had been using.

120 dollars later there is fecal matter coming out of my tub. I called the lady about the problem and she hung up on me. They are full of it.

The techs did an excellent job and did their best to minimize the amount of floor space that had to torn up to fix the problem. I would hire them again.

Had a 1-5pm appointment time with them on Monday January 18th.
They were a no show. Won't use again.

Scary service. My bathroom floor was warm. We called, he came. He stated he didn't want to crack into the slab. We said we just needed to fix it. He said they would return with supplies. They were a crew of 20 years olds that scattered like ants (one into the attic?) and, suddenly, my house had four large holes in four different rooms including an 3ft x 10ft cavern in the master bedroom and a pile of shattered sheetrock in the corner. The boys never explained what they were doing. I wasn't expecting all of this and asked if they knew anyone who could fix the walls. They said, he will. In 25 minutes they had come and gone. Suddenly, He (Jay Young) appears to check on the work, said looks good and talked about the bill. I asked about the wall repair and he wrote down a number stating Juan's pretty good. The wall repair will cost more than the plumbing rig.

I'm now left with a disaster. They cut and sealed the copper supply lines for warm water and snaked a plastic tube up into the attic and down through the other walls. Water lines laying on top of my insulation? Hey, at least it's hot water and won't freeze! If you need a faucet changed, fine, but don't hire this crew for anything more than that.

The technicians were gentlemen and I felt safe with them in my home. They did a great job! They also noticed my AC condensate drain problem and checked that, too. They are considerate, fair and nice. I will definitely use them again.

Jay Young has been my plumber for as long as I have been in business (15 years). I have always been extremely pleased with his work ethic, quality of work and also the plumbers and helpers he hires to help get all the work done. He and his company have always done their work in a timely and professional manner. I for one am glad that there is such a reliable, trustworthy and honest company to deal with in Lubbock, TX. I highly recommend him for all your plumbing, heating and air conditioning needs.

Had Aaron come do a service call on my kitchen sink and dishwasher. It was backed up on both sides and dishwasher was leaking. He got it fixed within an hour and managed to get my back door open (it had been stuck shut for a couple months). He even washed out the sink when he was done. Great service and great price. $85 for snaking and vacuuming. Definitely recommended.

Ramon came out and repaired my ac today. He quickly diagnosed the problem and made the necessary repair. He did a fantastic job! I definitely recommend Jay Young plumbing, heating, and air conditioning to all my friends and family!

I would recommend Jay Young Plumbing to anyone. They are professional and friendly. I had problems with my AC they came out when they said they would and the bill was reasonable.
