Plumber. was called at 8:05 in the morning with a backed up sewage grinder system and EJ William had his crew on site in 4 hours. The crew showed up by 11.30 and determined the grinder was bad, failed and water was seeping into my basement. It had to be replaced, which I was ready to do. Ms Brook gave an estimate right up front. Explained they use Zoller septic grinders (#1 rated) because they are faultless & built in the USA- best quality. They drained and removed the old system and used extreme protective measures to protect any further damages. They Installed the new grinder, replaced the PVC connectors and sealed the catch pan. The job was complete - !00% - to my satisfaction by 1:00. Mike and Brooke (Owner and Office manager) patiently answered all of my nit-picking questions and was very polite. The crew was exceptional;, wore masks and shoe booties to keep the the area clean. I would recommend EJ. Williams plumbing to ANYONE!! in and around Louisville & Southern In, they are by FAR THE BEST I've experience Plumbers anyone would want to hire. If I have a plumbing issue, I always call Tony's Plumbing. Just over the past year, they have replaced my sink disposal and most recently, toilet guts in two bathrooms. The plumbers are great, very respectful and always willing to explain what is needed. My jobs were scheduled very quickly and I was kept well informed of the time of arrival. Great customer service from all staff!

Kentuckiana Plumbing gave me a great price on a gas line installation I needed. Everyone else was overpriced and anyone under his price didn't seem competent to me. He showed up when he said, was here about as long as he said and got the job done perfectly and most importantly, safely. I will use Kentuckiana plumbing in the future when I need a plumber.

Came to fix a leak coming from my bath. He determined that the problem was that a part of the tub was not sealed properly. He changed me over $100 and didn't bother to seal the part all the way (which would have taken him an extra minute). What a waste of time and money.

Their website says they're open 24/7. I called them on 2 occasions, both after hours, and both times were emergencies. All I got was an answering machine that says We're closed for the day. Leave a message and we'll call you tomorrow. I had to get other people to address the emergency.
When I have used Blackburn and Davis (during business hours) I was satisfied with their work. But they are NOT available after hours, regardless of what their advertising says.

The receptionist, or whoever answers the phones here was rude towards me multiple times when I called. They interrupted me several times as I was speaking to them and always had an attitude when I would just ask them simple questions. I got an estimate for a $4,000 job. I was ready to hire them and to get the job going right away, but they were completely unprofessional and rude. I asked them if they could break down the estimate to show the cost of labor separate from the cost of materials. You would think this would be a simple request, however it was not. They refused to provide us with that, I am now paying another company $4,000 to get the job done. Thanks for wasting my time, PlumbRight!
